  7. [00:27] Hathor seemed to be hovering in place. Floating with both her eyes crossed. When the door opened, she opened one eye. Staring at the pink fox woman.

  11. [00:27] Ethan Hawke says, "We've got everything planned out, all that's left is for Thera to find the right spot in the spirit realm for proper purification that won't blast you into nothing like a star would."
  12. [00:28] Ethan nodded before gesturing towards Reito.

  14. "She's here to get the binding done with the staff. She's the one who purified and built it up to what it is today. Since the hold's gonna be pretty loose it means we'll be able to keep you around as normal and just proceed with the purification when the time comes, yeah?"

  16. He wasn't going to mention the big news, not yet.

  20. [00:30] Reaching her hand up to her face. The clawed fingers of the Nethradin were analyzed. Her appearance would probably drastically change once she's purified. "I'm going to miss this aesthetic, I think. But... go on." The second eye finally opened, as the hovering she-devil kept her gaze on both Ethan and Reito.

  26. [00:36] She allowed herself in to Ethan's home, following the Wayfinder. The Kitsune gazed at the Nethradin curiously now, pink eyes taking in the form of it before she spoke up,

  28. "My name is Reito Shimasu," She introduced politely, with a small smile. The pink glow of Mercy still clung to her form, intermingling with the blessing of Jiuweihu's light. Now, the Regent glanced to Ethan, "I need you to lay Rebirth upon the table for me, please.... Do you have blank sheets of paper, by the way? I want to draw up blueprints before I actually do the runes."

  32. [00:36] Hathor says, "Before we get started."
  33. [00:37] Hathor says, "I want to write a letter to someone. In the event this fails."
  34. [00:38] Ethan nodded at Reito, pulling a piece of paper from his cloak before handing it over to the kitsune. He walked over to the table, laying down the staff that had quite some history in its full magnificence. His lips parted, answering Hathor's first gut-feeling.

  36. "We managed to get our hands on one. A spire shard. The chance of failure's gone all the way down now, yeah?" He said, giving out those words at the most opportune moment.

  41. [00:39] Hathor says, "...It will make me less hesitant if I am sure I left a mesage behind for my daughter and my godson."

  90. [00:45] Hathor says, "Who knows how I'll change when this process is done."

  93. [00:46] Ethan Hawke says, "Anyway, you sure prepare the rune, Reito."
  94. [00:47] Reito Shimasu exclaims, "Well I haven't begun quite yet!!"
  95. [00:48] Reito Shimasu says, "I was waiting on the letter to be written."
  96. [00:48] Ethan Hawke says, "The idea's to bind you to the staff itself, as a failsafe if something goes wrong you'll end up living inside of it for a while. I'll anchor your spirit to the Netherworld circle on the staff, too, connecting Reito's rune and mine. That'll allow you to properly 'live' in both the spirit world and our world, always having a point of reference and no way to get lost."
  97. [00:50] Hathor folds the paper up, extending it out between her middle finger and index finger.

  101. [00:51] Hathor says, "It might be best Maia doesn't know until I see her in person."
  102. [00:51] Hathor says, "She wanted to be 'like' me in her youth."
  103. [00:51] Hathor says, "it might not be the best thing to tell her I'm changing until I do."

  106. [00:52] Hathor asks, "Well then. Time to begin? Or do we have something else we need?"
  107. [00:52] Ethan Hawke says, "We've got everything."
  108. [00:52] Ethan Hawke says, "Right now it'll just be the... binding process."
  109. [00:52] Ethan Hawke says, "Purification's going to be whenever Thera's around and-"
  110. [00:52] Hathor says, "Alright. Hope this doesn't hurt too bad."
  111. [00:53] Ethan Hawke says, ".. Yeah."
  112. [00:53] Ethan Hawke says, "I hope so, too."
  113. [01:05] The Kitsune moved forth now, towards the lovely staff she had worked so hard to mold and craft into something suitable to assist Agartha. Kneeling by it, the Virtue of Mercy inspected the staff before she held out both of her hands. Runic circles appeared near instantly under the Master Runescribe's delicate touch, one above the staff and one below. It was easy to do, given she had instilled these very runes onto the staff itself. The Regent was quiet, curious eyes taking a look at the runes closely before she nodded,

  115. "I'll add additional runes to bind you to the staff; as it is, since you're still...… You, at the moment, I'll add a sub command to where you can spend time here, and it won't mess anything up...." She murmured softly.

  117. Just like that, the runic circles spun, new runes being added as the Kitsune effortlessly channeled the needed to add them onto the staff, subtle Cosmic magic binding the runes to the weapon as sheworked.

  119. Hathor would feel no different, thankfully; and eventually, the Kitsune's hands lowered and she nodded,

  121. "It's done. The Nethradin should not leave the house, unless it's with you, Ethan. But beyond that, you're safe to move onto the next bit."

  127. [01:10] It really was a simple process. As long as the spirit being bound agreed to it (or didn't, it didn't matter much when it came to that level of runescribing), the binding wouldn't take more than a few seconds. There was but an idle glow on the staff's foci right next to a very similar rune, though with different sub-commands of their own. Phil was all too eager to get a roomate, really. Poor him; he wouldn't even be able to see her unless they failed on making their project work out.

  129. Regardless, the Wayfinder looked up towards Hathor, casting a smile.

  131. "All that's left to do is for Thera to find the right spot and me to send you there and back. That, and actually using the spire shard, too. But that's... a project for me."

  133. His gaze shifted to the virtue of mercy, giving her a nod.

  135. "Thanks, Rei-Rei."

