- Heavy foot falls were heard coming down the steps. A wave of heat following with them.
- The Drakanite could see Nia from a distance. But, he could not spot the snake demon from his current position. No. That didn't happen until Thryne was half way down.
- Immediately his wings flared out and stretched to their full span. The heat coming from Thryne increased by nearly double.. no, triple.
- The stone blackened as all vegetation in the area immediately turned brown. Some even caught fire.
- "Your kind never learns."
- He growled and continued to walk down the steps.
- (Thryne)
- "Thryne.."
- The only man that the Serpent has been hunting for so long. The only man whom he truly desired to face off, no matter what would be the odds for them; how could he not desire such an outcome, when the harassment of the Drakanite has never been forgotten by the Serpent at all?
- "Thryne.."
- "You arrived, at last."
- The Serpent slithers on closer. What arrives before the drkaanite is the much bigger Serpent than he's faced before.. much stronger too. And while in the past this could remain a doubtful, uncertain circumstance that separates the two with the sheer power that separates the two..
- Now, the deepening shadows were more than able to protect him from the rising heat.
- "I was looking for you."
- "I promised I would find you, did I not? Perhaps, you've forgotten.. but I haven't." This would be one of the steps to his road for something greater. This would be the road necessary for him to undertake..
- So that one day, he could be more.
- "I'm afraid you're not going anywhere."
- "You will entertain me, and quench my thirst to see you fall."
- The presence of Nia, however, seems to be mostly disregarded; the Serpent had little to no interest to him.
- (Fidi)
- Flight:
- He needed to take flight and so that is what he had done as he continued to flow through the air and then make his way out of Osrona. He had some matters to tend to and as news got back to him he realized his constant moving around Theria lead him to want to go back to check up on his city.
- Of course the giant serpent caught his eye. It gave off the same vibe to him as did that demon tiger he fought almost a decade ago that gave him his silver mythril tail.
- Though his own eyes did look to Thryne a fellow Drakanite. At this point Zion landed and stood tall upon the grass. He was going to make his way back up the stairs though before he did he looked to Thryne.
- "Do you need any help." The Dragonlord stated after rubbing the ice flakes from his own eyes.
- (Zion Cai)
- There doesn't seem to be much of a response at this particular moment. The creation remains abyssal in existence- leaves and twigs shuffling slightly. Information soon given out towards Thryne who seemed to aggress.
- "You shouldn't be."
- Voice altered by illusions. Words soon following forward... "You are with Theria, yes?...Your people sided with demons- but...It seems like the snake is tired of you." Regardless...
- It seems that she would step forward...Ice trailing within her wake. Promise found within the manner to...Perhaps, assault the Cai for his actions.
- (Carlisle ras Petrakis)
- A blank expression was offered. A direct stare was made into those eyes of the serpent. The same he had threatened to kill when it was smaller and weaker.
- "I remember you."
- He said and stepped forward as the Demon slithered forth.
- "I told you that I would whip your head from your body."
- His left hand had already grabbed upon his staff. Having pulled it free from the clasps upon his back.
- "I've been looking forward to this. Very much so."
- Thryne stated and looked toward the Dragonlord.
- "The Bat stood no chance."
- The Drakanite stated then turned his gaze back to the snake Demon.
- "Lets not waste anymore time."
- (Thryne)
- Zion yawned.
- He had been traveling for he didn't know how long. Lurking within the darkness of every place possible and taking out most threats that could be near the mountain or his own city. Though he could very much see and hear from the voice.
- "You think I'll really waste my time fighting you. Don't disrespect me I have matters to attend to."
- "Thryne, rip something from it as a trophy. I have to be up this mountain. I need to speak with the few up high like myself. I hate politics."
- He said rubbing his eyes once more.
- As for him being attacked attempted to evade and take his leave.
- (Zion Cai)
- It is much akin to facing the shadow of his former self.
- The darkening gaze of the Serpent set entirely upon the 'serpent' of a different kind altogether- that of a drakanite, that which could prove to be a challenge for Fidi all the same. Isn't it always about the history that has been built up between the two, and sometimes, even more than that?
- It's always about who would create history.
- Here and now.
- "Many hunt you."
- "And many will try to take you. But me? Oh, no.. you will be taken by me for a purpose entirely different."
- "Death? That's dull and boring. I have so many plans for you, that you can't even fathom what awaits you around the corner.." But is there any point to keep talking further?
- It is much like Thryne himself has said.. they have no reason to keep talking and mulling this over- especially when the two of them are to be enemies until one of them cannot fight anymore. And even now, as the shadows deepen..
- "Come, then."
- "I'll show you how much I changed."
- How much it was a mistake to harass the Serpent from the very start. A lunge..
- And now, Thryne would have to defend.

