<Gara> She bows.
<lurkd> Oko hops over.  "Very elegant."
<Gara> "I'm good at moving."
<lurkd> "Yes, much better than I.  I can just hop decently."
<Gara> "You can learn."
<lurkd> Oko attempts a backflip
<Snowshoe> Straal walks over to the little gathering.

<lurkd> "Hi, Straal!"  Oko hugs her.
<Snowshoe> Straal is notably less fishhooky than Alice, and is hugged.
<Snowshoe> "Hi Oko."
<Gara> "Good work, Oko."
<lurkd> Oko's signature grin is shown.  ^~^
<lurkd> "Ah thanks."
<Gara> "Lets get some water."
<lurkd> "Sounds good to me."
<Gara> Alice leads.
<lurkd> Oko follows her.  "My skin is parched."
<Snowshoe> Straal follows.
<Gara> They arrive.
<Gara> Alice gets a flagon of water for everyone.
<lurkd> Oko dumps the water on himself and begins to rub it in.
<Snowshoe> Straal watches.
<lurkd> "That feels better."
<Gara> Alice drinks.
<lurkd> "So what's new?"
<Gara> "Not much."
<Gara> "And you?"
<lurkd> "I found the nicest anthill in the far corner of the camp."  ^~^
<Gara> "Oh?"
<Gara> "Tell meabout that."
<lurkd> "They were black ants, and they were busy busy busy.  Mostly trying to pick apart an apple core.  Very exciting.  I made lots of notes."
<Gara> "Oh, I see. How big were the ants?"
<lurkd> Oko puts his fingers close together indicating length.  "Thiiisssss big."
<Gara> "Ah, I see."
<lurkd> "May I have another water?"
<Gara> "Of course!" She goes and gets him more water.
<lurkd> Oko pours some on his legs and drinks the rest.
<Gara> "I really have to find a way for you to do it on your own."
<lurkd> Oko is confused.  "Do what on my own?"
<Gara> "Get water." Oko is too short.
<lurkd> "Oh."  Oko laughs.  We should put a low spout on it then.
<Gara> "I'll ask Toki to get a stepping log."
<lurkd> "That will work too.  Is there a pond nearby?  Perhaps I could take a swim later on."
<Gara> "I don't know, actually."
<lurkd> "Ah well."
<NachtRuine> Speaking of Toki, he walks by, carrying his axe, going towards his usual chopping area.
<Gara> "Toki!"
<NachtRuine> Toki turns to face the source of the voice. "Hm? Oh, Alice. Whadya need?"
<Gara> "Can you get us a log of wood, about, uhhh... foot high, or so?"
<NachtRuine> "Aye, gimme a bit." Toki walks back to his chopping post and begins lopping off a section of an already felled tree.
<lurkd> "By the way... Toki, I found that recipe."  Oko pulls out a small piece of parchment with scribbles on it.
<NachtRuine> "Ah, wonderful. Lemme see it once I finish this up." He continues swinging away
<NachtRuine> With one last swing, he chops a foot-long section of wood off the trunk. "Got the chunk. Wha's it for?"
<Gara> "Stepping stool." SHe takes it, and sets it infront of a water barrel.
<Gara> If Oko were to stand on it, he could reach inside to get his own water.
<lurkd> Oko hops up and looks at the water.  "It works!"
<NachtRuine> "Ah, useful. Now I c'n get water instead of ale."
<lurkd> Oko scoops up a few cups of water and downs them. *gulp* *gulp*

<lurkd> Oko rustles up the parchment and hands it to Toki.
<NachtRuine> Toki reads said parchment as he takes it from Oko.
<lurkd> "Like I said, should be more simple to make than Earth milk."
