Fleur Testing Reno's Resolve

Fleur Sanctum says, "Reno follow me."
[22:29] Anikos Cirillo says, "Fleur."
[22:30] Fleur Sanctum asks, "Hm?"
[22:30] Anikos Cirillo says, "Stay safe, yeah? I worry about you."
[22:30] Reno exclaims, "Alright---Hey, Ammeres, Miki. I have to go! Take care!"
[22:30] Fleur Sanctum says, "I love you too Anikos."
[22:30] Ammeres Altin says, "Sure! Take care."
[22:31] Reno says, "Fleur. Or... Priestest Fleur right? How do I address you---That's not important. But I've learned much from your comrade."
[22:31] Fleur Sanctum says, "Call me Fleur."
[22:31] Fleur Sanctum says, "That is all."
[22:31] Reno asks, "Fleur it is. ---Did you bring me here for another match?"
[22:31] Fleur Sanctum says, "Show me your resolve."
[22:31] Fleur Sanctum says, "Show me what drives you."

[22:42] Reno tapped his chest lightly. "My own humanity. It's nothing short of it." The young teen then got into an offensive stance. The Iron Fist, with the added touch of only his support magic, the magic of Time, and his struggles to obtain the Chronos Aura.

"It's incomplete, but I'm working towards a perfect support for us who cherish just that. . . But I must make this clear. I do not hate magic, not any more, but I will never step too far away from my own human blood."

He spreads his legs apart evenly. Reno then throws a few practice jabs. "Meeting you was probably the best thing to happen since sliced bread. Because I've been exposed to so many other magi. It only makes me want to grow as a human even more." Reno was not calling Fleur an In-human. Not in any way, but he valued his roots greatly. So much so, that he was willing to weaken himself.

"It's for the commoners. They brought me up. They cannotdo the things most magi can do. We're only a very small percent. And the rest of them? The other 98 percent? They are fodder in the eyes of kings while magi are gold. That is my resolve, the people, not my pride or anything in order to obtain a great power... All I desire is Wisdom, it's humanities greatest gift and with it, I will gain the ability to fight magi, no matter how powerful."

It was a mouthful, but, Reno had to explain himself clearly. Probably not in the best of ways. However, there would be no other route... He limited himself to certain abilities. Only those that will be most accessible to the common man.

[22:48] She let closed her eyes once and began the process slowly. Hearing of Reno's resolve to fight for what he believes helps ignite Fleur's fighting spirit.

She started by releasing a burst of Holy Magic from her body vibrantly flourishing. The very essence of her will to protect. Now ever present she moved in to her next focus.

Fleur then communed briefly with her star Biblos - The North Star. Allowing her self a surge of Cosmic Energy coursing throughout her mana circuits. She then smiled heading into her last focus.

Lastly she began to focus on the light around them as it began to draw towards Fleur's form illuminating her very visage. Now a shining beacon of light to those who would look she readied her blade and faced Reno with a serious expression.

She was ready.

"Let us begin."

She stated.

[22:50] Smiling at her friend and his comment on the matter.

"Round two?"

[22:50] Reno exclaims, "Of course!"
[22:55] Akiko was watching.

[22:56] Reno... Despite his best efforts. He was unable to act quick enough in order to avoid all that was coming. Sure, he could foresee a possible future. It was the only reason he may have been able to land hits on Fleur, but those taps were nothing in comparison. And because of his vow, his weakened state against such magic.

He fell, and the attempt to properly utilize the advance time aura failed. His grasp on the Chronos aura was not enough to utilize it in battle. But, he stood, even as he fell from defeat. He stood because that's exactly what their ancestor's did. "I'm sure, there are words for this. But, where would we really be today? If a Non-Magi ignored the gifts of a higher power?"

Reno referred to the weapons and the many towns created by those of a lesser more common power. "I will take a thousand beatings a day, if it means that I'll one day learn to avoid your area spells... And defeat someone as strong, or stronger than you." He smiled at Fleur.

"You're powerful. And that's a masterpiece. Valued hidden human wisdom."

[22:56] Akiko 's ears flick before glancing up.
(Akiko)

[22:56] Akiko says, "O-oh.."
[22:59] Hearing more of Reno's will to do that which was more dear to him. She could only smile at her friend. She wished more people that same the passion as like Reno and she did, but it was a fleeting dream.

"Thank you Reno, for reminding me why I fight for what I believe in."

[23:01] Taking note and thinking to himself... That now, at his current state... Fleur could probably take on twenty of Reno. But, one day, those numbers will drop, and it will soon be Reno, asking how many Fleur could he take on. It was a dream, a goal, but most importantly. Something that made him move forward.
