01[21:18] <Vincent> A bleak environment surrounds you, gray skies all around and a sickeningly thick mist makes it impossible to see more than a few feet ahead of you. A mansion stands before you, a light shines by the window and a shadow passes by it, telling you that there is someone inside. An eerie feeling chills you to the bones for a moment but you feel compelled to walk up the steps, towards the door.
01[21:18] <Vincent> Something in your mind whispers "In this house, death is only a transient phase and thus not an ending. There is no ending here, only a continuous walk forward into nothingness..." How true, as you cannot recall anything regarding yourself, who you are, where you live and why are you here. For that matter, those who walked towards the mansion as you did are also a mystery to you...
06[21:21] * Midori blinks as she realises all this... she doesn't know any of these people around her, or why she's even here. The feeling rattles her right down to every shy sensibility she has, but she figures she can at least say Hi... before she can get it out though, she has a coughing fit, a hacking, somewhat painful sounding sort of cough.
06[21:26] * Canis glances over at the weakening cough, noting the gray-haired girl in her mind. She easily turned her dulled gaze away to glance at the others, one looking quite young, Canis wondered how long she'd last.
06[21:26] * Len is snapped out of a weird trance by a girl's coughing fit. She shakes her head and around at the all of the people around. 'What was I doing?' she wonders to herself. The girl coughing next to her starts to make her uncomfortable
06[21:27] * Midori rubs her upper chest a little once she finishes coughing and looks to the others with a weak smile. She really doesn't look too good... "H-hi e-everyone..."
06[21:29] * Kaitah wanders towards the coughing, and then simply stares at the ground
01[21:29] <Vincent> The ground is covered in dead grass...has this place ever received sun before?
06[21:30] * Len ignores the weird feeling in her gut and greets the girl. "hey are you alright?"
06[21:31] * Midori blinks a little, looking to Len and clasping her hands in front of her, offering another weak smile. She seems in good enough spirits, at least... Her voice is quiet "Yes... w-well, I suppose n-not really depending on how you look at it..." She shuffles her feet, a little bashful. "I have... um... a kind of d-disease... it's not contageous though, s-so none of you have to worry about that..."
06[21:31] * Canis feels uneasy and grumbles a curse under her breath. This place was even more desolate than...than? What was she comparing it to? Canis began to grit her teeth and her eyes shifted back and forth, trying to take in her surroundings more. What was this place worse than?!
01[21:32] <Vincent> Canis can see...nothing but mist...but is there...something in the distance? Perhaps if she were to try a bit harder...
[21:34] <Kaitah> "What is this place...?"
01[21:35] <Vincent> Kaitah's voice is responded by a chilling wind...
06[21:36] * Canis 's spine chills as she looks further into the mist, unrooting her feet and taking a step forward.
[21:37] <Midori> "I... I don't know...?" She coughs a few more times, but sounds much less intense this time. "But... I feel like I sh-should be here, at least..."
01[21:38] <Vincent> Canis can see a few dark shapes a bit aways in what looks like a few minutes walking distance...they look like sharp black shapes poking out of the mist...trees? But something is hanging from them...what could it be? Unfortunately Canis cannot make out anymore...
[21:39] <Canis> "Oi, Black, Red! Can you see anything over there?"
06[21:40] * Canis points roughly towards the black forms in the fog
06[21:40] * Midori blinks, and peers that way...
01[21:42] <Vincent> There indeed seems to be trees over there, could it be the way they came from? So this world wasn't isolated afterall...wait, why would you think that? There seems to be large cages hanging from the trees, who are devoid of any vegetation on them.
[21:43] <Midori> "They..." She coughs a couple of times, rubbing her chest again... "Sorry... they look like trees... with cages in them?" She offers a slight shiver, hugging herself and stepping closer to the others, despite her shyness. "Th-that's... k-kind of creepy..."
[21:44] <Canis> "Eh? Gray, you see it?" Canis glances over at her again, rechecking her appraisal of the girl.
06[21:46] * Midori is fairly short, almost frail looking. She certainly is no athlete! Gray uniform and matching gray hair, and black eyes... she has dark circles under her eyes, and generally looks somewhat unhealthy, but not enough so to be off putting. It almost makes one want to take care of her. "J-just barely... and... um... my n-name's Midori... but you can call me Gray if you like."
[21:46] <Kaitah> "Sh-should we...  Go there?"  Kaitah whimpers, hugging the side of the now much closer Midori
01[21:46] <Vincent> The mansion suddenly feels safer all of a sudden...will someone feel brave enough to knock?
06[21:46] * Midori shakes her head at Kaitah, hugging back reflexively! She's nervous! "N-n-no, I w-want to go inside... s-someone knock..."
[21:48] <Canis> "Midori, ah? Alright, Gray. Nice meeting, try not to die. Smells dangerous."
06[21:48] * Midori eeps softly at Canis! "D-d-die? S-surely things aren't th-that bad...!"
06[21:49] * Canis thinks it over a moment, tapping her foot on the ground.
[21:50] <Canis> "Eh, we'll decide later. Won't worry too much till then, guess."
[21:52] <Kaitah> "You'll keep us safe then, right?"
06[21:52] * Canis looks around.
06[21:53] * Midori takes a deep breath, then pulls away from Kaitah, seeing noone else willing to knock on the door... she steps forward and does so!
[21:53] <Canis> "Ah," she replies with a nod, a token sound of agreement. "Black! You look shaky! Comin' or runnin'?"
01[21:53] <Vincent> Len suddenly feels a call from somewhere in the mist...she looks around but sees that the others have not noticed it yet...Len wanders off into the mist...
[21:54] <Canis> "Black! That doesn't seem sa--," Canis calls out, but the girl's disappeared into the fog. Canis shrugged it away, but her stomach fell a little.

06[21:55] * Vincent puts down his tea and closes his book, not bothering to look out the window to confirm it he simply waves a hand to the maid next to him. "Could you get that Rebecca?"
06[21:56] * Canis steps up next to Midori and nudges her aside to stand in her place
06[21:57] * Becky leaves her post, sitting on the armrest of the master's chair, "As you command, my lord." Becky saunters to the front door and opens it smoothly, "Hmmm...One of the flock seems to have gotten lost. Poor thing. Do come inside, the rest of you.."

06[21:59] * Canis she steps inside, glancing left and right
06[22:00] * Midori steps inside right after Canis, using the other girl for cover it would seem... not fearing any danger, but being around completely new people unnerves her, anda t least she's known Canis for a few minutes.
06[22:00] * Becky stares at the maids, probing into their minds... "Do follow me to meet the honored master. Mind your manners...If you value your life, transient as it is..."
06[22:01] * Kaitah cheers up a bit at the sight of a house and people, and skips inside
06[22:01] * Canis mentally growled at the maid's mannerisms, but set herself into a more normal posture anyways.
06[22:02] * Becky snaps her fingers and does her best to keep the maids in a single-file line, leading them to the master, "My lord..." she bows low, keeping her eyes on him.
01[22:04] <Vincent> The mansion on the inside is rather dimly lit, everything painted with dark or red colors...it looks a tad old and decrepid but still in proper working order. In the living room, a tall looking man sits while sipping a cup of tea, a large tophat on his head which obscures his eyes making it only possible to his nose and mouth.
06[22:04] * Canis follow's the maid's example, down to keeping her eyes on him as well. Her bow is probably not as deep as the maid's.
06[22:04] * Midori follows... still right behind Canis, hoping to avoid as much notice as possible. She bows as well... before right on cue, at the worst possible time, she lapses into another pitiful fit of coughing
01[22:05] <Vincent> "Ah greetings, that was a rather long walk." the man puts down his tea and stands up, he is rather tall yet thin and lanky. His outfit isn't particurlarly flashy and looked as old as the rest of the mansion did, even from beneath him, his eyes are obscured from his hat.
06[22:05] * Canis continues glancing at the man, watching for his reaction as Canis shuffled a step closer to the girl.
06[22:06] * Kaitah tries to comfort Midori through the fit
06[22:07] * Becky lets her eyes fall on Midori, cold and indifferent.
06[22:07] * Midori smiles gratefully at Kaitah, trying to get her coughing under control quickly... before long she's standing straight again, but bowing her head to Vincent apologetically. "I-i'm sorry for the d-disturbance, Master..."
06[22:08] * Becky snaps in a hushed tone, "Speak when you are SPOKEN TO."
01[22:08] <Vincent> "Now now Rebecca! There's no need for that!" the master has a wide smile, impossibly wide you might even say.
06[22:09] * Canis snaps one eye into a glare at the maid, unsure of whether she wanted the movement to be obscured by her rough bangs or not.
06[22:09] * Kaitah 's eyes widen with fear
06[22:09] * Becky bows her head silently, but her fist clenches tensely.
06[22:09] * Midori shivers slightly and bows her head, hands clapsed in front of her. Becky's rebuke is most certainly taken right to heart.
01[22:10] <Vincent> "Ah, so were did you go? It's been AGES since I last saw you girls?" the master asks, he seems to know you...were you supposed to know him? Perhaps you should ask him to clarify...
06[22:11] * Midori keeps her mouth firmly shut... she's afraid of Becky snapping at her again!
[22:11] <Kaitah> "I...  I've never seen you before in my life..."
[22:12] <Canis> "You know me? I haven't seen you."
[22:13] <Becky> "How cruel..." Becky smiles softly, folding her arms.
06[22:14] * Canis recalled having tried to think of an unpleasant place before, and how she couldn't. This man's... claim wouldn't be impossible.
01[22:15] <Vincent> "Hmmm? Ah, I don't suppose you've forgotten yet again? How troublesome..." the master's grin turns pensive...you realize how difficult it is to gauge someone's reactions without seeing their eyes. "Perhaps you should take a seat so I can explain." He smiles again and walks over to the twin couches in front of a small table. "Please, please, do sit down!" he seems like a jovial type.
06[22:16] * Midori walks over, still silent, and takes a seat as she's directed.
06[22:17] * Becky retreats to the master's side, all but hanging over him. They seem close. Physically anyway.
06[22:17] * Kaitah steps cautiously to the couch and sits with her knees hugged to her chest
06[22:18] * Canis walks over. She feels compelled to put her feet on the table, but glances back at the pair and sits straightly in one. She takes a glance over at the other two, mentally gritting her teeth.
01[22:21] <Vincent> "Ahem, my name is Vincent Albert Leblanc. I am the master of this mansion, this is my head maid Rebbeca."
06[22:21] * Becky gave a small wave with a smile, though it seemed threatening in a way
06[22:22] * Canis blinked behind her bangs, and noted the name, trying to file it with that place she couldn't remember...
01[22:22] <Vincent> "Now, I assume none of you can seem to recall...well, just about anything. Am I correct?"
06[22:23] * Midori shakes her head meekly... giving a cough, but a quiet one, covering her mouth yet again
06[22:23] * Kaitah just makes a whimpering sound
[22:23] <Canis> "It's nice to...see you again, Mister Leblanc," offered with a gamble.

