  1. Tea with Templar:
  2. (On a cold rainy day in London, Misty finds her self outside of Temple Hall, at a glance nothing appears to be out of the ordinary, agents are coming and going guards are patrolling the grounds and no one seems to have noticed Misty. Unsure where to go she approaches one of the guards and asks for the office of Lord Adme Worth, the guard looks shocked at the request but politely directs her to an office on the top floor of Temple Hall. The office itself seems to be older than most of temple hall, the doors are covered in medieval carvings and a pair of rusted iron rings for door knobs and the entire floor seems to smell of old wood and moth balls. Misty knocks at the door and is invited in by a man with a deep english accent. The inside of the office seems even older than the outside, the walls are covered in antique books and in the center of the office is a pair of victorian sofas and a table on which is a delicate looking tea set and a plate of cookies. behind the sofa, in front of a window overlooking the courtyard is a old ornately carved desk and behind it is a tall, slender, broad-shouldered man in his late fifties. His head is topped by a thick white crew cut and his face is covered in a gray 5 o’clock shadow, his eyes are a piercing, almost supernatural blue. Even seated he has a very powerful and some what intimidating presence.)
  3. Worth: (standing) My apologies for not greeting you at the entrance my dear, I had to attend to some paper work, but I have finished and can join you for tea. Please have a seat. (Worth seats himself on the sofa opposite Misty and pours her a cup of tea,) I hope you don't mind but Dr. West expressed an interest in joining us later, so we may be interrupted about half way through. So how have you been my dear, have you settled into London yet?
  4. Misty:(Misty wraps herself in her white sweater and follows the guard’s instructions on how to reach the office. As an employee at Temple Hall she is familiar with the more common buildings and appears particularly interested in this floor of the Temple Hall, having never seen it before. A few guards may smile or nod at her in greeting but she is otherwise unbothered and probably unnoticed. The young woman is tiny, both in weight and height, and walks down the halls with her head hanging low. Her stomach seems to twist and turn with her nerves and her already cool palms feel somewhat clammy. Before entering Misty takes a deep breath and then opens the large doors. Lord Worth may notice that she leaves one door open by a few feet and, if a guard tried to close it, would mumble something about preferring it to remain the way she had it.) Thank you for meeting with me. T-This is a lovely office. I’ve never actually been any higher than the first floor.
  5. (Misty smiles a nervous sort of grin and takes a seat on the sofa after brushing down the loose skirt to her sundress. As she sits she begins to brush at the wrinkles again and seems particularly cautious about allow the hem to rise near her knees.) I don’t believe I’ve met Dr. West… Are they a friend of yours?
  6. Worth: She is the head of our research and development department and the one who brought you to my attention, though she is finishing up an experiment today, so she will only be here for about half an hour. As to the office not many agents like to have their offices up here anymore, They demand things like the internet and air conditioning but I find these halls have a certain charm to them don't you think. (Worth puts a leg over his knee and takes a sip of tea.) Now I believe you said on the twitter that you wanted to know more about the man behind Third Sunday is that correct?
  7. Misty: (Seems to grow increasingly nervous at the explanation of the doctor and the mention of experiments, however she continues doing her best to smile politely and nod in acknowledgment.) May I ask why she did that? Brought me to your attention, I mean.. (A pause) And… I suppose I did. I mean do. Yes. I’d like to know more about you, if you’re comfortable sharing with me. I’ve been seeing some things on Twitter that are troubling and, well, I just thought it would be better to find the answers myself than believe everything everyone tells me.
  8. Worth: Of course dear, you may ask me anything you wish, as to why Dr. West brought you to my attention, it is because she was intrigued by the way the bees were behaving around you or more accurately the reports of the way the bees are behaving around you. (settles into the sofa.)
  9. Misty: (Emote looks at her tea thoughtfully but does not drink it. Instead she folds her pale hands neatly on her lap and nods her head once.) I see. Well, like I said on Twitter I don’t know much about the bees. I… Have my suspicions about why they behave the way they do but it’s nothing that would be particularly interesting to anyone but myself.
  10. Worth: Dr. West would beg to differ, she seem to believe that you have great potential if properly trained and at the very least your ability to travel among the bees will cut down on time spent at airports.
  11. Misty: Well… The, um, guy in Agartha. The one in the uniform near the robots? (Misty reaches up to brush her bleached hair behind her ears.) He said that I was free to pass through but that I couldn’t linger. And that I should be wary of which branches I went on and that some might not be accessible to me.
  12. Worth: He is mistaken about that, of course he never was very observant, even when he was young. Because the bees ignore you, you can move about agartha freely, of course you may also have trouble finding your way back, They tend to confine newcomers to certain branches but the more time you spend in Agartha the more freedom they give you.
  13. Misty: (Shrugs her narrow shoulders at that and gives Lord Worth a thoughtful look, her brown doe eyes swimming with secrets.) I don’t think it’s a good idea that I spend more time there than necessary.
  14. Worth: Of course dear, there are other ways to travel, I myself don't care for the smell of honey and often seek alternative methods of transportation. (refilling his cup and taking another sip) there are also biscuits if you’d like, granted they are not homemade but the baker down the street does good work. (offers her a cookie)
  15. Misty: (Smiles softly and mumbles a ‘thank you’ as she accepts the cookie. The frail girl does not make any attempt to eat it though and by the looks of her this is her regular behavior…) So why did the way the bees are behaving, even if it’s unusual, interest you so much?
