uh - we did have a time, date and 2 location options...actually 3....the reason we cant find anything that suits everyone, is becasue you wont consider any other dates/times/locations......also, this issue is not about being busy, we never said that at all...?  nobody said anything about being busy. those are your words, not ours. .....we could still get together, but you don't want to consider any other dates times, and can't explain why the recital day is not an option, with no real reason, we wouldn't go out to eat for a normal recital...

this is not about anyones schedule or availability (why does this keep being addressed?)...yeah, there will be an elephant in the room for thanksgiving too...why cant we find a solution? ... no it wouldn't be a great time, which is why we have offered 2 ideas, but have been told both are simply not an option for consideration...so....

No, these events are not a formality, as it seems you think they are - if they do not go your way.  I dont remember the mothers day issue, if you had a problem at that time, you should have brought it up, otherwise, why are you bringing it up NOW?  ... again, this is not a schedule issue, as you seem to continue making it seem? we still havent said we are too busy, we offered 2 ideas, come the fuck on....what is a chore is dealing with you being upset for having to become flexible...that is a chore.

We do enjoy getting together, thought you did too?  Yes - we are busy - but that is not what is at issue here.  Planning is hard becasue, everyone is busy and you refuse to do anything outside of your house...lunch in omaha, we can be there most every fucking saturda (which we have said).

Bro - you can't just think that thanksgiving isnt in the same position as this birthday thing ... like - the same reason you don't want to have the birthday, is the same problem we have with thanksgiving now.....so....cant just ignore that, simply because its thanksgiving....

We do have a good time when we get together....it's only a chore if someone makes it that way....in this situation, we provided 2 ideas and were told they are not an option at all, and the only option is your way or the highway - your way of this email twisting the whole situation into some sob story about how familiy is important and the value of getting together...yeah, we all know that....the issue here is you refusing to budge on anything...you asked us for alternative ideas, and refused all of them.
