Almost two years after a virus wiped out most of the human race, Phil Miller only wishes for some company, but soon gets more than he bargained for when that company shows up in the form of other survivors.
This is the story about the life and adventures of the last man on Earth. Phil Miller was once just an average guy who loved his family and hated his job at the bank - now he's humanity's last hope. Will he ever find another person alive on the planet? Would hoping that she is a female be asking too much?
I don't mind studios cancelling a series but creating an ending always helped. I think the comedy writing was outstanding Will Forte and the cast of characters are fantastic. The cameo's really made it for me ( John Hamm's Cameo was 10 seconds... Priceless) I've never witnessed a series where you could write someone in and out as long or short as the actors availability's allow. I hope it gets picked up for a final season at least.., give us some closure.
I was up in the air with this but when I read another review state "So not funny and so typical of a society in serious decline under the stewardship of the cancer known as LIBERALISM." I couldn't help but feel I MUST watch the show. I'm glad I did. It is very funny and entertaining. There are many short gags and I like the way the story is beginning to develop. I know the "odd couple" formula is old but it continues to be used since it frequently works. Unfortunately it doesn't work all the time, sorry Mathew Perry, but is does seem to work here. I'm not sure how the show will develop, but so far I'm grateful for the "society in serious decline under the stewardship of the cancer known as LIBERALISM."that provided it.