06[22:24] * Midori puts an arm around Kaitah... still not daring to speak, but trying to offer some comfort
01[22:24] <Vincent> "Good to see you again Canis. As for your loss...well that's to be expected...you see, the last time you girls were here...you all had forgotten as well...and the time before that...and the time before that..." Vincent explained calmly.
06[22:25] * Becky glared at Canis...
06[22:26] * Canis blinked back surprise and her shoulders shrank together for a moment before she sat up even straighter, shaking her bangs lightly to offer a glimpse of her gold eyes.
01[22:27] <Vincent> "I must say it is troublesome to always have to repeat this to you, so I shall say it in as brief a manner possible! You 3 all work here as my maids."
06[22:28] * Midori nods to Vincent... she thought as much! She raises her hand meekly, hoping to ask a question.

01[22:29] <Vincent> "Yes Midori!" Vincent said pointing at the meak girl with his impossible smile. What a strange fellow...

[22:30] <Midori> "Um... w-well, Master Leblanc... wh-why do we keep forgetting...?"
01[22:32] <Vincent> "Oh? Well I'm sorry my dear but I simply have no idea!!" he laughed, "Quite ridiculous really considering the number of maids that come and go here...I really should look into that!" he smiled and then grew serious, "Perhaps it is simply something in the mist?"
01[22:34] <Vincent> "Every time you arrive, I simply offer you a place to stay in exchange for your services, that is about as much as I can offer you I'm afraid." Vincent coughed into his hand to calm down.

01[22:40] <Vincent> Suddenly...one more figure stepped out of the mist, a lone girl stood by the mansion doors. Her eyes glazed over as if she was dreaming...a small gust of wind blows waking her, as with the rest...she recalls nothing...who she is beyond her name, why she is here...not a thing...something creaks behind her...is there something out there? The mansion looks rather inviting...
01[22:42] <Vincent> "That time we met? My dear girl we've met over and over so many times that I can't tell one meeting from another!" Vincent shrugs.
01[22:43] <Vincent> "Do you wish to ask something else?"
[22:43] <Canis> "Ah... I spoke unclearly. Forgive me, Master Leblanc. I meant our first meeting, and how long ago it was."
01[22:44] <Vincent> "Ah...our first meeting...you were so cute that day...shaking in terror out in the front...it seemed like just yesterday...hmm...was it yesterday Rebecca?" Vincent asked the maid leaning against him.
06[22:47] * Miranda walks towards the mansion. She seems scared, only because she has no clue where she is. She sings a bit to herself, trying to calm down as she walks towards the mansion.
06[22:47] * Becky laid her head on the master's shoulder, "Perhaps...And perhaps it was much longer. It's a chore that I'll have to teach so much to her again..." Becky gave a sadistic grin, "It's so very hard to tell one day from another..Just what does 'yesterday' really mean?"
[22:48] <Midori> "Um... th-that's... a good question actually, Rebecca..."
01[22:48] <Vincent> "I do believe it means the day before this one but I digress..." Vincent scratched at his top hat.
06[22:49] * Becky slunk away from the master's side, "I sense...One lost from the flock has found her way. If you will excuse me..." Becky curtsied and left the room
01[22:49] <Vincent> "Ah, please do take care of it Rebecca. As for you three, I am terribly sorry that I cannot answer your questions a bit more precisely...perhaps if you spend a bit more time here it'll come back to me or to you? I would honored to house you lovely ladies once more after all."
06[22:49] * Miranda knocks on the mansion's door, a bet hesitant at first.
06[22:50] * Midori smiles weakly... "W-well... I d-don't have anywhere else to go, n-not that I can remember anyway... I w-would love to stay here, Master Leblanc..."
06[22:51] * Becky opens the door, "So glad you could make it. Hurry, hurry! The master awaits..." Becky turned, motioning the girl to follow.
06[22:51] * Canis shuddered invisibly at the vague responses. "Thank you... once again, Mister Leblanc," she said unusually mildly. "It... will be nice working with you... again."
01[22:52] <Vincent> "What say you Kaitah?"
[22:53] <Kaitah> "It's not like I really have a choice..."
[22:56] <Miranda> "W-What?" she stutters, walking in anyway. "Expecting me? I don't even know where I am..."
01[22:56] <Vincent> "Excellent excellent." Vincent approved, "Please make yourselves comfortable while we wait for our latest guest, I'll have Rebecca show you your rooms later this evening." Vincent stopped and put his hand to his chin, "Or is it morning? Oh well..."
[22:56] <Midori> "P-perhaps a look at a clock would help...?"
[22:57] <Becky> "So you must admit there's nowhere else for you to go! I expect you to serve the estate's lord with grace." Becky led Miranda to the living room and bowed, "My lord."
[22:58] <Miranda> "Serve? Lord? Estate?"
01[22:59] <Vincent> "A clock? Oh that thing has been broken since as far as I can remember...perhaps one of you could repair the clocktower some day?...not that we'd know what time it actually is I suppose." Vincent shrugged once more, "Ah, Miranda! So good to see you again! It's been so long!" once again he addresses a maid who most likely could not recall him...
[23:03] <Miranda> "How...How do you know my name? Who are you?!"
01[23:04] <Vincent> "Ah...another one who's lost...sit down please. As for the rest, feel free to look around the mansion! Get yourself familiar with your new work environment!"
[23:05] <Becky> "I'll accompany the maids." Becky curtsied
06[23:06] * Canis glanced over to the arriving maid. If that man's telling the truth...she's probably known her. She gets up, however, standing next to the two she arrived with, glancing back to Glasses as Rebecca began moving.
01[23:06] <Vincent> "Please do so Rebecca. Also, be gentle."
06[23:06] * Miranda she sits down, still a bit on her guard. "Lost?"
06[23:07] * Midori gulps and stands... Rebecca's going to be with them? That makes her a little nervous... she sticks close to Canis
06[23:08] * Kaitah seems reluctant to stand, even after everyone else has begun moving
01[23:08] <Vincent> "Yes, lost your memories...as I've told the others, this isn't the first time you've come to my door wondering what was going on." Vincent explained to Miranda, serving her some tea and sipping his own, sitting down in front of her.
06[23:09] * Becky leads the maids out of the living room and seems to relax a bit, "Where shall I talk you bunch first...Your rooms? I wonder if you'll be able to pick out your old ones~"
06[23:09] * Miranda looks down at the tea, not taking a sip yet. "But why did I lose them? Why have I come here before?!"
[23:09] <Becky> take*
[23:10] <Midori> "Um... I w-would rather see the p-places we'll be working..."
[23:11] <Canis> "Yel-," Canis started, but glanced back at Red. "Kait, coming?"
[23:11] <Becky> "Fine, fine..." Becky puts a hand on her hip "I'll show you to the kitchen..." Becky lead the way...
[23:12] <Kaitah> "I... I guess so..."
06[23:12] * Kaitah stands up nervously and moves to join the group
06[23:13] * Midori smiles at Becky, a little weakly, resistng the urge to start coughing again... "S-so Rebecca... um... w-were we friends before...?"
01[23:13] <Vincent> "Ah, for that I have no clue. Seems like all my maids come here not knowing who they were or where they came from...I can scarcely recall how you were the first time you arrived..." Vincent's grin turned into a slight frown.
01[23:14] <Vincent> "As for why you come here...perhaps it's because this is your place? A question better asked of yourself really..."
[23:14] <Becky> though facing forward, Becky turns her head around unnaturally far to look at Midori, smiling widely. "BEST of friends, Midori...We had ever so much fun playing together."
[23:15] <Miranda> "What am I supposed to do here? What if I have a home or something to return to?"
06[23:15] * Midori blinks... that's unnerving! "Oh... w-well then, I'm glad...!"
06[23:16] * Becky turns back around, "I'm not...I thought we were close...But you've forgotten all about me..." Becky sounded sad...But was still grinning from ear to ear as they arrived in the kitchen.
01[23:16] <Vincent> "Ah, well perhaps your memories will come back to you in time? Maybe I'll recall something...as I've offered the others, you may live here if you desire while your try to sort through all this. I do not recommend venturing into the mist without clearly knowing where you are going..." Vincent warned ominously, his grin showing again.
06[23:18] * Midori withers slightly... she looks positively repentant now. "I'm... I'm s-so sor-" She trails off into another fit of heavy coughing*
[23:18] <Miranda> "W-What's out there?"
06[23:19] * Canis had paced back with Yellow, but stepped forward briskly next to Midori.
[23:19] <Canis> "Gray, having trouble?"
06[23:20] * Midori shakes her head a little. "I'm... *cough* I'm f-fine... *cough cough* Just... my illness acting up..."
06[23:20] * Becky cocked her head to one side, hearing her cough. "How nostalgic...Well, here we are! The kitchen! Midori why don't you make me a snack...A rare steak?"
01[23:20] <Vincent> "Ah...sadly I cannot answer you Miranda, I can tell you however that it's not exactly safe...especially with the mist that never seems to settle, you could get lost again...or worse." Vincent took a sip from his tea.
[23:20] <Becky> "It'll help aquaint you all to the kitchen~"
[23:22] <Midori> "Oh... um... w-well, alright, I suppose I c-can do that for an old friend..." She smiles weakly, and sets about doing so! "D-does anyone else want anything...?"
[23:23] <Miranda> "W-Worse?! But I was just fine getting here...At least, I think...." she looks herself over, she doesn't seem hurt, just confused.
06[23:23] * Canis glanced between Rebecca and Midori. "I'll take the same if you can make it."
06[23:23] * Becky poured herself a glass of wine and sat on a barstool to watch Midori's cooking
[23:24] <Kaitah> "I...  Guess a steak sounds good..."
[23:24] <Midori> "I'm sure I can manage... S-so three rare steaks..."
01[23:25] <Vincent> "Well, I honestly cannot guarantee your safety if you go out by yourself. But if you insist I will not stop you..." Vincent seemed a bit dissapointed.
06[23:26] * Becky sifted her glass about, giving it a smell before taking a sip.
[23:27] <Becky> "How long has this aged I wonder~"
06[23:27] * Midori grabs a few steaks and begins to cook them up for everyone, even thinking to put on an additional few in case the Master should care for one, or the even newer maid... She adds on some nice spices and such as it cooks. Before too terribly long, she's serving a nice, rare steak to the three maids in the kitchen with her. Smells good! "H-here you go..."
[23:27] <Miranda> "No, I think I'm fine...Maybe some other time."
[23:29] <Becky> "Mmm~ I knew you could do it, Midori.." She was half-expecting her to fail, really. Or cough on her steak. Still bloody, she tore into it- squeezing a lemon over it.
06[23:29] * Midori did indeed cough several times while cooking... but always had the presence of mind to turn away from the frying pan, and to cover her mouth with her forearm rather than her hands. She smiles at the priase!"
01[23:29] <Vincent> "Ah, so you will stay? Then allow me to welcome you once more to our fine mansion, of course, I will expect you to earn your stay while you are here...still, feel free to make yourself at home."
[23:29] <Canis> "Did well. Thanks, Gray. Make something for yourself? Not hungry?"
[23:30] <Miranda> "Thank you..." she didn't feel she really had a choice...
06[23:30] * Kaitah makes a faint purring sound as she politely cuts pieces out of her stake and eats them

06[23:31] * Becky eats voraciously, having to wipe a streak of blood off her chin. "Do hurry so that we may continue you the tour..."
[23:32] <Canis> "That's no good." Canis offers her plate to the ailing girl. "Take some 'less you mind steak."

