[console] So we've been commissioned to transport a certain cargo by the Cascadians. They're being pretty tight-lipped about what it is exactly, but the pay is good so I'm not about to question them. With any luck this rustbucket will make the journey to Botany Bay without a hitch.

[console] The first mate suggests we alter course to avoid a patch of bad weather. I agreed with him, although it'd set us a back a day or two. Not gonna take any chances on this journey. The Cascadian representative isn't too happy though.

[console] That weather system must have moved northward. We're fighting 30ft waves and it isn't showing any signs of letting up. I had the crew tie down the cargo and secure all bulkheads. It'll be a miracle if we make it through this.

The rushing of the waves outside creates an extremely relaxing sound.

[console] Well, we survived. That's the good news. The bad news is the ship beached itself on a tiny island in the middle of the bay of stockton. The Cascadian is furious of course, but the rest of us are just happy to be alive. He's having us unload all the cargo for safe keeping. God knows what that means.

[console] One of the crew found a natural cave in the west side of the mountain. It's a bit narrow, but the damned Cascadian wants us to pack all the cargo in there.

[console] It turns the cargo included a mining utility bot. We're having it widen out that cave so more cargo will fit. One of the crew has had some experience with robots so I left it to him.

[console] Now that cargo has been successfully stowed and secured, we've been thinking of ways to leave this damn island. I had the men take one of the running lights up to the top of the mountain and hook it up to a battery. Hopefully a passing ship will notice it and come pick us up.

[console] That robot does not seem pleased with the duties we've been assigning it. Keeps saying something about 'operational parameters' or something. We've programmed it to monitor a radio in a small shack we built, as well as patrol the island for potential threats. I also gave it a log of crew duties to be fulfilled in case they forget.

[console] After a long wait we've finally managed to signal a ship. Thank god, I am sick of crab. The cascadian says he'll return to retrieve the cargo later. I'll just be happy if I never see this damn island again.
