- The damage from his battle with Juri was catching up to Wesker, and coupled with the hits he had taken, he was beginning to falter. It didn’t help that Rory’s offense was nonstop, giving Wesker no time to catch his breath. He needed to take another chance to attack. The first opening he saw, he lunged forward, going straight for the neck.
- His hand never made it there, as the blade of Rory tore through his chest. His attack stopped mid-air as he fell to his knees, shocked. No one had ever stood up to him in the heat of combat like this. He couldn’t fathom that his strategy was simply not enough to overcome the physical wall between the two of them. His chest was bleeding, and the muscles in his shoulder hadn’t even begun to heal. Even the cut on his leg still stung, pain seeping up into the rest of his body. His chest was heavy as it rose and fell. All his intellect had gotten him to this point, with Rory brandishing her axe above him, like a reaper poised to strike.
- Wesker smiled. These fools hadn’t considered his plan B.
- Juri burst into the room, launching a wave of ki into Rory’s back. The demigoddess fell head over heels over Wesker, who took the chance to tactically crawl away. Juri landed on the floor and began slowly walking after Rory, soaking in the moment. The skin on her shoulder was turning yellow and veiny due to the injector stuck on it, pumping her body full of P30.
- P30 was a powerful drug created by Umbrella Corporation that, when injected, increased the user’s physical abilities to unnatural levels. Attached to someone who was already as dangerous as Juri Han, this meant she was near unstoppable. The drug also makes the user incredibly compliant with suggestions from the administrator, who, in this case, happened to be Albert Wesker. As such, she was now a weapon for him to command; a tool to use in his plans. She attacked Rory ruthlessly, the drug combining with Juri’s own sadistic mind.
- Wesker climbed to his feet, and walked away from the fight. His initial strategy was to overwhelm with numbers, but something during the fight had caught his attention. Instead of going after Rory, he went after the man in charge.