06[23:32] * Midori holds up her hands, politely declining to Canis, but smiling "Th-thank you, b-but I'm alright for now..."
01[23:32] <Vincent> "Why don't we go join the maids in the kitchen?" Vincent asked, standing back up and finishing his tea.
06[23:34] * Canis raises an unseen eyebrow, but takes the plate back before her and finishes tearing it up to devour it.
[23:34] <Miranda> "Alrighty." she leaves her full cup of tea at the table and follows behind him,
06[23:35] * Vincent walks through the main entrance towards the kitchen with Miranda, "This is our main hall, the mansion itself has two floors as well as a basement and a clocktower which serves as our attic for bric a brac." he informed her.
06[23:38] * Becky stands from the barstool, finishing her glass of wine and sensing the master nearby..
[23:38] <Miranda> "This place is very large, what exactly is it that you do?"

06[23:43] * Vincent stops by the kitchen, "It was no problem at al Miranda." he enters inside to see Becky picking on another maid, "Ah Rebecca, still as playful as ever I see."

06[23:43] * Canis stands with her plate, taking the others as she passes, to rinse them in the sink, put snapped them onto the table and shouldered herself next to Kait.
06[23:43] * Midori blinks, and smiles weakly, turning to the door as the master arrives. "Hello Master Leblanc... I m-made steaks for th-the others, a-and there are a few extras... I th-thought perhaps you and our newest arrival w-would like one?"
06[23:44] * Becky chuckled softly, "Such meek little lambs~ I could just EAT YOU UP." Becky licks her lips before backing up, "Where shall I take them next my lord?"
01[23:45] <Vincent> "Ah! Why thank you Midori, kind as always I see! Rebecca, please feel free to rest for now. I do believe we'll be receiving our first customer in a long while today..." Vincent suddenly smiled.

[23:46] <Becky> "Mmm, very well..." Becky sauntered over to Vincent and hung over his shoulder as always, "Shall I cut up your food for you, my lord?"
01[23:47] <Vincent> "Please do Rebecca, you always work quite wonderfully." Vincent replied without looking up at her, "So what do you think of my modest mansion girls?"
06[23:47] * Canis glanced at Becky as she stepped away from Yellow, picking the plates back up, unsure she wanted to handle knives in this mansion's atmosphere. "Oh. Hello again, Mister Leblanc. I will get a plate for you and...Miranda," Canis commented as she did so.

01[00:00] <Vincent> "Ah, I must admit it has been a while since the mansion has received any proper care..." Vincent's smile turned to a frown, "The last maids who were here left around...maybe 3 weeks ago? It was simply a bit much for Rebecca so I had her take of the more important places..."
06[00:00] * Becky scoffed, fanning herself. "Yes, 'important places'..."
[00:00] <Canis> "It's..." Canis paused for a moment, choosing her next words. "Just as I remember it, Mister Leblanc."
01[00:03] <Vincent> "Oh really now Canis? I'm glad to see you haven't completely forgotten this place!" Vincent seemed delighted, her finished up his meal and stood up. "Now, let us go greet our guest!" he started to walk towards the entrance.

[00:04] <Becky> "Hmmm, guest?" Becky followed closely behind Vincent, taking his arm.
06[00:05] * Miranda only finishes part of her food, she doesn't really have a big appetite right now.
01[00:06] <Vincent> "Now now Rebecca, we should act proffessional for when our guest arrives!" Vincent said with a smile, he didn't pull his arm away though. He stops in the entrance and seems to be waiting patiently for this 'guest' to arrive...
06[00:07] * Becky pulled away, smiling slyly, "Do forgive me, my lord~"
[00:07] <Kaitah> "I hope this guest isn't as scary as they are..."
06[00:08] * Canis had followed the line from the side, glancing back at Glasses and wondering when to finish tidying the kitchen up.

06[00:09] * Vincent continues smiling widely, waiting patiently with the others.

06[00:11] * Midori fidgets slightly where she waits, lapsing into coughing fits a few times... "M-master, are y-you sure someone is coming...?"
06[00:11] * Canis wants to lean against furniture or a wall, but Tophat is there and it wouldn't have good results.
01[00:13] <Vincent> "Of course." Vincent simply answers Midori.
01[00:13] <Vincent> A few more minutes pass...

06[00:15] * Kaitah sits down on the floor and yawns
06[00:16] * Becky fidgets on the spot
01[00:16] <Vincent> A knock is heard on the door.
06[00:16] * Canis gets increasingly uneas--ah!
06[00:16] * Becky snaps her fingers, "Midori."
[00:17] <Midori> "A-ah... o-okay..."
06[00:17] * Midori steps forward and opens the door!
01[00:20] <Vincent> Outside the door, a man in his mid thirties stands, a slightly receding hairline but well built. He looks to be about as nervous as the others as they were when they arrived..."C-could I come in?" he asked.
01[00:20] <Vincent> "Please Please! Feel free!" Vincent grows excited and motions for Midori to walk him to the living room.
06[00:20] * Midori smiles as bravely as she can... of course, she's shy as heck, so this isn't very bravely! She gives a slight bow. "O-of course, S-sir... w-we've been expecting you... p-please, right this way, the Master will see you..." She leads him in.

