- Now that he finished talking with the stranger that continued to praise his son somewhat, Edgar decided to leave the town of Nostvale. Not just because he got bored or anything, but because he knew it wouldn't lead him anywhere. He left New Alteros to get a bit of adventuring and such going, not to just move to the next town and sit on their bench. On top of that, the man could make sure things were safe where his son would most likely travel. There was no secret in knowing that there'd been rebels all about, wherever they were, he knew they'd been out there. Let it be the swamps, the desert, or even the Wychwood's, they were somewhere around.
- With Edgar's venture taking him through grasslands and the scorching desert, after a while he finally made his way into something thats been talked about quite a bit, the Wychwood forest! Such a place being more beatiful than the forestry out near Bygonegrove, it was simply amazing. "I wonder if this is because of agriculture, or if that fox god or whatever actually did come to bless this place." Edgar would say out loud, mainly just pondering the possibilities. As he began to walk about the forest though, soon he'd hear it. The screams!
- "Azrael?" he'd raise a brow, such words heard and now he wanting to actually check out what was going on. Had his son made it this far and began to scream Azrael's name for how long he came, or was this something else? The man didn't know until he'd actually arrived, there then being a woman on the ground, Oscuri woman, with a broken arm and hand along with another man leaned against his spear only to look down upon her.
- "Oh Azrael." he'd state, seeming shocked for the time being just before an expression of anger was seen as he began to focus on Kilanjo. "Your best bet, dog, of actually getting away from me at this point is if you tell me this woman just fell out of a tree and broke her arm and hand...Though, i'm doubting such is possible, ya?" He began to step closer, now crossing his arms as he'd go on. Soon looking up at the sky and laughing, ley lines glowing bright green as he gave the man a chance "Please, in Azrael's name, tell me this wasn't some sort of...some sort of..." he acted as if he were confused or baffled for a minute "Hate crime, is it?"
- (Edgar Kyros)
- Why is it that everytime I come here something crazy is happening? Why , why , why? I am not a hero. This is out of my league. Don't be stupid Aziza stay behind the bush. Wait, I know she tried to kill me but, as my elders say, I am fated to journey hand in hand with my strange heroes and to survey the surging immensity of life, to survey it through the laughter that all can see and through the tears unseen and unknown by anyone.
- She started to reviel herself but stopped and lightly ducked behind then bush agai seeing another man appear. Now who was he? She felt the intensity of there presense. She knew she was out of her league now. Though now she didn't want to just Tulise there without healing her.
- Ok come on stop being affraid. Heroes are made by the paths they choose, not the powers they are graced with. Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. . .I'm probably about to suffer a lot too.
- She would step out from her hiding place with her hood over her head and one goal. To heal Tulise.
- (Aziza Malakia)
- Well, that sounded like screaming. Time to investigate. The Drakanite had been travelling through the woodlands back to the Dojo before he heard the shrill screams as well as the shouting of Azrael's name. Sounds like an Oscuri was getting beaten up.
- He came upon the Ookami and the urayan surrounding a beaten Oscuri with a soulless Oscuri sitting behind it. Threats were being exchanged. He gave a small laugh as he appeared out of the woods.
- "Hate crime? Boy, this coming from an Oscuri...The ones who destroyed the Drakanite Homeland, killed, maimed and hunted down each and every single one of us you could find? Hilarious. And then there's the issue with the ookami here being treated even worse than second class citizens. And the Urayans cannot practise their faith without fear of execution."
- He spoke with a grim outlook on things as he stood by the group. "At this point it's less of a hate crime and simply trying to fight off the hate crimes against us. So, why don't you limp off with this girl before i have to show you what your people did to my home...From a hundred feet in the air."
- (Fionntán Embeyrin)
- It would seem as if the scenario was getting serious. Another Oscuri would appear from the underbrush of the woods and so would a woman who hinted holyness. Then another would appear outwards towards the entire group and seem to make a killer impression on the Oscuri male. Which Kilanjo couldn't help but smirk on that remark.
- He turned towards the Drakanite, turning his back on Edgar on purpose as he would take in the entire stature of the Drakanite. Gazing the lad from head to toe as he tried to see how intimidating the man was. His facial features were hard and solid as he had a greatsword on his back which only few could wield. Kilanjo isn't even strong enough to wield such a weapon. Which made Kilanjo understand his strength, he then wondered if the Drakanite was in league with his uncle Kidoku. But that was a quesiton to ask for another day. So with a brief nod. He would around to face Edgar. Only to stop as he noticed the woman come running in towards the two, making a bee-line straight for the broken woman who laid infront of him.
- Taking his spear out of the ground and stabbing it in the ground between the two of them. He would say in a low tone.
- " I understand that your trying to help. But do you really want to save someone who murdered a child, a house wife, and a father for no other reason than not worshipping their god?"
