With his left hand, 17 lifted the tons of mountain structure into the air and then violently launched it straight up. With his other hand, he released an invisible kiai that accelerated it rapidly, sending it on an escape trajectory into space. A strong breeze of cool northern air swept into the lab, sending notes and design schematics all over the floor.
