After a bit more research into the matter my opinion has changed. I feel in extreme circumstances the death penalty should be allowed. There have been several criminals that have knowingly and aggressively committed horrible crimes such as gruesome murders, serial rape and torture, etc. There are certain people that do not have the right to continue to live in and leach off of our society. The death penalty should be addressed on a case by case bases. The death penalty isn't always the answer, but it does have it's purpose.