06[00:21] * Kaitah abruptly stands up
[00:21] <Miranda> "Another person? Why do so many people get lost out here?" she thinks to herself.
01[00:22] <Vincent> "Ah, a mystery in itself Miranda. Could you please fetch some tea for the man?" he asked, heading over to the living room as well.
06[00:24] * Becky followed after Vincent, but kept a 'professional' distance
06[00:25] * Midori asks the man as she walks, blushing a little more... it's so hard for her to keep her voice steady with a complete stranger! "M-may I ask for your n-name, S-sir?"
01[00:27] <Vincent> "M-my name? Doctor Jonathan Goldman..." the man answered the small maid as he walked, eventually Vincent arrived and he sat down in front of him, having his maids stand at attendance. "Well now my good man, shall I pencil you in for a one night stay?" Vincent asked.
06[00:27] * Midori nods, introducing him by the exact name given as she enters the living room with him, standing with the others and fighting off another short, light fit of coughing
01[00:27] <Vincent> The man seemed unsure what to respond..."A-ah...I suppose...I really must be getting back to my practice...but with this mist...my car suddenly stopped and I got lost..."
06[00:30] * Canis steps aside the coughing Midori once again. She offers a forarm in front of the girl with a curious sideways glance.
06[00:30] * Becky smiled knowingly
06[00:31] * Midori gives Canis a grateful smile, mouthing a 'thank you'
06[00:31] * Vincent nods, "Ah yes yes, such a troubling thing this mist. Please do stay for tonight! My maids would be happy to take care of you until you can leave." Vincent smiles widely, bowing slightly, amazingly enough his hat remains firmly attached to his head.
06[00:31] * Canis meanwhile wonders how Leblanc expected this guest--or if the guest had a different story.
[00:33] <Miranda> "What happens to people after their stay here?" she asks Vincent, fearing the answer somewhat.
06[00:33] * Becky covers up her mouth and turns away, trying not to laugh
01[00:34] <Vincent> "Girls, today is our first guest in a long time, please be hospitable to him." he gets up and speaks joyously to the girls. "Ah Miranda? What happens? Why, they leave. Simple as that!" he answered.
01[00:34] <Vincent> "Now please stand ready while I assign you you're tasks..." Vincent called out.
06[00:34] * Midori nods to Vincent. "Of c-course, Master..."
06[00:35] * Miranda doesn't seem content with this answer, but stands ready to repay her debt.
06[00:37] * Canis turns herself to the doctor with a blank face. "Mister Goldman, I am Canis. Please call for myself or one of the others should you need one of us."
01[00:38] <Vincent> "I'd like you girls to prepare some food for our guest, clean the guest room, sweep the main hall as well as prepare a fire in this room...it's getting a bit, cold." He informed everyone.
[00:38] <Midori> "I c-can handle cleaning the guest room, M-master...
01[00:38] <Vincent> "Ah...thank you m-miss Canis..." Goldman replied.
[00:38] <Kaitah> "I'll sweep the halls..."
06[00:39] * Midori gives the doctor a polite bow! "And I'm M-Midori... it's a p-pleasure to meet you, S-sir..."
01[00:39] <Vincent> "Ah...you're the maid that answered the door to me. P-please take good care of me." the man bowed to the young maid.
06[00:40] * Canis turned back to Leblanc, hearing him and nodding, then turning to the other maids. "I'm going to strike up the fire. If you need help, I'll join in."
06[00:40] * Midori smiles. "I w-will... if y-you'll excuse me..." She heads off towards the guest room, heard coughing again once she's out of the room.
06[00:41] * Miranda was feeling a bit cold herself so she goes over to the fireplace to find the matches.
06[00:42] * Becky smiled and sneakilyy followed Midori
06[00:42] * Canis went with Miranda to the fireplace. She was having a hard time recalling how to light a fireplace, but it didn't seem too difficult.
01[00:42] <Vincent> "I'll retreat to my room for now my goodman. Please feel free to look around our humble abode!" Vincent bowed again to goldman in a very grandiose manner and walked away.
06[00:42] * Midori blinks and looks behind her once she's finished coughing, clearing her throat. "oh, h-hi Rebecca..."
06[00:42] * Kaitah heads off in search of a broom
01[00:43] <Vincent> Goldman sat by himself in the living room...perhaps he should take him up on his offer?
[00:43] <Becky> "Call me Becky..." she smiled and procured a feather duster to help clean up the room.
06[00:45] * Midori smiles, helping with the cleaning as well! "O-okay... B-Becky... if you want y-you can call me... um... Mimi? I d-don't know, I don't really have a nickname..."
01[00:45] <Vincent> Goldman walked over to Canis and Miranda, "Ah...good evening Miss canis..."
06[00:45] * Canis looks up at Miranda, wordlessly suggesting a joint effort
06[00:45] * Kaitah finally finds a broom, but after only making a few sweeping motions, she's overcome with despair and leans against the wall, resting her forehead against her arm...
06[00:45] * Miranda nods back and begins to help her as they both light the fire.
[00:46] <Becky> "Mimi..How charming~" Becky finished dusting somewhat and then sat on the bed with a yawn.
06[00:47] * Canis starts with with Miranda and fiddles with it for a moment, getting a bright fire in no time at all
01[00:47] <Vincent> Goldman seems unnerved that Canis isn't answering him...
06[00:47] * Miranda smiles triumphantly. Maybe she didn't need magic for everything after all...
06[00:48] * Midori clasps her hands in front of her, toeing at the ground a bit. "I g-guess... s-so how close w-were we before...?"
[00:48] <Miranda> "Psst, I think the guest is talking to you!"
06[00:48] * Canis stood, smoothing her clothes as she stepped back from the lit fireplace, turning around.
06[00:49] * Becky raised an eyebrow, "Do you really want to know...?"
[00:49] <Canis> "Ah, Mister Goldman, I'm sorry for the delay. I thought a warm fire would raise your spirits. Is there something you wanted of me?"
06[00:49] * Midori nods. "W-well, I... I f-feel bad for not remembering... s-so I figure if you w-were to tell me, I would know..."
06[00:50] * Becky stood slowly, sauntering over to Midori...
01[00:51] <Vincent> Goldman is standing right behind Canis, "I simply wondered i-if I could observe you, to be honest, I've never seen a maid before..." Goldman didn't look as if he had any ill intentions, after all...but were maids such a novelty thing? What day and age were they in anyways?
06[00:51] * Kaitah briefly contemplates trying to sweep again, and with a sour look, tosses the broom carelessly back into the supply closet
06[00:52] * Midori blinks at Becky, backing away just a little... She looks somewhat unsure. "Umm..."
[00:52] <Becky> "This close." Becky roughly pinned Midori to the wall, eyeing her hungrily.
06[00:52] * Kaitah slumps down and glares at the panelling
[00:53] <Canis> "You don't meet any in your line of work? Then, you're free to observe as you like. I'll try to be a good example for the profession."
06[00:54] * Midori gasps as she's pinned to the wall, squirming slightly... she seems only mildly uncomfortable, however... "W-were we?
01[00:54] <Vincent> "Ah...thank you miss Canis, you're too kind. And you are?" Goldman turned to Miranda, trying to coax a name.
[00:55] <Miranda> "A-Ah, hello! My name is Miranda."
01[00:55] <Vincent> "Ah, hello Miss Miranda!" Goldman smiled, "Haha, you remind me of this girl I used to treat back at the hospital. Such a nice kid."
06[00:56] * Becky nodded, pressing herself against Midori, licking at her cheek. "I remember your taste well enough~ we were VERY close, you and I...So you'd never think of betraying me, would you?"
06[00:56] * Miranda was unsure if she should take this as a compliment. "Umm...Thankyou?"
01[00:58] <Vincent> "Ah, sorry. I get nostalgic sometimes. Beyond that, what other tasks are you expected to do?" Goldman looked a bit curious.
[00:58] <Miranda> "I assume we clean...and cook."
[00:59] <Canis> "Those would be most of our duties. We also tend to guests, such as yourself, to make them feel welcome."
01[01:00] <Vincent> "Ah, seems like a good experience for such young ladies. You'll get to meet lots of different people!" Goldman seemed to approve of their diligence.
06[01:03] * Canis tried to give a warming smile, though it didn't seem to come naturally, so she bowed slightly instead. "Is there something you want to do during your stay tonight?"
01[01:04] <Vincent> "Ah, well a bit of food would be nice..." Goldman asked.
01[01:05] <Vincent> The panneling does not respond to Kaitah's glare.
[01:05] <Canis> "We should do something about that. What would you like?"
[01:05] <Miranda> "Y-Yes, right away!" she says, standing up and rushing to the kitchen.
01[01:06] <Vincent> "Umm...some fish would be nice." Goldman asked, apparently he wasn't the really demanding type.
[01:08] <Canis> "I'll see if we have some, then. Please relax in front of the fire, or call for one of us if you need something else. Pardon me," Canis finished, offering another slight bow before following Miranda to the kitchen.
[01:09] <Canis> "Gla-, er, Mira, can we find any fish here?"
01[01:14] <Vincent> Goldman nodded but didn't feel the desire to sit still...he decided to walk to the main hall, where he saw another one of the maids staring at a wall. He approached Kaitah slowly from behind to try and not surprise her.
06[01:14] * Midori finds herself breathing a little heavier with Becky so close... she feels warm, her face flushing, but it feels so RIGHT like this! She closes her eyes, giving the tiniest ghost of a cough. "N-no, Becky... I'd... n-never betray you... I promise I w-wont forget again... I swear it."
[01:16] <Becky> "Mmm, much better~" she kissed Midori's cheek, "Come now, I'm sure there's much more work to be done." Becky smiled wickedly as she walked away.
06[01:17] * Midori pants a little as her cheek is kissed, envisioning more... getting ready to do more! Then Becky pulls away, leaving her feeling flushed and... well... She straightens out her uniform just a bit, following right behind Becky. "R-right..."
01[01:17] <Vincent> "Hello there, what are you doing?" Goldman asked from right behind Kaitah's back.
06[01:18] * Kaitah turns to face him, her expression largely unchanged
[01:19] <Kaitah> "Pardon me."  She growls out, before heading off in the opposite direction he came from.
06[01:19] * Canis found fish stocked in the kitchen easily enough. A nagging concern about its origin scolded her in the back of her head, but she did want to be a good maid--among other details, Leblanc bothered her...scared? No way.
[01:19] <Miranda> "I'm not that good at cooking, do you mind helping me again?" she says, turning to Canis
06[01:20] * Becky arrives back downstairs with Midori, spotting Goldman and Kaitah, "Hmmm? Ah, Mr.Goldman, I didn't have the time to introduce myself~"
01[01:20] <Vincent> "Ah...I do wonder what's wrong with her?" Goldman asked himself. He turned when he heard another voice call out to him, "Ah, good day...you are...the head maid correct?" Goldman guessed simply from Becky's poise and confident look.
[01:20] <Canis> "I'm not skilled myself, Mira, but it feels strangely familiar to be in here, so I think I might be able to get something done..."
06[01:21] * Becky curtsied with a smile, "Is it that obvious? Please, do call me Rebecca. Was miss Kaitah being short with you?"
01[01:22] <Vincent> "Ah...I suppose she was being a little difficult...maybe I interrupted her in the middle of work?"
[01:23] <Becky> "Ahh~ But a maid should always be pleasant to her master's guest, I would consider disciplining her properly...But only at your behest!" Becky's eyes looked pleading, she WANTED very much to discipline Kaitah
06[01:24] * Canis manages to make something /almost/ workable, but luckly Miranda adds that extra push! An edible fish dish results!
[01:24] <Miranda> "I hope it tastes alright..."
[01:26] <Canis> "It looks good 'nuff, lets call him to the dining room, eh, Mira?"
06[01:26] * Miranda "Mira?" she thinks to herself. "Umm, OK."
01[01:26] <Vincent> "Ah well...perhaps a bit of disciplinary action could be required...it builds character and helps smooth down sharp edges..." Goldman seemed to agree with Becky's way of thinking after a little while...
06[01:27] * Becky lit up, "I do so agree!" Becky bowed and skipped off, ecstatic, heading off to find Kaitah
[01:29] <Miranda> "E-Everyone, dinner is ready!" she announces.
06[01:30] * Canis gathers half the dishes and moves them to the dinner table, returning for the other half and placing them down as well. That completed, she stands by the dinnertable, tapping her toe for the moment.