  140. [01:14] The femme fiend simply watched as Reito did her work. While the Nethradin did agree. There was a natural paranoia; a sort of anxiety visible in her eyes. They shook and stayed focused on the Kitsune. Those were the eyes of a hunter. Wanting to pounce on prey. Was it the simple fact of not knowing Reito that caused this state of being? Or perhaps the fact Reito was compelled by a virtue and the Nethradin had the instinctual urge to try and destroy or taint.

  142. With both eyes closing tightly, a hiss followed her head turning away, allowing her entire form to face the wall opposing Reito. "So does this mean I have to stick close to his side now like some leash? What a pain. Will the purification process remove my occultism so I'm not.. tempted to commit destructive acts because of it?" A genuine question, as a single hoof began to tap impatiently.

  146. [01:15] Ethan Hawke says, "... I don't know if it will, but if it doesn't we can take care of that after."
  147. [01:16] Ethan Hawke says, "Doing it now might damage you way, way too much."
  148. [01:16] Ethan Hawke asks, "I'll make sure to take note of it, yeah?"
  149. [01:22] Ordinarily, Reito would have perhaps not noticed the Nethradin's desire to destroy her; it was only from that divine influence granting her such a gift did those pink eyes look up at all, towards the spirit.

  151. "You don't need to be so angry," She said patiently, "I am merely here to help... The chance to purify a Nethradin is something special indeed, and I appreciate the chance to do so." She paused, before adding, "I doubt that Sunyata would do well for you... Or myself."

  156. [01:24] Hathor asks, "Does the bind you establish require me to be near Ethan? Is it somehow visible on me?"
  157. [01:26] Hathor says, "I don't mena to be angry. Your presence puts me on edge. You're so.... 'pure'."
  158. [01:28] Reito Shimasu says, "It's not visible."
  159. [01:28] Reito Shimasu says, "The subcommand allows you to remain here, when Ethan isn't here."
  160. [01:28] Reito Shimasu says, ".... It's new."

  163. "It manifested itself against the Fallen," She said.

  167. [01:28] Hathor says, "Unfortunate. FIghting a fallen angel sounds like it would've been fun."
  168. [01:28] Hathor says, "Sad I missed that."

  171. [01:29] Ethan Hawke says, ".... It was like Malentine's back then."
  172. [01:30] Ethan nodded, looking towards Reito and trying to be an accomodating host despite how late it was getting in reality.

  174. "Do you want anything to drink, or...?"

  178. [01:30] Hathor asks, "So what about my bind to Sors? Did this one replace it?"
  179. [01:33] She had fought, she had cleansed and healed, and now she had runescribed. To say she wasn't tired was.... A mistake. However she offered a polite smile to Ethan and shook her head,

  181. "No, I'm quite alright, thank you however..." Towards the Nethradin she offered an honest reply, "I don't know. I don't know much about your kind, and I believe Thera would be better suited to answer that!"

  185. [01:33] Hathor says, "I didn't feel the chains in my hands and feet go away."
  186. [01:34] Hathor says, "I likely would've bled if they did."
  187. [01:34] Ethan Hawke says, "The purification's gonna be the one that'll make it happen."
  188. [01:34] Ethan Hawke says, "You won't be a Nethradin anymore, so..."
  189. [01:34] Ethan Hawke says, "... I'd assume those chains would be blasted right off - with how corrupted they are."
  190. [01:34] Hathor says, "No idea what they even are. I can't see them. Or touch them. But I feel them."
  191. [01:34] Reito Shimasu says, "....."
  192. [01:34] Hathor says, "In the palms of my hands, my ankles. Able to be bent in any which way to inflict pain on me if I am disobedient. Always was a nuisance."
  193. [01:34] Reito Shimasu says, "Possibly Sors' own unique brand of control, I would imagine."
  194. [01:35] Reito Shimasu says, ".... He affects me so much but I've honestly never met the man."
  195. [01:35] Reito Shimasu says, "Perhaps I should."
  196. [01:35] Hathor says, "It felt like stakes being driven through both my legs and hands."
  197. [01:35] Hathor says, "But, he's not someone you'd want to meet."
  198. [01:37] Ethan Hawke says, "I'm sure Thera's gonna be able to answer all of that when the time comes."
  199. [01:37] Reito Shimasu says, "Of course not. He'd probably make me sick the same way the Fallen made me sick."
  200. [01:38] Hathor says, "I'm surprised I don't."
  201. [01:38] Reito Shimasu says, "You kind of do."
  202. [01:38] Hathor asks, "Anyway, how long until that purification ritual will be ready, yu think?"
  203. [01:38] Reito Shimasu asks, "Ethan...?"
  204. [01:40] Ethan offered a small shrug.

  206. "Not too long. Thera said that all she had to do was talk to an old friend before we could proceed. I'm pretty sure it means it'll be sooner rather than later."

  211. [01:40] Hathor asks, "And what am I to do until then, stay here?"
  212. [01:41] Reito Shimasu says, ".... Ah - ...."

  214. [01:41] Ethan Hawke says, "It'd be the safest thing."
  215. [01:42] Ethan Hawke says, "Levengard definitely won't take kindly to you until you're purified."
  216. [01:42] Ethan Hawke says, "... And anywhere else may just be dangerous."
  217. [01:43] Hathor asks, "Even if I was in the process of going through the purification?"
  218. [01:45] Ethan Hawke says, "They'd probably contain you to the beach."
  219. [01:45] Ethan Hawke says, "It wouldn't be as lonely, for sure."
  220. [01:45] Ethan Hawke says, ".. I can probably pull some strings to have it happen."
  221. [01:45] Hathor says, "Beaches are nice."
  222. [01:46] Hathor says, "After all if you can purify me it can be the gateway to purifying Nethradin corruption en masse."

  225. [01:46] Ethan Hawke says, "Hopefully people are gonna listen."
