- FUNDERDOME 2: REVENGE OF THE CHAINSAW!!!
- "Listen on! This is the truth of it.
- Fighting leads to killing, and killing gets to warring.
- And that was damn near the death of us all.
- Look at us now! Busted up, and everyone talking about hard rain!
- But we've learned, by the dust of them all! Bartertown learned.
- Now, when men get to fighting, it happens here! And it finishes here!
- Two men enter; one man leaves."
- The ultimate test of courage, skill, and strategy.
- Two confidant combatants enter the Funderdome, stand toe to toe,
- and throw everything they have at each other until one can no longer stand and fight.
- Only the victor shall walk out triumphant.
- The loser, well, how they walk out is up to how much they dare to risk,
- and how the victor allows them to walk out, if allowed to walk at all afterwards.
- Event takes place the last day plus of the normal round,
- starting Turn 7500.
- Attendance for the full event is not required,
- you get paired for matches when you are available.
- Event lasts until the normal round ends or everybody is exhausted.
- New combatants can sign up any time until the end of the event.
- Participants can be paired for matches in two ways.
- Combatants chosen at random can issue a challenge
- to any other combatant available at the time.
- Or, combatants can accept all challenges,
- fighting all comers until they have had their fill or are defeated.
- A watch party will be held on Discord during the event with domeside announcers,
- combatant interviews and RPs, and friendly chat. Also betting on matches!
- Combatants and spectators are all welcome. Though if you are that person
- who gets too drunk at the watch party you may be asked to leave.
- Two forms of combat in this event.
- BRA AND PANTIES MATCHES!
- The default match type. Animate spells only. No item spells or pet spells.
- The winner is the first combatant to force an animate TF on their opponent.
- Extra cheers are likely from the spectators for choosing a suitable form
- for your defeated opponent, whether to force them to walk out of the dome
- in a form that marks them as defeated by you or something suitably humiliating
- as they are forced to endure the stares of the entire town.
- Or they suffer such shame at their defeat that they have to rapidly revert to human,
- walking around in just their bra and panties (or boxers) signaling their total defeat.
- Or, ...
- TROPHY MATCHES!
- Inanimate spells allowed, items or pets.
- Animate spells usable as well if you would choose such a strategy.
- Only available if both combatants agree to it before the match.
- The winner is the combatant who makes their opponent their trophy,
- carried around triumphantly to demonstrate their superior combat skill.
- Whether that is having their fabric face squashed between the victor's thighs,
- led around on a leash behind the victor,
- turned into a trophy sword with the defeated mage's body posed lewdly as the hilt,
- or whatever the twisted mind of the victor comes up with.
- Defeated combatants will remain the trophies owned by the victor
- until the defeated player can revert to human, assuming they choose to do so,
- except in cases of a serious personal conflict as decided by event officials.
- Trophy matches count as the equivalent of three victories in Bra and Panties matches.
- Note that officials are not responsible for items, pets, or runes lost
- by defeated mages in a trophy match.
- If you don't want to risk losing something to the quick hands of a spectator
- a safe place to keep those items can be provided by officials before the match.
- Or, don't choose a trophy match.
- Anything you bring into a trophy match you should be prepared to potentially lose
- along with your animacy.
- Three winners will be awarded prizes at the end of the event.
- The combatant with the most victory points,
- 1 point for winning a Bra and Panties match
- and 3 points for winning a Trophy match,
- regardless of how many times they are defeated.
- The person who goes undefeated in the event,
- the undefeated combatant with the most points if there’s a tie.
- The person in the watch party who wins the most
- betting on matches. Everybody can make bets.
- Yay gambling!
- Rules for all matches.
- Those receiving a match challenge, or the lower level combatant in a paired match,
- have choice of combat stage for their match.
- Matches can take place in any location around town.
- Leaving the tile during a match results in an immediate loss.
- During the match officials will toss potentially useful items into the dome
- for whoever has the quicker fingers to grab it.
- Items can be anything from a vibrator, a fire fritter, a wizard's wand, or a chainsaw.
- Okay, probably not a chainsaw, unfortunately.
- But any consumable, reusable, or useful combat item could come out at any time.
- No Forced March or Take a Load Off.
- Weaken, Am I Bugging You, and curses are allowed if both combatants are PVP Mode or are friends.
- A PVP player and a P Mode player must add each other as friends before any match.
- If both players are P Mode and choose to add each other as friends they may use these spells.
- If the players are both P Mode and choose not to friend each other than only animate spells may be used.
- Removing somebody as a friend to stop their attacks,
- blacklisting someone if it will stop their attacks,
- or switching to SP mode to stop attacks results in the match being stopped.
- Any animate form may be used to start the match.
- Any items may be used before or during the match, except TP Scrolls.
- Any effects from searching may be picked up before the match.
- Searching during a match for items or effects is allowed.
- Matches will have defined start times to allow effects to be stacked however combatants wish.
- Combatants may cleanse, meditate, and search as much as their AP allows during a match.
- No buffs from other players going into a match,
- though friends may help you to get the animate form you want.
- No direct outside help during a match.
- Random spectators interfering should be expected.
- Interference that crosses the line or is too one-sided, as decided by the officials,
- can result in a match being stopped and redone later or a result undone.
