  2.
  3. Synopsis: The girl who is friends with everyone at school has an assignment with a quiet classmate. Summer is about to end. An assignment, a change of season, and two different personalities. A bridge may be needed, to connect them
  4. *You will play as the girl*
  5. *All characters are above 18*
  6. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  7. ()= The Sounds effect I visualized
  8. []= The Tone of the voice that I visualized.
  9.
  10. I don't really mind how and when sounds are put or if you put them at all. I believe that you, the performer, knows about this much better than me. You have full freedom.
  11.
  12. ---Sunset Bridge---
  13.
  14. (If you want to add some "pencil/writing/mumble" go fo it. Try picturing a simple room).
  15. [Try to sound friendly, as if you were talking to a friend already].
  16.
  17. - Phew, I think that was the last part of it.
  18. [Short pause]
  19. - See? This was much better than sending our parts independently.
  20. - Yeah, besides, you are the only one I have not had the chance to talk with properly.
  21. - At first, I thought you hated me, but I realized that you are just... one quiet guy.
  22. - Why did I think so?
  23. - I don't know
  24. - We had short talks, mostly about school.
  25.
  26. [Pause, if you want to add giggles, go for it]
  27.
  28. - I know that at times I'm loud and maybe I'm way too extrovert at times.
  29. - But now you can see that I can control my volume and focus on the assignment.
  30. - My grades? They are fine, not the best but enough to pass.
  31. - Do you think I should have the best ones?
  32. - What do you mean?
  33. - You think I'm a great student?
  34. - How come?
  35. - Oh, as in, what it means to be a student?
  36. - I can see what you mean.
  37. - Social skills are important, and being able to understand the others is key.
  38. - But, social skills shouldn't be measured with a grade after all, don't you agree?
  39. - Yeah, I don't think that you are bad at it. You are just reserved, it doesn't mean that you don't "communicate with others".
  40. - What do I mean?
  41. - Sometimes it is easy to tell when you are feeling uncomfortable, or when you are actually busy, or when you want to ask for something.
  42. - Remember yesterday? When the assignment was given.
  43. - You looked at me with an expression that, I don't know. It was like you saying to me "Let's do this".
  44. - With that, it was easier for me to go to talk to you.
  45. - And then, when I suggested that if you were not comfortable with me, we could send our parts online to each other and see how it goes from there.
  46. - You, without any words, let me knew that you wanted to meet up at your place and work here.
  47. - And I was right, wasn't I?
  48. - See? You are not that bad at communicating, you just use another... method, haha.
  49.
  50. [Pause]
  51. (Giggles, humming, anything you think that will make the next line sound like an attempt to break the ice)
  52.
  53. - I forgot to mention how nice your room is.
  54. - Yeah, it's comfortable, and that window, men, it sure helps at this time of the year.
  55. - I know right? I hate it. It's not too hot, not too cold.
  56. - Plus, this breeze and view. You got lucky.
  57. - Wanna chill a bit? We are done after all and it's Friday. I don't have any plans.
  58. - I think that you are wondering how someone like me doesn't have any plans?
  59. - Haha, no, no it's fine. I know that I give that vibe. That I'm everyone's friend.
  60. - But that doesn't mean that I'm always with plans you know.
  61. - Plus, this was my plan after all.
  62. - Huh?
  63. - To spend time with you, I wanted to.
  64. - Why?
  65. - Well because you are a cute guy and I can tell that you are not boring.
  66. - Come one! Don't be so hard on yourself.
  67. - Here, let's sit on your bed.
  68.
  69. (Bed sounds, sheets, etc)
  70.
  71. - Men, this breeze and view...
  72. - You get to experience this every day?
  73. - It's so... I don't know, I can't find a word.
  74. - You get what I'm trying to say? Haha, cool.
  75. - I think that we connected quite well in no time.
  76. - Yeah. We just needed to have an excuse to be like this.
  77. - ... Are you thinking the same I am?
  78. - You do...?
  79. - A... bridge?
  80.
  81. [Dissapointed but not defeated, you could add a giggle]
  82.
  83. - Oh, and I thought for a second that we were thinking the same haha.
  84. - No, no don't mind me.
  85. - Why a bridge though?
  86. - Nothing?
  87. - But then...
  88. - Wait. That's my hand!
  89. - You just want to hold it?
  90. - Alright, cool.
  91.
  92. [Pause. Try to sound just a bit nervous now. But still, play it cool]
  93.
  94. - You like seeing through your window, don't you?
  95. - The city, the orange sky with a bit of purple on it, the trees...
  96. - Oh, that's the bridge you meant, right?
  97. - That one, over there.
  98. - If I'm not mistaken, that one is an entrance to the city, right?
  99. - You were not talking about that one?
  100. [Pause, make it sound like a slow realization]
  101. - Then, you meant our hands?
  102.
  103. (Laugh)
  104.
  105. - That's so cute! Haha
  106. - See? You are amazing. Cute, smart, deep...
  107. - You know, before I was wondering if we were actually thinking the same.
  108. - But then you said something else...
  109. - Although, now, after that cute thing that you did... I think that we do think the same.
  110. - You don't need words to express it, you just wanted to share it through actions.
  111.
  112. [Pause. Nervous]
  113.
  114. - Now... shall we?
  115. - W-What do I mean?
  116. - H-Hey ...
  117. - Why are you still looking throughout the window?
  118. - It's nothing?
  119. - Then why are you still doing it?
  120. - You know what, I'll kiss you.
  121. - Yes! Kiss you.
  122. - Because you were the one that took the first step when asking me to come here.
  123. - And you were the one that even took my hand.
  124. - We both know that we want to get closer.
  125. - But so far you have been the only one doing it.
  126. - So I'll now do my part at shortening our distance.
  127. - And I'll kiss you until there will not be any remaining feel of distance.
  128.
  129. (Bed sounds. Kissing. Go for something slow, progressive. Use improvisation if you feel like doing it)
  130.
  131. - That was... nice.
  132. - Let's cuddle.
  133. - No, don't let go off my hand.
  134. - Look at me.
  135. - Things escalated a bit quick, don't you think?
  136. - But, the moment was building up for a long time ago.
  137. - Every glance, every time I waved, every time I said good morning.
  138. - We were building the path for this.
  139. - Slowly, but surely.
  140. - And the moment you took my hand.
  141. - I was sure that the bridge we were building for so long, was finally done.
  142. - And it's made of concrete.
  143. - Solid.
  144. - So please, let's keep holding our hands.
  145. - Intertwining our fingers.
  146. - Summer is about to end.
  147. - We'll move onto another season, a new semester is starting.
  148.
  149. [Pause, things should be calm now]
  150. [Giggles]
  151.
  152. - Back to the beginning, with you being this quiet, and me doing most of the talk.
  153. - But it feels different.
  154. - Yeah, we'll see how it all goes.
  155. - You don't want to let go of my hand?
  156. - I feel the same.
  157.
  158. (Pause. Breathing, perhaps some tender snoring, etc)
  159.
  160. - Hey, let's go outside the city this weekend.
  161. - There's a bridge that will lead us, right?
  162. - Let's go walking... holding our hands.
  163. - Before the summer is over.
