  1. 1. How well did you work interpedently as a team?
  2. - Me and my group partner worked well together and did work off of each other’s strengths to complete this project. Wilson’s strengths lies in actual code writing and ironing out details to make sure the program works behind the scenes, while I do better on things like presentations, writing, and planning out structure and logistics of the program. It was a strong team effort to get the job done.
  3.
  4. 2. How often did you meet as a group? How productive were these meetings and how were major decisions made?
  5. - When the time came to work on the final project, Wilson and I ran into the issue that we were not always able to meet on a scheduled time. Wilson had surgery recently and was visiting the doctor or staying at home for the past few months, so we had to work around his schedule. Meetings were often productive, as we both wanted to stay focused. Major decisions were often made with discussions between us. We’d talk about which decision would be better and agree on them
  6.
  7. 3. How did you and the rest of the members work collaboratively to ensure everyone’s voice was heard? How did you use each person’s ideas and expertise to maximum advantage?
  8. - It was not difficult to ensure that voices were heard, since there was only two of us. If either of us had an idea, we would discuss it and if it was a good and realistic idea, we would try to implement it. Decisions always came down to whether or not we believe it would be addition that would improve the program.
  9.
  10. 4. Were you able to form positive relationships with the rest of the members while working on this project?
  11. - Wilson and I were already friends before working on this project together, so it was not exactly forming a new relationship. Working together on such a big task however did help improve our teamwork skills and synergy together.
  12.
  13. 5. What digital tools di you use to help with collaboration?
  14. - The main tool we used to communicate was Discord, a voice chat service that we commonly used from before the final project. We had also used google drive so that we both could be working on the proposal presentation and other pieces of writing at the same time.
  15.
  16. 6. 6. How did you handle differences in viewpoints? Were there any problems or conflicts between the group members? How were these issues resolved?
  17. - As mentioned before, any differing viewpoints would be discussed. Both of us were very open minded for every suggestion, and considered them all before deciding to turn them down. There were hardly any notable problems or conflicts between us.
  18. 7. What did you learn from the final project? How would you work differently?
  19. - I learned that time management is very important, and that plans do not always work out as expected. Unexpected things can pop up and really mess up the plan, and that’s just something you have to deal with. If I were to do this project differently, I would have definitely accommodated the work load that we were not prepared for. We would have put more hours in when we could.
  20.
  21. 8. Did you succeed in creating an application that solves a real-world problem? What are the next steps? Do you have any plans to take this project further?
  22. - I believe the project did result in a very good application that does have its uses in the real world. While it is not fully tuned to be a real application in an actual workplace, it is definitely on its way there and could very well be with more work put into it. Its next steps are definitely polishing some of the features, and make it much more intuitive for the user. We had spent a lot of time on this single project already, so I would like to move away from this specific project and start something new and refreshing.
