So Eden's Hamlet WAS some sort of sanctuary. That made Trystan feel a bit better about this unexpected journey. He was worried that they'd get there and it would be some metal shack or something in the middle of nowhere, making this all pointless. That realization filled him with determination. Maybe there was actually something to this... Reviver Protocol that he'd read about back in that lab. He looked at Mariella and wondered if she would truly be the one to save all of them.

"I cannot promise that your father will be there," She suddenly spoke, turning around and walking backwards presumably so Zoey could hear her clearly. "But I promise that I will get you to Eden. I promise that I'll save all of you." Trystan tilted his head. That was new. He didn't think she understood what a promise was.

"You promise?" She nodded and smiled and it was such a genuine thing that for a moment he was convinced that Mariella was human. Just... just what had Dr. Moira built?

"I do. I'll save all of you. It's what I'm programmed to do."

Inadvertently, he'd given Zoey's hand a gentle squeeze.

"You hear that, Zoey?" he beamed a bit as Mariella spun on her heels and pointed straight ahead. "Mariella's gonna save all of us."

If only he'd known what saving them would cost. Then... maybe he wouldn't have wanted to saved.