- " Let that sink in, then decide. If you want to do so afterwards. I won't stop you" he said as he pulled his spear away from the both of them. Giving Aziza the space she needed to reach the broken Oscuri.
- He would then turn around and face Edgar, narrowing his eyes on him without saying a word. Kilanjo would let the male Oscuri gather the broken one in flee. But if he had other plans. The Ookami would surely join arms with the Drakanite to take down such a creature.
- (Kilanjo)
- The eyes of Tulisa would have been solely locked upon the newly arrived Oscuri, Edgar Kyros. Almost seemed like that of a glare, but perhaps it was simply the fury of the battle, mixed in with high doses of adrenaline alongside Rieka. Laying upon the ground, the Oscuri woman could only stare at him, without making much movement herself now, her voice barely audible... yet she still smirked.
- "IT WAS IN THE NAME OF AZRAEL, MY KIN!" she would suddenly yell, beginning to squirmish yet again, blood continuously rolling from his back claw wounds. "THEY REFUSED THE WILL OF AZRAEL, AND THEY HAD NO TRUE POTENTIAL TO SERVE THE MORNING LORD, AS THEY WERE NON-MAGI! IN THE NAME OF AZRAEL, I HAD ASSASSINATED THE INFIDELS..."
- "I HAD RAINED WRATH UPON THOSE FOUL HEATHENS, UTILISING THE BLESSINGS OF RIEKA THAT HAD BEEN BESTOWED AND ENGRAINED UPON MY BODY, A CALLING UPON MY SOUL, IN THE NAME OF AZRAEL I HAD DONE THIS!"
- A loud gasp.
- "DEMONSTRATE THE PROWESS GIVEN TO YOU BY THE MORNING LORD!"
- (Tulisa Mozingo)
- Edgar's eyes began to move around soon after, staring as others now began to make their way from the depths of the forest. Friends? No no...Maybe they were just passing by just as Edgar had been? Such made sense and could be possible of course. Ya, if that was the case then Edgar could understand, but now it was becoming a troubling situation as Fionntan began to speak about a few things he was obviously upset over. Edgar would just stare though, what maybe seemed like some sort of 'vicious' acts to them had just been the work of Azrael to this man. Nothing more than steps needed to help free Azrael.
- They just weren't educated.
- Maybe even for people like this, the church could be built. People with obvious malice within the eyes could come and learn at his church, and figure out the true meaning and purpose of Azrael! Though, the church wasn't finished, and he had to deal with things like this instead. "I see, so you're a survivor then?" He'd question fionntan just before looking over at Kilanjo as he began to also hear what was probably this mans own experiences and such in his life. In all, it had been the same as Fionntan's. They were humans that hadn't grasped the very concept of the morninglord, the greatness he could bring! No problem, he could teach them!
- With such a thought in mind, he soon looked to the ground as the injured Oscuri began to shout at the top of their lungs. He seemed...surprised...Surprised that they were still shouting honestly. He'd hold out a hand to her "Calm, calm...Please..." chuckling some afterwards and then looking up at the three as he stepped closer once more, a hand reaching behind himself as he grabbed ahold of his sword and pulled it forward. The gigantic blunt thing soon hitting the ground as Edgar began to speak more. "It's hard to teach the very will of Azrael to those that only see one side of its power, I understand such. Though, I am willing to teach the uneducated of course! To help you understand how -great- immortality and never feeling or knowing what pain is ever again!" he'd smile widely at them then, stepping a bit closer once more just before his eyes and leylines could be seen once more giving off the bright green light as rieka continued to pump through his being.
- "So make your choice of course. Come with me to either learn, and to make amends for your savage sins here, or..." he was the whole 'intimidating with words' type honestly, so he'd simply say "Else."
- (Edgar Kyros)
- Aziza was unsure about the situation she didn't want to fight, especially this guy. Though he was an oscuri. The history between his kind and her own kind was a very rough and blood one. He wasn't like the oscuri she has met so far. Edgar seemed different but in a dangerous way. He seemed tamed but tamed by his own power and will not the overwhelming desires or emotions of oscuri. She kept her eyes on him as she slowly and cautously approuch Tulisa. Her heart was beating quickly . She didn't rust ayone near by except Fion. He confidence was up a little more with him near by.
- She lightly kneeled down next to Tulisa as a ball of the intense and blessed mana appeared. " I'm not like them , I'm not like you. I know who she is and what she does. I have fought her myself before. I'm not even healing her into fighting condition but just enough to let her live. You know why? Cause if I believe she deserved to die what makes me different from her when her faith in Azreal tells her I deserve to die? I-I want to kill her. . .I really do but thats not who I want to be. None of us deserve the right to judge who lives. I doubt you're pure in anyway." She said just barely healing the girl but only enough to heal any damage to her bones or wounds that could get infected but before she could heal any deeper than that she would timidly step back next to Fion as Edgar stepped forward with his blade.