06[01:34] * Becky grabs a tray and bows before heading up to the master's room, "Such an exciting day, isn't it my lord?" Becky set down the tray near Vincent
06[01:35] * Canis growled softly to herself after Red left, hoping nobody heard her do so.
06[01:35] * Kaitah starts trying to open some of the doors she encounters
01[01:35] <Vincent> "Ah yes Rebecca, it's always quite invigorating to hear the sounds of the maids running around and caring for a new guest! I do so hope they're taking good care of him!" he smiles at Becky, "Oh and Becky, please do take it easy on Kaitah...alright?" he advised her, taking a bite out of his food.
06[01:36] * Becky kneads the master's shoulders, "Hmm, if you insist my lord~"
06[01:38] * Kaitah finally opens one and crawls underneath a bed with particularly long sheets
01[01:38] <Vincent> "Thank you Rebecca." Vincent returned to calling her by her usual name. He was reading and writing something...looked to be interesting to him. "Please go eat with the other maids, I wish to be left alone for now."
06[01:39] * Becky was letting her eyes wander, "Hmm? Oh...Yes, my master..." sounding disappointed, she bowed and left the master's room to head down to the kitchen
06[01:41] * Kaitah starts crying, and strains herself to stifle the sobs in hope of not being discovered
06[01:42] * Becky quickly ate dinner, and set off to find Kaitah again! Wandering about the mansion like a game of hide and seek. "Kaaaiitaaaah? Where aaaaare youuu~?"
06[01:43] * Kaitah starts rocking back and forth at the noise, holding her hands over her ears
06[01:44] * Midori rubs her forehead a little, clearing it of the nervous little sweat that accumulated after Becky's act with her... She slips out of the room, making her way downstairs, intent on finding something to do...
01[01:45] <Vincent> Goldman eats his dinner without trouble, he thanks Miranda and Canis for their meal and wanders off, all these young girls sure were nice to him! Maybe it wasn't such a bad thing that his car broke down after he left the hospital...
[01:46] <Becky> "I just want to taaalk~" Becky pouted... "Don't think I don't know where you're hiding...You better speak up now!"
06[01:49] * Miranda takes his dish once he's dance and returns it to the kitchen to wash it with the others.
06[01:49] * Kaitah 's head begins to hurt, as if someone was sawing it in half...  Her first instinct is to cry out in pain, but it almost feels like something else pushes harder for silence...
01[01:50] <Vincent> Goldman wanders upstairs to look around, feeling a bit curious about the clocktower he saw earlier.
06[01:50] * Canis sees Goldman enjoy his meal--that was good, the man looked more calm. Glancing back at Miranda, she offers a "I'mma find the others. Haven't seen them in a while!" half-shout as she leaves.
06[01:50] * Becky taps her heel on the floor, "You hide well for a lamb~ Guess we'll play some other time.." Becky walked away, humming to herself.
[01:51] <Miranda> "OK!" she tries to call back before she leaves earshot.
06[01:51] * Kaitah feels her hair shift, and her teeth feel like they're growing
[01:51] <Kaitah> ...
06[01:52] * Kaitah has no idea what she's doing underneath this bed!
06[01:52] * Midori sighs as she looks over one of the other rooms upstairs... she thinks this one would be a maid quarters? Listlessly, she begins to clean up a bit, but the dust she kicks up aggrivates her lungs a little bit. Once she has the room looking -quite- appropriate to live in, she gives in to a fit of coughing, leaning against the dresser to steady herself.
06[01:53] * Canis stalked nearer to the center of the house. There were obvious footsteps in at least two directions, but the directions were vague.
06[01:53] * Becky hears some coughing down the hall now and heads over, "Midori~?"
06[01:53] * Kaitah crawls out from under the bed with a vacant stare
06[01:54] * Midori looks over to the door as Becky appears, smiling weakly. "H-hi Becky... I j-just thought I would do some extra cleaning... the dust..."
[01:56] <Becky> "Poor thing~" Becky yawns, "I couldn't find miss Kaitah..And then I heard you coughing, just thought I'd pop in."
06[01:56] * Canis strolls around the house, pausing at an open door. She raps on the doorframe to get the attention of the Kaitah under the bed.
[01:56] <Canis> [crawling out from under***]
06[01:56] * Midori nods. "Okay... I c-can help you look in a few minutes if you like, but I need to r-rest a little bit first..." She smiles endearingly... it seems she's taken what Becky said about thier prior relationship to heart, she's very well acting as though she's supposed to be intimately close with the other maid.
01[01:57] <Vincent> Goldman looks out a window overlooking outside from the second floor, the view is pretty...bleak. He can make out shapes here and there but frankly can't see all that well at distances without his glasses.
[01:57] <Kaitah> "...  Greetings...  Canis."
[01:58] <Becky> "I could use a rest myself~" Becky sauntered inside and lounged about on a bed, "The master is reading a book in his room, no telling when he'll snap out of it~"
[01:59] <Kaitah> " I seem to be...  Missing something...  She stares at her hands and flexes them, her newly found claws bringing tiny orbs of crimson out of her palms.
[01:59] <Canis> "Yo. Had trouble with Red? Leblanc?"
[01:59] <Kaitah> *something..."
06[01:59] * Midori nods a little to Becky, clasping her hands demurely in front of her. "I s-see... d-does he get hard to interrupt when r-reading?"
06[01:59] * Miranda finishes washing the dishes and wanders out of the kitchen. "Oh my, where is everyone?" she wonders and starts to walk around while humming to herself.
[02:00] <Kaitah> "I don't seem to recall any altercations."
06[02:00] * Becky smiles slyly, "Oh, I can pull him away from his books when I'm in the mood...But he'll just end up reading again if I interrupt him."
06[02:01] * Midori nods a little "I see... our m-master sounds like something of a handful then." She giggles softly at the thought
[02:01] <Canis> "You look pale. Also, those ears real?"
06[02:03] * Becky giggles, "Something like that.." she curls up on the bed, "Hmm, perhaps we should...Dust the basement?"
06[02:03] * Midori nods... "W-we can... b-but I might need to sit down again, my lungs... they d-don't really like dust..."
[02:05] <Kaitah> "Yes.  Now, if you don't mind, may I ask what it is you came looking for me about?"
01[02:05] <Vincent> Goldman heard some talking in a room nearby, he poked his head in and saw Becky and Midori together. "Ah...s-sorry am I interrupting something?"
06[02:06] * Becky rolled over, spotting Goldman, "Hmm? Nothing at all, Mr.Goldman." she smiled coyly and stood, "Did you need anything?"
06[02:06] * Midori looks over to Goldman and smiles, giving him a slight bow. "N-not really, S-sir..."
[02:07] <Canis> "Haven't seen you'r Midori in a while; didn't come to dinner. Let's get those palms washed up--don't wanna get blood on anything."
01[02:07] <Vincent> "O-oh, no not at all. I was simply walking around. Did you already discipline the other maid?" Goldman seemed a bit surprised that Becky had already completed what she had set out to do earlier.
06[02:07] * Midori blinks, looking to Becky, slightly suprisedly. "D-discipline?"
06[02:08] * Becky yawned, "It's a large mansion, the little rascal's been hiding~" she flashed a gaze at Midori, "I discipline only to better you maids, dear~ I've disciplined you...Many a time in the past."
06[02:09] * Midori blushes deeply at the mention of THAT! Her mind going in some... illicit... directions... "I... I s-see... I s-suppose you'll... uhm... h-have to discpline me again at some point... huh?"
01[02:09] <Vincent> "...I guess I am interrupting something..." Goldman blushed as well seeing something that looked forbidden here.
[02:10] <Midori> "Oh! N-no sir, not at-" She breaks down into a coughing fit. "N-not *cough* at all...!"
06[02:10] * Becky smiled, revelling in the meek girl's reaction, "Was that an invitation, miss? It just may happen if you don't mind yourself~ but I'll be gentle..." Becky returned her gaze to Goldman, "Come now, let's let the poor girl rest." and made to exit the room
01[02:11] <Vincent> "A-actually, I'm a bit worried about her cough." Goldman admitted, "It looks rather serious..."
[02:12] <Becky> "Hmm, you'll tend to her then? I suppose I'll look for Kaitah again..."
[02:14] <Kaitah> "Yes, it's quite important to leave no traces behind..."
01[02:14] <Vincent> "Ah...don't worry, I'll try my best to heal her. That kind of cough looks rather bad." Goldman nodded, he had a small bag of instruments with him since he came. Perhaps he had thought he'd rather not leave the tools of his trade inside his car?
[02:15] <Miranda> "Where is everyone?!" she wonders, still wandering the mansion as she walks up the stairs.
06[02:16] * Becky encounters Miranda while trying to find Kaitah, "Ahh, hello there~"
[02:16] <Miranda> "O-Oh hello." she says. It's the strange girl...
06[02:16] * Canis wasn't comforted by the tone of voice used, but beckoned her along anyways, pointing to an adjoining guest bathroom.
[02:17] <Becky> "And how are you doing, hmm? Need any help?"
01[02:18] <Vincent> "M-Midori, I hope you don't mind that I examine you. Your cough sounds pretty worrysome." Goldman said, looking through his bag and pulling out a popsickle stick as well as a small light.
06[02:18] * Midori blinks to Goldman and fidgets just a little bit... doctors have always made her a little nervous... wait, have they? She can't remember... "I s-suppose that would be alright, S-sir... you are a doctor, afterall!"
06[02:19] * Kaitah wordlessly washes her hands, digs out some bandages and applies them herself
06[02:19] * Kaitah watches Canis through the mirror, and calls out "Was there anything else you wanted?"
[02:20] <Miranda> "U-Uh no, I'm just fine. I was just looking around."
01[02:21] <Vincent> Goldman asks her to open her mouth and stick out her tongue, he places the popsickle stick and presses her tongue down, looking at her throat with his light. "So, does it hurt when you cough? Could you tell me where you're coughing from?" Goldman seemed to have gotten more confidence while he was doing his job.
[02:22] <Becky> "Would you like me to give you a tour of the more...Interesting places of note in this mansion?"
06[02:22] * Canis is starting to be disconcerted by the girl's change in demeanor. Did something serious happen? With that Red? Tche. "You didn't eat dinner. There's a plate in the kitchen for you. One for Gray, too. Seen her?"
[02:23] <Miranda> "Places of note?" she sounded a bit intrigued. Before she could refuse, her curiosity got the better of her and she blurted out. "Sure!"
06[02:24] * Midori tries to answer with her tongue held down... though, naturally she has very limited success in the matter! It sounds something like "Ehh hahh il ig hah"...
[02:24] <Becky> "Excellent..How about..The clock tower! It has such a lovely view...Of the mist." she joked. Though she did like to sit up there at times. "Follow me~"
01[02:25] <Vincent> "Ah, pardon me." Goldman took out the popsickle stick and let her talk, her rummaged through his bag and pulled out a thermometer which he told her to put in her armpit.
[02:26] <Miranda> "Alright." she was already regretting this but she followed her anyway.
[02:26] <Kaitah> "I'm afraid I can't recall seeing her today.  If that was all I'll be fetching my meal now."
