- +cabadejo __ Shadow belief is what it is. A shadow belief is a belief that is founded and formed on trust and proof's appearances. It is thus a belief that is not justified. *It is just the "shadow" of a justified belief.*
- What alternatives would you have preferred for that definition?
- There are always going to be some terms you like and some you dislike - even hate.
- *It is not possible to coin terms that will be liked by all people at all times and it is unwise to have multiple terms that refer to the same thing.*
- I did briefly consider the term "pseudo belief" but that implies the belief is "fake" or about something "fake". *I already refer to "small time news articles" that are [likely] BS as being "pseudo articles".*
- Such articles are thought of as being too insignificant for "them" to fabricate. And so no one (i.e., a "truther") would suspect the articles of being BS unless you were specifically looking for it.
- (I have written extensively about "pseudo articles" in the past.)