- {RP BATTLE} YOU HAVE ROLLED 1 OR UNDER: You have been captured by your enemy! You are completely at their mercy.
- Desc: "Extreme Whiplash. Fidi had found himself literally being whipped, like a whip. The force behind it was great, but not enough to decapitate the beast."
- There is something familiar about his magics. Images of a brilliant red-eyed being coming to mind...The promise of ultimate divinity being within the palm, almost to be shunned away within her darkest moment. Faint and incoherent, unintelligible. And yet...There seems to be nothing more than amusement. An afterthought of the one who once called herself Queen of everything...Now takes the form of a little girl who spritely dances across the battlefield.
- Isn't this beautiful?
- The manner, in which she twirls? The way her body moves and the tumultuous, illusory storm threatens to turn these veryl and into a frozen wasteland? "Isn't it obvious?" she retorts, the chill of her breath becoming apparent...The high-saddity smirk shown underneath the shroud of her cover.
- "I'm not the one that's wasting time here. You are."
- Her response appears to be the same. And while Thryne had seemingly intended on killing someone whom she had made a deal with. It is apparent that she wouldn't allow that to happen so easily. "You drakanites are such a waste of space.." Opulence is found within the rich mink that sways within the radiant breeze, how her step seems to be exaggerated with a pompous, frozen strut.
- "You all can just die now."
- This time, there isn't any movement. Just a matter, in which, a glacier rises to the occasion to end his miserable life.
- (Carlisle ras Petrakis)
- All magical output from the Drakanite suddenly ended.
- "You're not worth the effort."
- Thryne eventually said and came to a stand still. She was just running around, throwing spells from afar. This was some no name kid as far as he was concerned. It was more trouble and drama than it was anything. This was going to take too damn long.
- So, as he stood there his arm to his side the Drakanite would speak again.
- "Take your pet. I'm over it."
- He said and moved his weapon to his back. Thryne wasn't sure where Fidi had gone. When he had whipped the Demon at the end of their fight it flung free of his hand.
- Off somewhere into the woods most likely. That aside the Drakanite began to head North once more. He hadn't paid any attention to any of her petty insults if one could even really call them that.
- (Thryne)
- Effort.
- She's not worth the effort? There seemed to be the presence of something otherworldly. An illusory shadow dawning over the girl's lithe frame- the presence of roses and thorns continuing to unravel across the battlefield, piercing into flesh and armor- pieces of scale and flesh loitering the land. They were opposites. But even then, she finds poetry within the way that she dances with him- blood like rose petals upon freshly fallen snow. Like the presence of ashes upon wool...Innocence tarnished and the desire to save a dark beast all coalescing within her being.
- "You lost."
- The girl stands tall- her staff planted into the ground. Brilliant arcs of ice soon dissipating into nothingness as she pauses. Gentle breathes occur and despite the howling of the frozen everglades around the two...There seems to be sweetness.
- The fur mink around her neck continuing to waver, a dulcet hum spilling forward as she toddles towards Fidi. "...And you'll continue to lose." Amusement remains within her being as she speaks- not particularly minding her words. "You're pathetic. And sad. And weak. And you will never- not now, nor ever..." she adds while gently tapping Fidi's side.
- "Beat me."
- She enjoys this feeling. The illusions of her own grandeur. The moment, were she would soon rise again to lead the snake away. "Come, Fidi. We've much to talk about."
- (Carlisle ras Petrakis)
- So close.
- Yet so far. Had he been just a tiny bit faster, just a tiny bit stronger- then perhaps he could topple the Drakanite after all. What remains to be seen is the defeated Serpent with his flesh torn as result of brutal attempt of the drakanite to decapitate Fidi; despite his best efforts to take the life of the Demon, he survived the initial blow.
- Had it not been for her..
- He could finish the job.
- "You.."
- "Conniving.."
- "Ignorant.."
- "Deceptive.."
- "Repugnant.."
- "Ape."
- The hate they give. The hate that brews within the heart of Fidi as result; and one that threatens to overspill into surroundings with the constant flood of shadows that both attempt to safeguard and drag away their owner, shielding away from the incoming blasts of magma and the shifts of gravity.
- These seething snake-eyes stare towards Thryne.
- And he will remember this; ever since the younger days when he was harassed by the Demon hunter, ever since the younger days when he could not oppose him properly.. but this time, it was terribly close- if only he could push just for a little more..
- Then the drakanite would fall.
- "I will.."
- "Take him. One day."
- Such presence of the boiling anger was not easy to endure; despite that, the Serpent was steadily rising from the ground- his body shifting to slither away as far as he possibly could, away from the battlefield, uncertain of Carlisle buys him time or intends to save his life..
- Until, she comes.
- And that is when he knows he would run short on his time within life; the body begins to shift, steadily dragging itself along elsewhere.
- To safety.
- To contemplate what went wrong.
- (Fidi)