06[02:26] * Midori blinks a little at that... the armpit seems an odd place to put a thermometer. But she's not the doctor... she does as asked. "Wh-what I was trying to say was, yes, sometimes the coughing is painful... n-nothing I can't handle though... a-and I cough from the chest... are y-you familiar with G-Garick's Syndrome?"
06[02:27] * Becky hummed to herself, since they were already upstairs it was a short trip up to the clocktower, "The master keeps many things up her...These possessions are the closest things we have to memories in this mansion." swept about with a duster as she went, "Do mind the spiders and the spinning gears overhead~"
01[02:27] <Vincent> "Ah, Garick's syndrome? So you have that condition?" Goldman seemed to pause, he took back the thermometer and checked the number before putting it away.
06[02:28] * Canis tilted her head up and to the side so she could look at Kaitah past her bangs, with one gold eye. After a moment, she shrugged plainly .
[02:28] <Kaitah> /me strolls off noiselessly in the direction of the dining room.
01[02:28] <Vincent> "...I remember another patient of mine who had Garick's syndrome, poor child..."
[02:28] <Miranda> "Memories? Do you mean even the master doesn't remember anything about himself?"
[02:28] <Canis> "Sounds fine. Call if you need me, then," she scoffed and searched around, herself.
06[02:29] * Midori nods to him... "Y-yes... I w-was born with it. It's... n-not so bad though. If I c-can get the Master to l-let me have soem cough syrup, or throat spray, it's quite t-tolerable...
06[02:31] * Becky sighed, "The master doesn't like talking about himself. Or rather, he's very cryptic...I know what he likes, and does not like. The things you come to know living with someone. Nothing more. A dusty old book on a shelf so high up you'd never be able to reach it." she sighed wistfully.
01[02:33] <Vincent> "I...I think I have something here that can alieviate your pain in here. Oh, could you please use this?" Goldman hands Midori a pump to check her blood pressure. He continued looking through his bag, looking for Midori's pain reliever..."You know, that girl I was talking about earlier? I did manage to help her too." he smiled nostalgically.
[02:34] <Midori> "You do...? D-do you normally carry cough drops with you?" She smiles, taking the blood pressure pump and fixing it around her arm, beginning to pump it up a little... She's happy! He's got something to help her cough. Her throat's getting so raw... "D-did you? You must be an e-excellent doctor."
06[02:34] * Canis stomps around, walking to the front door for a moment, in curiosity.
01[02:36] <Vincent> "Ah yes...I was quite a good doctor...but never quite good enough unfortunately...I could never quite find a way to make the pain go away...until one night, the solution hit me." Goldman smiled, taking something that glittered lightly, he cupped Midori's cheek in his hand.
[02:36] <Miranda> "Have you ever tried to leave?"
06[02:36] * Midori blinks and looks away from the blood pressure checker, eyes going to the glittering... "H-huh?"
06[02:36] * Vincent pulled down across Midori's neck, a scalpel in his hands, dripping with blood.
06[02:37] * Kaitah arrives at the dining room and sits down at her plate, spending far more time cutting the food than eating it
01[02:37] <Vincent> "This was the way I took away her pain Miss Midori..."
06[02:38] * Becky turned to Miranda, "L-Leave...?" her face looked like glass ready to shatter, "Haha...Haha.." she laughed softly to herself, "Leave...? I can't leave! No...No, I'm not going back out there again. In that mist..." Becky shuddered
06[02:38] * Midori 's eyes go wide, spotting what he has... then... pain! A line of fire, drawn across her throat! She screams... or rather, she tries to, coming out as nothing but a pitiful gurgle, blood giving a very brief spray across the doctors face and chest as he slices. She gives him a frantic shove, pushing him away from her, stumbling for the door. Her cries for help... like her scream, mere gurgles.
06[02:38] * Kaitah 's nose twitches...  Immediately picking up the scent of blood, she stands up and heads for Vincent's room
06[02:39] * Kaitah knocks on the door loudly.  "Master, I believe there are hostilities occuring within the manor.  Could you remind me where I left my whip?"
[02:39] <Miranda> "What? Why not? What's out there?! You must know, you have to!"
06[02:41] * Becky gripped her shoulders kneeling down, her hardened exterior faded. "Have you ever looked into a mirror in the black of night? See something that made you turn the light back on? Run away? Deep in the mist...There's something very, very wrong. T-The master keeps us safe! PLEASE don't go out there, do you understand?"
06[02:41] * Canis steels herself and abruptly swings open the front door, staring out into the fog, remembering the trees and cages Gray spotted.
01[02:41] <Vincent> Goldman cleans off his scalpel of blood with a napkin, "I suppose not everyone at the hospital understood...which is why I had to run away from it before I came here...they just couldn't understand your suffering like I did Miss Midori...you're eyes are so beautiful...so pure...I don't want you to suffer anymore Midori..." Goldman smiled, walking towards her with an outstretched hand.
06[02:42] * Midori brings a hand up to her throat, trying desperately to stop the flowing of her lifeblood, stop it from flowing down to -cover- her uniform. Her other hand gripping the door knob and pulling it open violently. But she's so weak at this point... her head spinning, she collapses just in the door way, where she writhes impotently, looking back to Goldman, lips forming the question she can't ask...
[02:42] <Midori> "Why?"
[02:42] <Miranda> "I-I don't know what you're talking about, but I don't want to stay here forever, I can't! What if I have friends, or a family?
06[02:42] * Midori slowly goes still... the youthful, and happy despite her illness, sparkle leaving her eyes forever.
01[02:43] <Vincent> "I did it to heal you, I am a doctor after all Miss Midori..." Goldman walked over to her, closing her eyes.
06[02:43] * Becky looked at her like she was the one talking crazy, "Friends? Family? Do you REALLY remember them?"
[02:44] <Miranda> "W-Well no...But what if they still remember me?"
[02:44] <Miranda> "Maybe if I get away from here, from the mist, I'll remember something."
06[02:44] * Kaitah walks upstairs towards the source of the scent
06[02:45] * Midori lays there, her eyes now closed. She looks almost peaceful... except that her neck is sliced wide open, and the entire front of her uniform is totally covered in blood... a very copious trail of it marking where exactly she was killed, and her feeble attempt at escape.
06[02:45] * Becky paused, "I hate to say this...But there's no telling time in this place. If we're even on the same planet...Astral plane! They may very well have died as you walked in the door, and it's been two hundered years there. You can't escape this mist. Please believe me."
06[02:45] * Canis stares out into the fog, daring it. But she can't summon the Will to step over that doorframe.
01[02:46] <Vincent> The wind blows into Canis' face...she can her something creaking nearby...metal?
06[02:47] * Canis reacts to the sound as a challenge, and swears once, shouting loudly.
01[02:47] <Vincent> Goldman stays with Midori's limp body for a moment, giving her a short eulegy before leaving out the door.
06[02:47] * Kaitah calls out "Who's spilling blood all over the nice, clean floors?~"
[02:48] <Miranda> "What are you talking about? You're insane!" she says, stepping away from Becky slowly.
06[02:48] * Kaitah opens a supply closet, digging around a short while before uncovering her trusted whip.  Her hands feel whole again...
06[02:49] * Becky glared and grabbed Miranda's wrist. "I'll show you! I'll prove it!" and roughly began to drag her downstairs...Planning to head to the well.
[02:49] <Miranda> "L-Let go of me! You're crazy!" she says being dragged along
06[02:50] * Kaitah follows the scent to the scene of the murder.
06[02:50] * Becky arrives with Miranda in the backyard, the vague shape of a well off in the distance in the mist, she seems to be holding Miranda's wrist for support now. "Let's go."
[02:50] <Miranda> "F-Fine!"
06[02:51] * Kaitah whistles the tune of "Ring Around the Rosy" and swings the whip back and forth in front of her
06[02:51] * Becky stepped off into the mist, "This is the best way..It's what I used when I tried to leave, you can use the well as a vantage point...But any further than that..."
[02:51] <Miranda> "What's the well do?"
06[02:53] * Kaitah cracks open the door of the room
[02:53] <Becky> "I seem to remember...Falling down it once. Yes. But that's all. Perhaps it was a dream.." the pair arrived at the well, Becky felt very uneasy looking down it. "S-Say something loudly into it, it'll....Echo."
[02:53] <Miranda> "H-Hello?"
01[02:53] <Vincent> Goldman is already downstairs in the living room, drinking some tea.
01[02:54] <Vincent> Kaitah can't fully open the door...something is blocking the way...
[02:54] <Kaitah> "Hah...  The cleaning isn't getting anywhere today..."
06[02:55] * Becky tapped her heel, it didn't seem to be working like it used to...
06[02:56] * Kaitah heads downstairs to find Canis
[02:56] <Miranda> "See? You're crazy! It's just a well..."
06[02:57] * Becky grabbed her hand again, "T-The mist then! That'll show you!" she stomped off into the mist with Miranda, murmuring. "I'm not crazy...I'm not...This mist...It's evil! EVIL!"
06[02:57] * Canis thumped her fist to her chest, focusing on the throb and closing her eyes and stepped forward, breaking into speed.
[02:57] <Kaitah> "Excuse me?!  I went upstairs to clean up a mess I smelled, and the door was stuck!"
[02:57] <Miranda> "W-Wait! Didn't you and the master say not to go out here?!" she says, worried but not able to get her hand free.
01[02:58] <Vincent> The well behind Becky echos..."Hello?"...why did it take so long?
[02:59] <Becky> "You're the one who wanted to know! And I'll show you!" Becky froze. "T-The mist...Oh god...W-Why.." she looked behind briefly, they could still see the well at least. Was proving a point to Miranda worth the trauma? "Just...Look. I'm not going any further."
06[02:59] * Canis ground her feet in and opened her eyes, looking around. Did she really step out of the Mansion into the fog? She turns all about.
06[02:59] * Kaitah looks around at the emptiness and sighs.
01[02:59] <Vincent> Goldman had cleaned himself of all the blood right before he left the room...and had pulled Midori's body to block the door...no blood dripped out under the door however as Midori had spilt most of it from trying to drag herself to the door.
[03:00] <Kaitah> "Never around when you need them."
[03:00] <Miranda> "N-No! You dragged me out here so we might as well go all the way with it."
01[03:00] <Vincent> The fog around Canis is quite...the wind silent...another sound of creaking can be heard...
06[03:02] * Becky pulled a bundle of twine from her apron, tying one end to her wrist and the other to Miranda's. "I...I can't. If you see something...T-Then that's enough! That'll prove it! And you'll run back here as fast as you can! Okay...?"
06[03:02] * Kaitah steps into the door fram and calls out into the mist "It isn't wise to leave doors open like that!"
[03:02] <Miranda> "N-No! don't leave me out here!" she says, looking around in all directions for whatever it was Becky wanted her to see.
