This guide was made that you could follow it step by step and beat the game. The instructions should be explicit enough that anyone could follow and win.
- Check PDA for how many wins you have, then find that number in this guide.
- Next run, don't cheat for timed duels. That's the only reason I can think of as to why you're not King of Games following this guide.
- Look into how to get a 3rd Masked Man/Titan event, may be able to double DP.
- Considering not doing the Chazz event that puts you in Obelisk Blue. Skipping a test may waste unnecessary time. Dunno when to do Timed Duels though.

In Depth Guide
Get new rom
Name yourself A. Press A once you've entered the naming field, press enter, then press A again to finish.
Keep pressing A until you're asked to do tutorial, press listen.
Do Tutorial Level 7 #'s 3, 4 and 11. Once done, press B three times to exit out.
Press A Go to Sleep
On Saturday buy packs Basic 1-A to 2-B
Once out of the shop, press Enter for the PDA. DO NOT MANUALLY GO TO ROOM.
Scroll all the way to the right and go to Options.
Put animation to fastest setting, Simple Battle ON, Duel Direction OFF.
- Press right twice, down twice, left, down, right, then press the 'z' button.
Edit deck, go into deck mode
- Press left twice, press z, down, right, z, left twice, z.
Clear FIRE and WIND, deck order should be: 2. Water. 3. M 4. B 5. F 6. R 7. S
- Press z, right twice, then z twice. Scroll down to WIND, clear that. Press z, then right twice. Edit accordingly.
Scroll up and edit Water deck.
Face Banner 5 times. (5 wins)
Set up 3 duels with Syrus via mail. (8 wins)
Buy cards on Tuesday, on Saturday make necessary deck edits.
Face Banner 4 times, Syrus twice. (14)
Set up 3 duels with Syrus via mail. (17)
Buy cards, on Saturday make necessary deck edits.
You'll be told about the Battle exam and Timed Duels.
Face Syrus once more, then duel Chumley 5 times. (23)
Set up 2 duels with Chumley via mail, Jaden just 1. If necessary, make sure one of these duels takes place at Harbor. (26)
Buy cards.
Next is the exam. Try to lose the Duel part of the exam as quickly as possible.
Buy Sea Pack if viable. Edit your deck.
Face Jaden 3 more times. Meet Chazz & Bastion, and sleep in. (29)
If you haven't done it already, complete Water.dek and buy cards on a Saturday.
Do nothing for a week, then meet Fontaine. Talk to her in the evening to do the event. Starting with this duel, beat everyone as fast as possible rather than trying to get the most DP. Sleep in afterwards. (30 wins)
Keep sleeping in until Spells exam. Pass and become Fiery Duelist.
The very next morning, talk to Syrus to trigger Zane event. If that doesn't happen beat Chazz three times and try again tomorrow. Your ideal should be 4 wins on Chazz, 1 on Zane. (35)
You'll focus on Zane + Chazz until you can get 10 wins even between the both of them. Try to get 1-2 wins on Zane during the week through mail. (36)
Buy Fusions that Tuesday.
On Saturday & Sunday face Chazz as much as necessary to get to 10 Obelisk wins. (Check PDA until you have 40 wins total).
Buy Master Fusions Tuesday. Masked Man Event happens during the week. (41)
After Masked Man, do nothing for a week, then that next Saturday buy packs to make Machine.dek.
Once Machines is built, blow past everyone quickly. Pay attention to how many wins you get. (46)
- Pharaoh event & 10th Banner win, Chazz win, 2 on Crowler
You'll want to use mail to set up 10 different duels for Bastion in 1 week. (56)
Six more wins on the weekend. (62)
- 4 Crowler, 1 Jaden, 1 Fontaine.
Via mail, get to 7 total wins on Zane. (66)
If you do it in order, after you have maybe 6 wins on Crowler, start to talk to Chazz, then refuse to duel him. Do this 5 times.
- You'll probably get 1 or 2 wins this weekend. (1 Crowler) (67)
Eventually, New Year's Happens and you'll duel either Chumley, Syrus, or Jaden. Make sure to duel the other 2 that you don't get for the event, especially since this could make your 5th Jaden win. (68)
Unlock Blair that weekend. Diss Chazz to get up to 5 if necessary. Duel other 2 Silfer Red you didn't get in the event. (72).

