[S] Power Armor Division: Workshop Defense

You both follow Aion into the central workshop chamber, only to strangely discover it empty, though wracked with half-deep scratchings and minor damage all throughout. The chamber is gargantuan in size, with a ceiling hanging dozens of feet above and its floors stretching a greater distance from the center toward the smooth concave walls and the large, round doors at the closest equivalent to corners that the room has. The floor is a combination of steel and round, unbelievably thick glass panes at the center, affording sight into a complex system of gears and massive clock-hands beneath, veins of electricity flowing across their surfaces. Large numbers mark the floor at points along the area's circumference, to which the clock hands point. At the center of the chamber is an up-scaled watch-crown with a slot mechanism similar to the chamber's entrance.

"Bit unexpected, this," Aion remarks, "But better than the alternative, I'd reckon."
He wastes no time in heading for the crown with warhammer at the ready, throwing some instructions your way as he does,

"So listen up, you lot, I'll get the gears I mentioned turning and the crawly bastards'll come running right away. I can't help fight them directly since I gotta *keep* the gears turning the whole time, but I can help in other ways."
"The Workshop Crown'll amplify my powers across the room in a few ways, so I can give you a bit of foresight into what nasty faces you'll get to smash into the ground. It'll also let me activate some defense mechanisms here and there to help with the process."
"Just don't let *anything* touch it!"

He kneels down and submerges one hand into the glass, and another into the steel. He wrenches them out, and three clones— one made of glass and two of steel—are dragged out.

Aion reaches the Workshop Crown and quickly inserts his warhammer. Steam is then vented from the Crown's undercarriage as the warhammer's handle transforms into a large mechanical crank which Aion begins to turn. Immediately, the sound of immense gears colliding with each other as they begin rotating once more echoes beneath the chamber as a field of distortion forms around the Crown, expanding to the edge of the glass surrounding it.

The doors between 1-2'o'clock, 4-5'o'clock, and 7-8'o'clock slowly hiss open as their segments contract counter-clockwise into their frames, with the exception of the last door. Beyond the open entrances to the rest of the workshop is only the darkness of deactivated lights and power systems.

"Last one's a bit jammed, shit. No matter, right now, because we've got our first wave incoming!"

Your vision shifts as Aion says this, as if a changing television channel, to that of nearly a dozen monstrosities bearing down on each entrance to the central chamber; a gloved hecatoncheire, an orcinus, and a foam proteus approach from 7-8'o'clock, an apophis leads a group of a landshark, a recluse, and two titachnids toward 1-2'o'clock, and a clockwork facsimile of a hive queen accompanied by a burlap Sagitta and an Acheron approaches 4-5'o'clock.
"I'll take the underlings at 7-8'o'clock!" Brian calls out, "You handle the rest!"

The battle rages on as light glares from the Proteus' eyes before it bites at Brian in retaliation, catching him in the shoulder. Brian performs a rolling tumble out of the beast's maw, seamlessly switching his weapon to a pair of clock-faced gauntlets mid-roll before jumping back at the Proteus and unleashing a flurry of sharpened strikes, blowing our a chunk of its elongated neck and effectively beheading the creature.

At the other end of the chamber, you hear the bears roar valiantly as they tear the titachnids to pieces before the sounds of predation fill the chamber as the bears eat their fill of their fresh victims.

The Barricade Crown is dropped just behind you and Glasshole, extending a wall in either direction to transform the space into a miniature arena from which escape is only possible through your death and the Entropic Crown is dropped in the middle of the Bears, hastening their perception of and movement through time to strengthen their attacks.
Brian shrugs and does a quick stretch in anticipation of the next wave of challengers for him to crush.
"Alright, incoming!" calls out Aion.

Your vision shifts again; a Meister and Sagitta duo approach from 7-8'o'clock, a Lich Queen and Foam Proteus fly toward 4-5'o'clock, and an unseen creature flanked by two Recluses and Landsharks each creeps toward 1-2'o'clock.
Quickly enough, the monsters emerge and conflict arises once more as the spotlight focuses again on Amdran and Glasshole
