Welcome to the Optiminer set-up guide.
This set-up guide requires a dedicated Mining Rig, in-case you do not own a rig and you want to get started
we provide a full rig set-up service where we talk you through the set-up of a mining rig. This service requires
no prior knowledge and costs $35. Contact details for this service:

Optiminer software is free to use, please follow these steps one by one to fully install Optiminer.

1. Download Optimer at:
http://optiminer.eu/static/ethos-1.2.7-optiminer.imgc

2. Download raw HDD copy tool:
http://optiminer.eu/static/HDDRawCopy1.10Portable.zip

3. Install raw HDD copy tool

4. Connect your SSD/HDD or USB stick to your computer

5. Open raw HDD Copy tool and select "FILE - Double click to open file"

6. Then select ethos-1.2.7-optiminer.imgc and click continue

7. Select your SSD/HHD or USB stick that you want to use for your rig and click continue

8. Wait till the process is complete and safe remove your SSD/HDD or USB. Especially for USB it's important you do a safe removal.

9. Plug your SDD/HDD or USB Stick into your mining rig and make sure this is the only bootable device attached to your rig & start your rig.

10. If your device is set-up correctly ethOS will now load, if not please follow steps 5-9 again.

11. Type "Nano remote.conf" and press enter

12. You will see a link, type a # INFRONT of the link so it turns grey.

13. Press CTRL + x, then press "y" and press enter

13. Open the following image:

14. As seen in this image there is something red-lined "rig 11b536" now this 11b536 will be a different code for you. This is your unique rig code. Please write down this code as you will need it in the following steps.

15. Type "nano local.conf" and press enter

16. On line 10 you see  "optiminer-zcash=proxywallet" plus an address, please replace this address with your personal MNX wallet. And TRIPPLE CHECK this address.

17. In the section "Worker types" you will see "# miner 7f4682 optiminer-zcash".  Remove the # on this line

18. On this same line you see "7f4682" please replace this with your unique rig code you wrote down earlier.

19. replace "miner" with a name you want to give your rig, for example, "rig-01" this can be whatever you want.

20. In the last section you see 2 similar sections, one for NVIDIA one for AMD please follow the next steps in the correct section of the GPU's your rig has.

21. remove the # on the first line of the section you're editing (either the NVIDIA or AMD section)

22. Replace "miner1" with the rig name you gave your rig. Also, remove "-(Nvidia)" or "- (AMD)"

23. Go to the line where it says "# mem" and remove the #, you'll see another rig code, replace this rig code with your own unique rig code you wrote down earlier.

24. Now you see a number 6 times, replace all 6 numbers with the mem your GPU normally runs on. If you're inexperienced in mining and have no clue what mem your GPU's run on here is a list of GPUs and their correct mem:
AMD RX570 GAMING 4GB - 2000
NVIDIA 1060 6GB - 5200
NVIDIA 1070 - 4200
NVIDIA 1080Ti - 5005

Remember you have to type this number 6 times with spaces in-between.

25. Press "CTRL + x" then press "y" and then press enter

26. Type "sudo reboot" and press enter

27. After the reboot is complete your rig should start mining, you can track your rig at: http://optiminer.eu/workers/YOUR_MXN_ADDRESS