- She could feel the presence of his pride almost radiating off of him. How strong their blind faith went was intimidating. She would turn to Fion with a simple question. "What are going to do?" She asked standing ready at his side.
- (Aziza Malakia)
- "Someone mind shutting her up...?" He ased, holding a single ear as the wounded Oscuri woman screamed at the top of her lungs. He really had no sympathy for her. Killing a family in the name of a god. There was no`way he could feel empathy for the pain she was in.
- his one eye fell on the son of Kyros whom was now trying to get them to convert to the Azraelite faith. "Yes, i'm a survivor. I've had to watch my own parents be dragged off by Bulwark soldiers to be killed for having an opposing faith. You can take your God and shove it."
- He'd register the nudge but wouldn't look at the Urayan. "Well, i'm not going with him and i doubt you want to be converted either so..." He reaches around to slowly lift the massive greatsword he had nicknamed "The core of Dragon's peak" free from his back before allowing the blade to rest against the ground as the heat of it burnt a vibrant red.
- "I feel like we should probably punish the true sinner here."
- (Fionntán Embeyrin)
- " I guess everyone made up there mind huh?"
- Kilanjo would say as he placed his spear upon his back.
- One of them were going to fall today, and if that was going to be the case. He might aswell try out his new weapon.
- Reaching within his cloak. He reached in and grabbed the sword that he took from Yuni. It was wrapped in cloth to prevent anything happening to him. But he felt that he was ready to take it on. With his yokai amulet hanging by his neck. Dark energy started to flow from within his amulet and cover the surrounding area as Kilanjo unraveled the cloth from the blade that he was hiding.
- Grabbing the hilt of the very blade that he wielded. He would pull it out and remove it from it's scabbard. Doing so would release immeanse depravity which flowed through the atmosphere like an air born disease.
- Kilanjo's eyes grew wide at the immeanse power that the weapon had contained as it surrounded him and covered him in it's presence. But it wouldn't be long before Kilanjo found himself unable to let go of the weapon as he tried to drop it.
- " Well then. . . . " he mummered as he used the scabbard of the Mammon's Nail to hit Tulisa over the head. Causing her to pass out for a long duration. Unless something huge was going to wake her up.
- Kilanjo would then appear by Fionntan's side with his blade in hand.
- " I may not be a Drakanite, but we have the same goal in mind. Shall we work together to take down the same foe?" he said with a sadistic smile
- (Kilanjo)
- Fionn'tan held the blade loosely by its hilt as the man's mana started to lift the very earth beneath him to rise up to surround him in a coat of dirt, rock and magma that pulsed with his Mana.
- "Gladly." He spoke to the Ookami.
- While the others started to brace themselves for the fight, Fionn'tan rolled his shoulders before lifting up the hilt in both arms as his mana pumped through his veins, swelling up his muscles as he let out a roar as he leaps froward through the air with the blade.
- He came crashing down, missing but causing the ground to shake from the impact as he attempted to make himself a large enough target for the Urayan and Ookami to deliver the first set of blows.
- "Going to make you suffer just as me, my family, my friends and everyone in Frostvale suffered.!" He screamed out as his blade was swung about in heavy, slow swings looking to take a chunk out of the Oscuri.
- (Fionntán Embeyrin)
- It would seem that the three of them would come to a mutual agreement as Kilanjo joined the other two to fight against Edgar.
- Wind violently tore at the air as the Ookami called it to his aid to assist the group to go against the Oscuri. It had been a while since Kilanjo had ever teamed up with such a random team before. If anything. A team. Up until this point he had always fought alone, never needed help or wanted it. But going against Oscuri's. He knew to watch out for them. As they all were a tricky bunch. They had the power to shut off the mana circuits of a person's body with a smile touch. That itself was scary in it's on sense.
- So Kilanjo made sure to keep his distance as he darted around the battle field. Stirking in and out. Coming in for an attack and side stepping away when Edgar did. Even though at the beginning he took a full wave to the face of fire. He felt his fur had been burned off slightly. It was crazy. But even his clothes had burnt marks in them. So it said something.
- With an annoying grin. It would seem that the three of them had gained the advantage as they managed to distance themselves from Edgar, and the Oscuri himself had seemed a bit exhausted from their first bout. So maybe. Just maybe. They could come on top, and win.
- "I'll show you that your morning lord is nothing in comparision to Saekanis! " he growled as his eyes had become full with the vision of killing. His sadistic smile returned to his face as he edged closer towards Edgar. Getting ready to go at their bout again
- (Kilanjo)
- Aziza always some how always ended up in these situations. Though it came with the job. Being an Urayan in a world almost run by Oscuri was a big responsibility. She had taken her place by placing her hands together and whispering prayers to herself. Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its Godly grace, because every second of the search is a second's encounter with the Gods and with eternity.