01[03:03] <Vincent> The wind grows quiet around Miranda...
06[03:03] * Becky teared up, backing towards the well, "It's coming..."
01[03:03] <Vincent> Miranda can hear something...sloshing...
06[03:04] * Miranda spins around back and forth, looking for the source of the noise "H-Hello?"
01[03:05] <Vincent> Miranda hears her echo from the well..."Hello..." wait...why did the well's echo respond so quickly?...and from so far away?
01[03:05] <Vincent> Canis can hear Kaitah calling!
06[03:05] * Becky gets to the well, and hears the voice, "M-Miranda! We have to go!"
[03:06] <Miranda> "No! I want to find out what's out here! I want to go home!"
01[03:06] <Vincent> Becky can hear the sloshing from close by...
01[03:06] <Vincent> "...we have to go..." the well echos...
06[03:06] * Becky jumped and ran back to Miranda picking her up, "THE MANSION IS YOUR HOME." and began running madly for the safety of the mansion
[03:07] <Miranda> "But it was almost here! Whatever it was! This mansion isn't my home. I may not remember what was, but it can't be this place!"
01[03:07] <Vincent> "....this place..." the well echos...the sloshing from nearby stops...
[03:08] <Canis> "H-Hello? Who was that?" Canis figures that it's someone from inside the mansion, but she's growing spooked by the creaking, and tries to run back to where she came, spotting something large and lit, the mansion!
01[03:08] <Vincent> The creaking grows close to Canis...
01[03:08] <Vincent> The wind starts to pick up around her...
06[03:09] * Becky she shook her head crying, "You don't want to know! God, what was I thinking!? Please let us get back..." she spots the mansion through the fog, almost there! She's wandered out this far before, and always been able to come back. I-It should be ok!
06[03:09] * Kaitah steps outside the doorway and goes down the steps
[03:10] <Miranda> "Tell me! You can't just keep me prisoner here!"
01[03:10] <Vincent> The wind picks up around Becky...it looked like the sloshing had stopped...however...the mist looked like it was...thickening...
[03:10] <Kaitah> "It's Kaitah, hurry back already, there's a stuck door and I'm too small to get it open!"
06[03:11] * Becky stopped falling to her knees. "What have I done...Miranda...I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry...I-I'll take you home, ok...?" she began to stroke Miranda's hair slowly
06[03:11] * Canis 's ears fill with the creaking. With the howling wind. With half-heard shouts.
[03:11] <Miranda> "R-Really?" she says, frightened more by Becky's sudden mood swings than the noise that followed. "How?"
01[03:12] <Vincent> The creaking stops.
06[03:12] * Canis , for all her bravado, can't stand it anymore and slams her knees into the ground, curling up and letting out a terrified shout
[03:13] <Canis> "Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!" Canis screamed at the ground, into the wind, drowning out the creaking from her ears, screaming louder until she didn't hear it anymore.
[03:13] <Becky> "I-I..." she laughed, shaking her head, "No, that won't work..." she stood again, letting go of Miranda. "I survived seeing it. I may not a second time, but you'll make it. And know that there is no escape. The mansion is an oasis in the very pit of HELL." Becky stood firm, awaiting their fate. She cried loudly, "I'M RIGHT HERE."
01[03:14] <Vincent> One slow last creak can be heard...something opening...slowly.......
06[03:14] * Kaitah 's head jerks a bit, and her expression shifts slightly.  "H-hold on!  I'll be there in a bit!"
[03:15] <Miranda> "W-Who are you talking to? Didn't you say we had to go back?"
06[03:15] * Kaitah sets off at as brisk a pace as she can manage to find Canis
06[03:16] * Becky scanned the area, "But the mist is thicker here...I-I'm not sure how to get back now. If we get to the well we can see the mansion..."
[03:16] <Miranda> "What if we fight that...That thing?"
[03:16] <Miranda> "I might...I might be able to fight, I don't remember..."
06[03:17] * Canis 's scream paused and resumed once before it falls away, leaving her crouched to the ground swearing repeatedly with a tired throat
06[03:17] * Becky laughed weakly, "Fight...? I..." seeing it the first time, fighting was definitely the LAST thing on her mind.
06[03:18] * Becky grabbed her hand again, heading for the well, "I don't think that's a good idea."
[03:19] <Miranda> "I guess you're right if you said you've seen it..." she tries to keep up with her as they search for the well.
06[03:19] * Kaitah grabs one of Cani's hands with a worried look in her eyes, but a mostly empty expression
01[03:20] <Vincent> The creaking stops again...it's nearby...will you look for it?
[03:20] <Becky> "S-so you do believe me...? That's good...It's so scary... out here...Even if you somehow made it back home...You wouldn't be the person your friends and family knew." the pair arrived at the well. Can they spot the mansion?
06[03:21] * Canis flails a moment before slapping herself with her free hand, looking up at Kaitah with tearing eyes.
[03:21] <Kaitah> "Get UP, there are things in the mansion to worry about now!"
[03:23] <Canis> "Y-y-yes, I... Okay. Okay. Okay. Okayokay. Okay. Okay," Canis chants breathlessly, getting her feet under her at the flash of yellow and green.
06[03:23] * Becky sighs with relief heading for the mansion with Miranda, letting go of her hand and unwinding the twine that had bound them together. "W-We made it..."
01[03:23] <Vincent> Suddenly...it's very quiet around Becky and Miranda...they can't hear a thing...not the wind...not the screams of Canis...not even their breath....
01[03:23] <Vincent> Something walks brushes by Becky before she gets inside...
[03:24] <Miranda> "W-Why is it so quiet...?" It doesn't matter, they're almost "home"
06[03:24] * Becky shudders as she closes the door tight behind her and sinks to the floor, crying into her hands.
01[03:25] <Vincent> A loud bang can be heard against the door behind Becky...and a knock.
06[03:26] * Becky jumps and runs away from the door, screaming, covering her head. "Vincent! VINCENT!"
01[03:26] <Vincent> Becky crashes into Dr.Goldman.
01[03:27] <Vincent> "Ah, w-what is going on Miss Rebecca?" Goldman panics as Becky crashes into him.
[03:27] <Miranda> "A-Ah! Hello s-sir." she bows.
06[03:27] * Becky looks up, "D-Doctor...?" she stood and backed away, wiping away her tears, motioning Miranda to come close. "I-I...A-A big spider in the pantry fell in my hair." she shakily smiles
[03:28] <Kaitah> "I came from that direction, if you see it tell me."
06[03:28] * Kaitah leads Canis by the hand in the direction she remembers coming from
06[03:29] * Canis held Kaitah's hand for dear sanity and focused on the bobbing yellow in front of her, glancing around for light anywhere, buildings anywhere
01[03:30] <Vincent> "Ah, a spider? Terrible creatures!" Goldman responded with a shiver.
06[03:30] * Miranda hesitantly gets closer to Becky. "U-Uh yeah, I went to come see if she was OK."
06[03:30] * Kaitah finally makes it to the door
06[03:31] * Becky laughed shakily, "So, did Midori pass your little check-up?"
[03:31] <Kaitah> "If you need some time to recover, I suppose I can allow it, but one of the doors was jammed, and there was a very...  Suspicious odor coming from in there."
06[03:31] * Canis throws herself into the doorway, gasping for breath.
[03:31] <Kaitah> "I'll need someone with your strength to get it open."
01[03:31] <Vincent> "Ah yes, I fixed her right up! She's probably feeling better already." Goldman smiled to Becky with a semi proud look.
[03:32] <Canis> "Can you... close the door?"
06[03:32] * Becky nodded, breathing steadily. "I'm going to go check on her if you don't mind."
[03:32] <Kaitah> "Yes, of course."
06[03:32] * Kaitah she shuts the large doors, although grunting with effort the whole time
[03:33] <Miranda> "I think I'll stay here..." she waits for Becky to get out of what she think is earshot and asks the doctor "So, how did you end up here, if you don't mind me asking?"
01[03:33] <Vincent> "But of course, I've been down here for around an hour now so I'm sure she's rested up."
01[03:33] <Vincent> Goldman smiles at Becky and turns to Miranda.
01[03:34] <Vincent> "Ah, my car broke down earlier...I wandered around in the mist for a while before arriving here." He scratched his head.
[03:34] <Miranda> "Where were you going before it broke down?"
[03:34] <Kaitah> "I suppose I'll finish my meal."
06[03:34] * Becky arrives upstairs to the guest room, "Midori~ Nurse Becky's come to see youu."
06[03:34] * Canis hears the doors close and holds herself up with a wall, clinging to vague memories as a recovery. She can remember swinging her fists, and that's about it. It's enough to get her standing, though.
[03:34] <Canis> "Kaitah."
[03:35] <Kaitah> "Yes?"
06[03:35] * Canis steps over and throws her arms around the smaller girl
[03:36] <Canis> "Th-thank you. Thank you. I didn't protect you at all."
06[03:36] * Becky has trouble opening the door, "W-What...?" she spies blood on the floor, her eyes go wide. She shoves the door open, and hears a thud on the floor.
06[03:36] * Becky walks slowly to the body, kneeling beside it.
01[03:36] <Vincent> "Where was I going? Oh, I was going home." Goldman responded, "I was a bit stressed out with my job at the hospital and so I left early...though I got lost. I'm a bit ashamed." Goldman answers Miranda.
[03:36] <Canis> "I'm... I'm okay now. What was it you were concerned about?"
[03:37] <Miranda> "I understand. I'm not sure how I ended up here myself..."
[03:37] <Kaitah> "Stuck door.  Smelled like someone had been bleeding in there."
06[03:38] * Becky runs out of the room, covering her mouth and heads for the master's room- pounding on the door.
[03:38] <Canis> "Bleeding?" Canis's hackles raise. "Come on, then, let's go!"
01[03:39] <Vincent> "Ah, a real mystery huh Miss Miranda?" Goldman sighed.
06[03:39] * Kaitah leads the way, stopping short when she see's it already opened.
[03:39] <Kaitah> "Hmm.  I suppose I might not need your help here anymore."
06[03:39] * Vincent hears the knocking on the door, "Hmmm? Who is it?" he asks, putting away his book and papers to get up and answer.
[03:40] <Canis> "Some one already here? This was the smell of blood?"
06[03:40] * Kaitah walks inside the room and starts when she sees the body more clearly
06[03:40] * Becky falls into Vincent's arms, shaking all over- it was just too much. "T-That doctor...He's gone and killed Midori!"
06[03:41] * Kaitah one of her ears recedes into her skull and she slumps to the floor
[03:41] <Canis> "K-k-k-Kaitah!"
06[03:41] * Miranda finds it strange that Vincent seemed to suggest everyone who wandered here seemed to lose their memories, but the doctor seemed to remember his past just fine. She should probably ask the master about this and keep her eye on him..."Umm, I have to go now, you know, maid stuff."
[03:42] <Kaitah> "Wh-what the f-fuck is this?"
06[03:42] * Canis follows Kaitah into the room to look arou--arou... "...Oh god, Midori."
01[03:43] <Vincent> "Ah, very well Miss Miranda, I'll go back to the living room." he said.
06[03:43] * Miranda wanders off to find the master's room.
06[03:44] * Becky follows behind silently, the master was...So used to this.
01[03:44] <Vincent> "Rebecca? Midori? Dead!? Oh dear!" Vincent quickly puts his vest back on and steps out. "And you say the doctor did this? Did you catch him in the act?" Vincent's tone was more filled with interest then actual concern though it looked like he was trying.
