Summoner

Long ago, the world of Corius was ruled by the Ancients, ascended from the tribes of ancient Cord to battle a great evil. Through much hardship, they prevailed and They continuously helped the races of Cord grow, and provided much needed wisdom. But their greatest invention, was the Summoner Battles and the Arenas. The system single handed,y prevented and discouraged large scale war.

Hundreds of years ago, when the Ancients had considered to depart, to the reaches of the cosmos, a massive conflict between two great nations, the Pandorian Empire and the Commonwealth of Aldor was about to be the cause of the largest Summoning Battle known to Cord. Yet... There and then, a massive cataclysm occurred, destroying both nations, and a vast amount of life on Cord. The Ancients too, were never heard of from.

Some believe they are still there. Others are more concerned with surviving. Others, yet, with carving out their own path. For millennia, Cord had enjoyed a sense of unity, under the Ancients. While the peace and cooperation has been undoubtedly shattered, and the world is in disarray, the Ancient's being gone, means new heights can be achieved...and then transcended.
