personality:
— Park Kenzie is what you would call a natural leader: it's easy for her to take charge in most situations. It's normal for her to make a plan, tell it and say firmly, "this is the way we're going to do it", regardless of how far-fetched her ideas are. No matter how much you don't like the way she wants things to be, her smooth communication skills and subtle persuasions will have the whole group agreeing on her idea.
   She can also be a bit hot-tempered at times, even if you haven't done anything wrong. You can tell she's in a mood when she sits down, crosses her arms and won't reply to anything. This kind of behaviour happens several times a week, and her roommate has accepted this as some kind of weekly routine. God help you if you try to hide; she will find you eventually.
   Occasionally, these emotions will spiral out of control. When this happens, it's best to shove her in her room and leave her alone. Eventually, she'll get bored and either take a nap or start drawing on her hands.
   She's also a major hypocrite. You leave things to the last minute? You'll get shouted at. If she leaves things to the last minute, it's because she's stressed, she's got a lot of things on her mind and you can shut your mouth promptly. If you drop your ice cream, shut the fuck up, it's just an ice cream. If she drops her ice cream, the world must stop what they're doing and get her a new one immediately. Living with Kenzie is like living with a giant baby.
   She also refuses to admit when she's wrong, most of the time. She will churn out tons of excuses just so you can't get a word in edgeways, make a loud noise and sit in another room to "think things through". She accepts that she's problematic, but makes no move to change her behaviour.
   She can be viewed as an overachiever, because none of her efforts are seen as good enough. She'll get home from college after an exam, sit in silence, and think, with highly analytical thinking, where she could have fucked up. If her grades aren't perfect, she'll demand a resit. If you dare interrupt her studying, you'll get a quick slap around the head.
   However, those who don't know Kenzie (such as the general public, people at college, etc.) see her as observant and serious. It's hard not to agree with that when in public, she's usually sitting with her legs crossed, wearing sunglasses, sipping a Starbucks with no expression on her face. She doesn't make much noise in front of people she doesn't know, preferring to communicate only when necessary. She's the type of girl you don't want to sit next to on the bus, because you're intimidated by her unwelcoming stature and blank facial expression.
   When in the company of boys, or anyone who is likely to be attracted to her, she goes the extra mile just to look eligible. She'll often flirt with them jokingly, comment on people walking by, and generally act like a rich hoe, who's good looking and knows it very well. This kind of behaviour only happens with boys, and it's very entertaining to watch her with that attitude. She often teams up with ALLURING to go talk to boys, but makes sure she does most of the talking.
   Anyone who is friends with Kenzie knows that she talks about sex way too much. This is also why she gets along well with ALLURING, because they will stay up all night talking about that one guy who had amazing abs at the beach. She claims to know everything about "coitus" (her preferred term) and would happily pass on all her knowledge to her friends. All this pent-up desire hardly ever gets a chance of release, because of her studying and the fact that she hardly ever gets past third-base with a guy.
   Now, despite her icy aura, and problematic attitude toward most people, she often shows her soft, caring side, but only in front of her friends. When she's not pissed off, or preparing for an exam, she's the softest bean you'll ever know.
   After coming home from college, or from a long hour of studying, she'll throw on her favourite red sweater, curl up in a ball on the sofa and watch Stranger Things on Netflix. You're not allowed to disturb her, unless you're coming to give her hot chocolate, or you're gonna snuggle with her. After this, she's guaranteed to be happy, and trust me, Kenzie's smile is the cutest thing you've ever seen.
   She's actually in touch with her caring side, but it doesn't show through in front of people. If it did, people would get suspicious, because she wouldn't be behaving like the Kenzie they know. You can tell it's showed if you fall asleep on the couch and wake up with a blanket around you; or if you can't afford the jacket you really wanted from the shop, and you find it sitting on your bed after a day's practise. There's a 99% chance Kenzie put it there. If you ask who it was, she'll smile and whisper, "it was the fairies". One thing to know is not to confront her about it, because she'll suddenly get very flustered, and your chance of being visited by "the fairies" again gets lowered.
   When her caring side actually comes out publicly, it doesn't last long. For example, the time she got into a fight with one of her friends, and said "I love you, okay? don't forget that" after making up with them. They just looked at her weirdly, making her say coldly, "oh, fuck you, man."
   In short, Kenzie is a very emotional person. You can catch her in a good mood, or in a bad one. Either way, there's nothing stopping you from loving her irrationally.

   Kenzie was born to a middle class family in the Korean province of Anyang-si, in the summer of 1997. Her mother, Sumin, worked as a science technician at her school and her father, Changkyun, worked in the Korean branch of a Chinese company. She lived a peaceful life, and made a few friends, playing football in her spare time. She loved Anyang-si as it was a massive city and she loved adventures: she'd usually wander off with her friends and worry her parents sick.
   Of course Kenzie has secrets; that time Kim Minjae went in for a hug, but she thought she should kiss him; that time she said she'd go gay for Lee Hyori, and got caught saying that by her mother; not forgetting the time she told her math teacher she had a crush on him, just so he'd make her grade higher. She tells these stories to people, but says "don't tell anyone, it's a secret". Everyone knows the stories, but doesn't tell them to others.
   She chose her GCSE's with much thought, and decided to pursue a career in psychology, attending college to work toward a degree in science. She took residence at Apartment 2B, which is relatively close to her college, and that's where the story unfolds.

— He’s one of the more laid-back people: he gets his work done cleanly and efficiently so that he could have enough time to do things he actually likes doing, to say the least. He’s always smiling and joking around with the other residents, though at first glance he may seem a bit standoffish. He strikes people as someone who’s a bit shy at first before getting to know him and realizing how much of a goofball he can be. He fluctuates between being confident and doubting things about himself, which may mean he’s always looking for ways to improve or change. Along with his friends, he seems to go along with any plan they might have, stupid or not. The calmer mood maker, if you will.

first impressions:
— Kenzie // she found him very charismatic. His way of talking and his small smiles were very enchanting. She felt glad to be living next door to him, for those reasons.
— Kihyun // He found her very pretty. That's really all to it. That's the only reason why he started a conversation with her, to converse with a pretty girl and to later brag about it to his friends. He thought she was smooth-talking and more interesting than he initially expected.

— Kihyun acted very chill around Kenzie for the first few days, not particularly eccentric. He saw how she essentially got more comfortable around him as their relationship developed, and finally let his "true" persona out. There's a lot more eyesmiles and winking when he's with Kenzie, and certainly a lot more involuntary swearing and meme-making. He was always his usual self around her, a naturally kind and happy person. He always treated her like a friend, even when she would act cold towards him. He found himself slowly falling in love with her, and let it happen. He likes to hug her from behind and rest his chin on the top of her head, and every time he does that he feels nostalgic.

— Kihyun doesn't like saying how he really feels about Kenzie to his friends, preferring to make a statement about how hot she is, and leaving it at that. However, when he does confess, he gets really dreamy, and starts saying how fun it is to be with her and how much he misses her when she's not there, and to be truthful, it gets a little bit boring listening to him.
