And they met Jar Jar Binks, who talked with his lip.

Oh, my, my, this here Anakin guy,
May be Vader someday later, now he's just a small fry,
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye,
Saying "Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi, soon I'm gonna fly."

We saw Darth Maul, with his double-bladed sword,
He fought Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, it was quite the reward,
And then Qui-Gon was killed, it was a sad day,
But Obi-Wan swore to train Anakin the Jedi way.

Oh, my, my, this here Anakin guy,
May be Vader someday later, now he's just a small fry,
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye,
Saying "Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi, soon I'm gonna fly."

Anakin competed in the pod race, with a need for speed,
And he won the race, fulfilling his dream,
Then they went to Coruscant, the Jedi Council to meet,
They were wary of Anakin, sensing his conceit.

The Phantom Menace was the start of a new trilogy,
And though it had flaws, it still had its beauty,
With amazing effects and John Williams' score,
Star Wars fans were left wanting more.

Oh, my, my, this here Star Wars high,
May the force be with you, as you say goodbye,
To Episode 1, we'll always remember,
For it was the start of an epic adventure.