New Deck Event happens. (73)
On the weekend, try to beat Blair morning & evening, and do Girls' Dorm Event at night. If you can't get Blair, duel Fontaine.
2 Blair, 3 for event (78)
If you can get the event, then duel Blair twice, then Masked Man at night.
- the ideal is (81 wins) by this point.
After your last duel on Sunday, make sure to set up 7 or 8 duels with Alexis. (88)
Get 10 wins on Blair, rest on Fontaine(4). (94)
- 4 on Blair, 1 Fontaine, 1 Crowler
Trap exam happens. Stay in Slifer.
- Switch back to Water.dek, and add as many Jar of Greed, T-Roar, Ruler, & Waboku as possible
Duel Fontaine only until Gerard unlocks. (98)

The very next Saturday after he unlocks, buy packs. 5 Gerard (108)
You most likely won't see Live Vehicles until the Saturday after that. So buy early next Saturday as well.
Once Gerard is finished, get all Times Duels done.
Do Burn Exam. You should improve to Shrewd or Elite Duelist. Go to Obelisk (different route than normal).
Zane messages you for event. Now look below...

On the evening & night, meet Torrey & Damon.
Get 3 wins between them that next Sunday. (I was unlucky, only got 2 Damon) (112)
You'll be spending every Tuesday for Expert & other packs.
During the week, Torrey Seance event happens. Agree to join, and immediately surrender. Afterwards, he'll accept you into his crew (the fuck?) and gives you Destiny Board.
Later that week, "Jinzo Takes Over" event happens and you get the fuck out of his weirdo cult thing.
Get 6 wins on he weekend. (118)
- 5 total Damon, 2 Torrey, 1 Crowler

Get 6 wins on the weekend. (124) (120 where u left off)
- 4 Damon, 2 Torrey
Duel only Torrey on the weekend. (128)
- 4 Torrey, get 1 more later.
The next exam you do is Fusions. Afterwards go to Ra Yellow.
The first thing to do is get 5 wins each on Beauregard and Brier. Once you do that, remember to trigger the event that night at Test Room. (130). - 1 each.
6 wins next weekend. (136)
- 4 Brier, 1 Beauregard, 1 Sartyr.
6 wins next weekend. Do Test Room event if possible. (142)
- 1 Dimitri, 4 Beauregard, 1 Brier
6 wins next weekend. Test Room event should happen if not already. (149) - 2 Sartyr, 3 Beauregard, 2 Brier
6 more wins, finish up Brier & Beauregard if possible. (155)

6 wins on weekend. Try to finish Sartyr, then focus on Dimitri. (163)

6 wins on the weekend. Duel Dimitri and get wins on people you don't have 10 on yet. (169)

6 wins, get up to 10 total wins on Dimitri if possible. (175)

- Set up 2 duels via mail on Jaden. (177)
Get as many wins on Fontaine as possible. (182)
Special summon exam happens. Stay in Yellow.

Sleep in until event happens.
You'll eventually run into the Damon event. (190)
Shortly after, Dimitri event happens. Surrender the duel. You skip test otherwise. (Plus, a dope ass cutscene!)

When banlist changes, switch Dust Tornado for Nobleman of Extermination.
When you get to 50% Written Exams, start buying packs to get to 100% cards.
I got Zane Walk Home. (192)
Make sure to buy Magician, Exodia, Beasts, and Insect packs before Dorothy's Gift.
Stay in Yellow until Fontaine tells you about Festival event. Next exam go to Slifer Red.
Sleep in. Buy packs Tuesday, then Diss Chazz event happens. (195)
Surrender Chazz event that puts you in Obelisk.
Chumley event happens. (196)
Let a week pass, then that Saturday buy packs to try to complete the game.
Festival happens, beat everyone & get Skyscraper.
Duel people until you have 10 wins on everyone. Use Fontaine to get you to 200 wins.
Tie up loose ends, duel the people you don't have 10 wins on.
When you have 200 wins & 60% Written Exams, you should be King of Games!