  16. Worth: We have an on going programme of exploration in Agartha, there are parts of the third age we can't observe and we would be interested in seeing if you could. there is also a great many things that we would like to know about the roots of the world tree but the bees guard that part of agartha very closely. So the short answer to your question is we feel that you may be able to help us.
  17. Misty: O-Oh! Well, I wasn’t expecting… Well, I would be happy to help with what I could I suppose.
  18. Worth: Wonderful, are most pressing project is exploring the roots of the world tree, one of the things we would like you to start with is taking one of these mounted displays, I believe you call them google glass nowadays and simply seeing what you can. Of course you will not go uncompensated, (gets up and goes to his desk, from the top drawer he retrieves a leather bag of gold coins and hands them to Misty.)
  19. Misty: (Blinks at the pouch of gold coins as they are dropped into her delicate hands.) Forgive me, Lord Worth, but I’m not sure what to make of this. This is all really sudden and I’m not even sure I could go to the roots if I wanted to. And these… (She holds up the leather pouch) I don’t really… I mean I’m honored but I’m just so unsure about it all. I hope I’ve not offended you.
  20. Worth: not at all, I assume you have questions you want answered and it will take some time to identify particular sites we want investigated, so please take your time and...Ahhh Dr. West so nice of you to join us. (A short slender woman in her early 50’s enters the room. She is wearing a white lab coat and gray skirt, her hair is up in a gray bun and her eyes instantly find Misty on the sofa.)
  21. Dr. West: A pleasure to see you again Lord Worth and this must be Misty, how are you dear. (She greets misty warmly but her voice has a cold clinical undertone to it, the same kind a nurse uses before a painful procedure.)
  22. Misty: (Eyes the woman in the lab coat with a wary expression and instinctively crosses her arms over her torso protectively.) It’s nice to meet you. I’m well, thank you. (Misty does not move from her seat. Instead she studies Dr. West with a level stare.)
  23. Dr. West: (gently smiles at misty and places a hand on her knee) I know about your experience at Sub Rosa dear, truly a dreadful thing, but not all Doctors are alike and I mean you know harm.
  24. Worth: Leave the poor girl be Helen, she is only here to talk.
  25. Misty: (Scoots further down the couch and away from Dr. West’s hand.) Please, don’t touch me. (An awkward silence ensues and Misty politely adds.) Thank you. And I didn’t mean to give you the impression that I thought you meant me harm.
  26. Dr. West: its alright, anyone who has gone through what you have would behave the same way, Adam you have neglected to offer me tea.
  27. Worth: (grinds his teeth and pours Dr. West a cup of tea) Would you mind answering some questions for Dr. West Misty? the reports neglected some details that she is curious about.
  28. Misty: Of course, I came here for answers on both of our parts. Y-You may ask what you’d like.
  29. Dr. West: Can you tell me about your family history, do you have any relatives with either schizophrenia or autism spectrum disorder?
  30. Misty:My family history? It’s… Normal? I mean I think there is heart disease on my dad’s side, but… (Misty clears her throat and looks around the room nervously) No mental disease or anything.
  31. Dr. West: What about your dreams do you ever have nightmares of being in space or in a place thats on fire? what about frozen wastelands?
  32. Misty: I have had dreams about fire but-but I think everyone has. No to space, and I don’t think… Well yes maybe frozen wastelands. (Misty seems to be pondering it for a moment, answering each question like some sort of job interview.)
  33. Dr. West: (a smile begins to spread across her face as Misty answers) Adam are those cookies from the Eldwick bakery down the street? I’m very fond of that shop, may I have a few?
  34. Worth: (his hand holding his cup and saucer begins to shake as he offers her a cookie)
  35. Dr. West: Thank you Adam, Misty have you ever tried any kind of meditation?
  36. Misty: Yes. I used to meditate a lot, it helped with the visions usually. (Another shrug.)
  37. Dr. West: (walking over to one of the books one the wall, she picks up a red leather bound volume and gives it to misty)the knights templar use to have a sort of meditative prayer that they would use to induce astral projection, I think you may be capable of using this ability, why don't you take this with you and read up on it a bit.
  38. Worth: Helen don't you think you should ask before lending out my things. (said between clenched teeth)
  39. Dr. West: you mean the templars things Adam, and misty will take good care of it won't you dear.
  40. Misty: (Accepts the book with two hands and nods at the woman.) If you don’t mind lending it to me, Lord Worth, I could read it. I have a lot of time at night.
  41. Dr. West: (slyly smiling at Worth)
  42. Worth: Not at all my dear, but please be careful with it, it is older than I am. (setting his tea down on the table he pulls a pocket watch out of his coat and checks the time.) I’m afraid I and Dr. West must be going Misty my dear, would you like to walk us out?
  43. Misty: (Sets her still full cup and her cookie down and stands up with a brush of her hands on her skirt.) Yes, thank you for meeting with me. (She’d follow them out and down the stairs silently, giving another goodbye before heading towards another back hallway of the Hall with the assurance of needing to pick up some of her work things.)
