An X-Com joke

A ninja, a zombie and a sectopod walk into a bar.

The bartender says that he will give free drinks to whoever can prove their technique to be superior at killing X-Com soldiers.
All three agree to the challenge.
The bartender turns on his futuristic VR set and plays as X-Com trying to counteract whatever they attempt to do.

Zombie shrieks loudly and now there are 10 zombies.
And all of them chant, "We are many. We can overwhelm X-Com with sheer numbers and when we die, a chryssalid is born to make more of us."
But the bartender just puts on a flying suit and defeats Zombie.
The bartender says then, "But you can't hit what's above you."

Ninja blends in with the environment and sneaks up on the bartender and throws a whole bunch of throwing knives, killing one of X-Com units.
But the soldier is a rookie-scout posted just to attract fire.
The bartender shoots with a rocket launcher at the rookie's corpse and kills off the ninja.
The bartender says wisely, "Once your position is discovered, the rest is done by splash damage. But at least you can kill people occasionally."

And then comes in the Sectopod.
The bartender shoots the sectopod, but it just barely scratches it.
Sectopod says, "My armor is the best and my weapon can waste anyone."
And then Sectopods shoots at X-Com and kills 4 soldiers in one go.
The bartender says excitedly, "Impressive! But you forgot one thing..."
Sectopod is confused.

Then the bartender says just those words.
"Power that is"
"Seriously"
"Imbalanced"

And takes control of the sectopod with a psi-unit. Sectopod admits defeat.

The bartender ends his turn and one of the rookies accidentally fires a rocket launcher killing most of the team while trying to hit the sectopod.
The bartender cheerfully announces that he has won free drinks.
And says,  "There is no escape from the enemy within"

A shy ethereal commander walks into a bar somewhat nervous.
Upon seeing X-Com they get spooked.

The bar is no more.
Everyone is dead.