- As her prayers finished her sacred power was intense and now raident. It erupted off of her body chiming and shinning intensly. She created a construct from her sacred power in the shape of a sword though it was purely for defense while she focused on healing either the ookami or Fion. They were the main front so she couldn't let them drop. If they went down it was an automatic loss for them cause she was hardly a fighter. Heal and get cheat shots when he's occupied was the strategy. Marble fist and tsunami's of Sacred water is how she was able to keep up. Out side of that there wasn't much else she could do.
- (Aziza Malakia)
- Edgar began to move around quickly, sword brought upwards along with fire magic suddenly being conjured and tossed at the lot. Oh how fun this was! Edgar continued his assualt, sending fire and earth magic at the lot as well as continuing to go close to them whenever he could in order to take them out. Such wasn't proving to be very useful though. For one, it seemed like there'd been someone capable of actually restoring strength to the two warriors, Aziza. Their extreme use of holy magic gave the two new strength, and with attacks coming from all sides Edgar found it harder to actually fend off all three of them at once.
- Soon being knocked back as more attacks came his way, the man focused his eyes on the lot, grunting some as he began to think of his next moves. Running wasn't going to be possible, he knew his speed, and just from this fight he knew theirs. He'd be cut down from the back side if he tried. On top of that, fighting them as if it had been an actual one on one fight wasn't going to work either, he needed to be more flexibile! Soon standing, his sword gripped tightly, rieka lines glowing ever more along with his eyes as they began to shimmer a bright green.
- "I won't be defeated, not by the likes of you! I -will- show you all the ways of Azrael, teach you how to actually accept and learn the dream our morning lord has wished for hundreds of years! I will!" his faith and Oscuri blood, the want to fight, kept this man driving on. Soon he'd be running at them again, his bulky blunt blade lifted into the air as he prepared to once more attack the three.
- (Edgar Kyros)
- The battle raged on as Fionn'tan's magic ripped up the forest as magma ebbed and flowed, being thrown hap-hazardly with each strike of his Core of the Peak into the ground.
- As it continued, they had finally managed to subdue the Oscuri, beating him up to a pulp. He was alive and nothing was truly broken or not where it needed to be. But before the group could go for some sort of killing blow or kidnapping... Edgar would find a way to slip throuugh their grasp.
- "Damn...Well, least he's not trying to force us to become Azraelites." The Drakanite sighed as he lifted his weapon up to rest upon his back. Now came another issue.
- He looked over to the unconscious Oscuri woman. "Well i suppose i'll just..." He rears his leg back before punting the Oscuri woman through the air of the Wychwood to land god knows where, likely a much safer place than where she was now.
- (Fionntán Embeyrin)
- Aziza ended up surviving since it was the will of the God's and Fion was there again. Thank the god's for him. He was a constant savior. Though a lot of her strength was the God's recognizing her love for live. Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. She had a lot of love and was deep into the lightside of the living force Thus she could nevr let someone like Edgar change that or inflict the ways of death upon others. Other than that it felt good to beat up Oscuri.
- I'm typically tymid but I think I understand being courage and brave now. I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a sword and shield in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin, but you begin anyway and see it through no matter what. That's what I am. Shr thought to herself. They had finally taken down edgar after a intense strggle all the while her healing wouldn't let anyone on her side get too injured. She played her role better than a world of war craft clerik. Now she had time to catch her breath.
- Stepping up to Edgar looking at him she had all the confidence in the world so suddenly. "Hmph" She smiled mischeviously. "What should we do with him now?" She would ask Fion.
- (Aziza Malakia)
- Kilanjo would once again go into battle with the Urayan and Drakanite by his side. The trio went against Edgar and managed to beat him.
- " So how does it feel to be looking up at us? Is this god of your so great now? " Kilanjo spat as he walked up towards the Oscuri with the look of disgust on his face.
- Do it. . . Saekanis told him
- So Kilanjo would. Raising his weapon above his head. He was prepared to beat on Edgar some more as his eyes was now riddled with a sadistic intent on beating the man mercilessly then reaching down and eating the very heart of the being.
- Only that as Kilanjo had brought his weapon down towards the ground. Edgar was gone. He had vanished from his sight.
- Angered, Kilanjo gazed out into the surroundings as he tried to find out where he went. Only that it would seem that he couldn't see or find a trace of him. Which was weird. Enraged. Kilanjo sought out to release his anger onto the female Oscuri. She would be a worthy sacrifice to Saekanis right?
- But no. The Drakanite punted her ass towards the night sky.
- " Really. . . " Kilanjo said to Fionntan with an annoyed stare.
- " You know what, never mind. I'ma go. Good team work " he said a low tone as he turned on his hells and walked off. There was no other reason for him being here. On top of that. He needed his rest
