Instructions for use:
Browsing or hosting the archive will only work on a Linux/BSD box, Windows (and the NTFS filesystem) does not allow '?' characters in filenames, and this will break all of the links.
You will need ~350gb total for the archive and its contents.  Extract the archive by running 'tar -xvf wtforum.tar.zst', it will take some time because there are ~1.2 million files in the archive.  After it's finished, you can open the index.html file in the old-forum.warthunder.com folder in a browser, which will bring up the forum homepage.  Alternatively, you can host the archive on a webserver.  Clicking on page numbers in threads does not work, you must right click > open in new tab for each new page you would like to view.


Things to know:
	- The search function will not work.
	- It was not possible to include images embedded from third-party websites (like imgur).  They will embed properly anyway as long as the images are still hosted.  Pictures that were uploaded to the forum and hosted on Gaijin's own CDN are included in this archive.
	- The medals (for beta testing, etc.) shown in player signatures are broken, the links were not converted properly on Gaijin's end when the old forum was frozen and moved to its new domain.  It's possible to fetch those images manually and fix the links with a script and I may get around to it in the future.
	- I have already run a deduplication script on the data.  Every user's pfp is a unique image even though they are all from the same set - these unique copies have all been replaced by hardlinks.