06[03:46] * Becky paused, "W-Well, I...I left them alone together, the doctor expressed wanting to treat Midori's cough. I was giving Miranda a tour of the mansion, and heading back I bumped into him. When I headed up, Midori's...Throat was cut cleanly."
06[03:49] * Kaitah clutches her head in pain, as her two sides intermingle over what to do in the situation
01[03:50] <Vincent> "Oh my...not again..." Vincent sighed, again? was he refering to another maid dying this way...or? "Let's go investigate, please round up the other maids and Dr.Goldman."
06[03:51] * Canis 's eyes lose focus and she can't see anything but the girl slumped on the floor.
[03:51] <Canis> "G-gray. Gray. Gray. Hey, Gray. Hey! C'mon, Gray! You're feeling sick again? Fine, if I have to, I'll pick you up. Hah...G-grGray. I'll hold you up. Gray, Gray..."
06[03:51] * Becky bowed, "Yes, my lord." she sauntered to the guest room and grabbed Canis's shoulder. "Let's go."
06[03:51] * Kaitah one eye fills with tears and the other remains clear, darting about to try to figure out the scene
[03:51] <Becky> "You too, Kaitah."
[03:51] <Miranda> "M-Master! There you are." she says, running up to them. "Our guest is a bit...Odd. Didn't you say everyone who came here lost their memories?"
06[03:52] * Canis reaches out to Midori with one hand, brushes Becky's hand away with the other, and slams to the floor loudly.
06[03:52] * Kaitah makes a bizarre choking sound
[03:52] <Miranda> "O-Oh my! What happened?!
[03:52] <Becky> "The master has commanded that we all meet in the living room. Listen here, Gold killed Midori. Back me up on this. Now, let's go."
01[03:53] <Vincent> "Actually, I said all my maids that have arrived here lose their memories." Vincent corrected happily, not pointing out how easy it was to misunderstand that statement. "Whenever someone forgets...they usually sta---oh! Umm...please brace yourself...but Midori has been killed."
[03:53] <Miranda> "W-What?! By whom?"
06[03:54] * Kaitah alternates between shaking and standing perfectly still, curling the whip back and forth around her hand
01[03:54] <Vincent> "Becky suspects the doctor." Vincent answered, he walked over to the scene of the crime with Miranda. "I'd like to investigate first...I don't like leaving things to assumptions..."
[03:55] <Miranda> "He seems like a nice person though, he worked at a hospital and everything."
[03:56] <Miranda> "Why would a doctor kill people? It's their job to do the opposite."
01[03:57] <Vincent> "I honestly do not know Miranda. However, I won't deny that he was the last person seen with Midori...he's a suspect."
[03:59] <Kaitah> "I don't know about that doctor," Kaitah says, clutching her knees to her chest, "But I wouldn't put it past her either!"  She shouts while pointing at Rebecca.
06[04:01] * Becky backed up, "M-My, you're aggresive when you mean to be...Why would I kill one of my own darling flock?"
01[04:02] <Vincent> "Where is the doctor? Could someone go fetch him?" Vincent asks.
[04:03] <Miranda> "He said he went to the living room last time I talked to him, and that was only a few minutes ago..."
01[04:03] <Vincent> Goldman continues reading a book downstairs, unaware of the atmosphere brewing upstairs.
[04:03] <Kaitah> "People don't just keep sheep for wool..."
[04:05] <Becky> "L-Listen, just ask Miranda! I left Midori with the doctor and then went to give her a tour of the mansion...Unless one of you came in afterwards, it had to  have been the doctor! So where were you, huh?"
01[04:06] <Vincent> Vincent walked into the crime scene and looked at poor Midori...her eyes had opened again when the door had been forced, her closes them gently for her. "Better luck next time..."
06[04:06] * Canis pulls herself up off the floor into a slumping sitting position, and almost breaks again getting up in front of Midori. She turns away bitterly
[04:08] <Kaitah> "I...  Uh..."  She clutches her head and makes a pained expression.  "I can't remember anything before I went outside to get Canis...  Because...  The door was stuck?  It smelled funny in there and I couldn't open it..."
[04:08] <Canis> "I-I-I..." Canis tries to breathe deeply but only manages quick chokes. "I was looking for the others, for...for Midori or Kaitah since they didn't get dinner."
06[04:09] * Becky raises her eyebrow at Kaitah, "I opened it fine enough. It's just a door...So you went to check on Midori?"
06[04:10] * Canis tries to calm herself. "I...I found Kaitah in a room and sent her to, ah, to go eat. And... And I tried to... to go... outside."
06[04:10] * Canis shudders, curling in on herself yet again
01[04:10] <Vincent> Vincent walks back to the others. It looked at is everyone was at each others throats. "Ah, the flames of doubt."
[04:12] <Canis> "K-k-k-Kaitah saved me--f-from the mist, I mean. Yes, saved fr-fr-...got me inside, Kaitah got me inside. And b-... b-... brought me here and then she f-fell down."
[04:12] <Kaitah> ""I...  Don't know why I knew the door was stuck.  I just remember telling Canis about it, and when I finally got back with her it was already opened."
[04:12] <Canis> "A-a-a-...a...and..."
06[04:12] * Canis gulps down a sob
06[04:13] * Kaitah 's eyes start tearing up
01[04:14] <Vincent> "Now now girls...rather than asking the time and place, why not ask how the act was performed? Could two of you go in and investigate the body?"
[04:14] <Becky> "Hmph." she looked to Vincent, "Yes, my lord."
01[04:16] <Vincent> "Anyone else?"
01[04:19] <Vincent> "Kaitah, help Becky then since no one seems to be volunteering!"
01[04:19] <Vincent> "Miranda, go fetch the doctor." Vincent ordered.
06[04:19] * Becky finds a blood pressure gauge, "He just...Left this on her? That's kind of suspicious don't you think? The only reason she'd still have it on was if...Something happened DURING the examination!"
06[04:20] * Kaitah shuffles shakily into the room
[04:20] <Miranda> "W-What?! You want me, a defenseless girl, to go find a murder suspect, alone?!"
01[04:22] <Vincent> "Very well, I'll join you then Miranda." Vincent offered, walking alongside her.
[04:22] <Miranda> "Thankyou..." she says, walking next to him, still frightened.
01[04:23] <Vincent> "It is no problem at all Miranda!" Vincent boasts joyously, apparently it took a murder case for her to suddenly trust...the man she just met today...
[04:24] <Canis> "I-..."
[04:24] <Canis> "I'll l-look at her. Kaitah. M-move."
06[04:25] * Becky folded her arms, "An open and shut case I'd say, but the master will likely have some questions on that...Cut..."
06[04:25] * Canis shuffles up on the floor to bring her legs under her, and takes shaky steps forward, looking c-close in at Midori's body.
[04:29] <Kaitah> "I...  I don't think I can look at her like that any more."  She says, and moves over to huddle in the corner of the room.
06[04:29] * Canis easily sees that all the b-b-blood flowed from Gr-...from Midori's neck. That much is obvious, plain, s-simple. She looks closer at the wound, though, and ...a-and looks closely at the fatal wound to Midori's neck. It's shallow. At least, it looks like it. But that's because it's a very, /very/ thin cut.
01[04:29] <Vincent> "Miranda, has this shaken you up too much?" Vincent asked her.
[04:30] <Becky> "what do you make of it, Canis?"
06[04:30] * Canis doesn't think it's shallow at all, it's surprisingly deep, a-actually. But it's strait across in a tiny, thin, l-line.
06[04:31] * Canis t-turns slowly around towards the maid. "R-Red, it's thin. It's thin and deep and straight. Heh. Y-you'd almost think such a thin cut couldn't k-k...kill anyone...
06[04:31] * Canis looks like she's about to cry, or throw up. Or both.
[04:32] <Becky> "Then it cut something vital. A precision cut with a precision tool. With just these two pieces of evidence we can prove it, Canis...Be strong. If we find a tool like that on the doctor he's sunk. I have a plan...I'll distract him, and you search his things."
[04:32] <Miranda> "I must admit, I am a bit confused at all of this. I don't understand why I'm here, why the mist is out there or what we heard out there, or  why she's....dead. I don't want to suspect the poor doctor, he's had such a rough time a work, but everything seems to point to him.
[04:34] <Canis> "Y-yeah, I got it. I'm strong, r-right? I'm st-strong. I can even hold Midori up when she coughs. I can...probably do it now, too! Want to see, Red?"
01[04:34] <Vincent> "Ah, I understand your apprehension...you've asked me this question a lot of times before and yet my answer never quite satisfies you. All I can tell you is that I've lived here for as long as I can remember...and I've seen many maids ponder the question, so far only 2 have cracked the mystery and left..." Vincent sighed, reaching the living room. "Dr.Goldman? Could you please come with us?"
01[04:35] <Vincent> Goldman lifts his head up, "H-huh? Oh, y-yes." he lifts himself from his chair and goes of to join them.
06[04:35] * Becky sighed, looking at Canis. "I don't know if you can take solace in this or not but...Midori will come back." she nods. "Let's go."
[04:35] <Miranda> "W-What?! Really? They escaped?" she says, seeing Goldman and standing on the other side of Vincent, keeping him between the two.
[04:36] <Canis> "Y-yeah..."
06[04:36] * Canis struggles to her feet with her back to the body. Sh-she wants to look back but she's not sure she can get up one more time if she does.
[04:36] <Canis> "Yeah. Let's go, Red."
06[04:37] * Becky grabs Canis's hand, "It's Rebecca." she supported her on the way down to the living room
[04:38] <Kaitah> "Save some for me..."  A dispassionate voice calls from out of the bedroom
[04:38] <Canis> "Right. Rebecca. Rebecca. Kaitah, Rebecca, Miranda, Vincent, Canis, Goldman."
[04:39] <Becky> "Kaitah! Come on!" she called from the bottom of the stairs, continuing to the living room, looking at the doctor cooly.
01[04:40] <Vincent> "Ah, Rebecca. You've already come to a conclusion I presume?" Vincent seemed happy with her look, Goldman simply sat back down as it seemed they weren't going anywhere.
06[04:40] * Kaitah noiselessly moves down the stairs with a far away look and her whip in hand
06[04:41] * Canis stares soullessly at the doctor.
06[04:42] * Becky sits near the doctor calmly, "Yes, conclusion...I was wondering if I could interrupt our family meeting~ I had something to say to the doctor." she gives a quick look to Canis.
01[04:42] <Vincent> Dr. Goldman smiles, "Yes Miss Rebecca? What would you like to say?" he asked.
[04:43] <Becky> "It's a private affair~" she smiled, "I require a doctor's touch you see..."
01[04:44] <Vincent> "Ah, do you now? Please do tell! I'd be glad to help!" Goldman took out his bag of supplies.
06[04:45] * Becky eyed the bag of supplies carefully... "I-I'd rather not say it in front of the others, and I don't believe you'll need that bag, sir.."
[04:46] <Becky> "Won't you follow me into the study for a moment?"
06[04:46] * Canis walked towards the doctor with a blank look on her face.
06[04:46] * Becky looked at Canis, w-what was she doing!?
01[04:47] <Vincent> "Ah, very well my dear. No problem at all." he said, getting up and following Becky out.
06[04:47] * Becky escorted the doctor out quickly so he didn't see Canis. Closing the door to the study she sighed calmly, "Doctor..."
06[04:49] * Becky blushed lightly, trying to push the grim reality out of her mind to play the part necessary to distract the doctor
06[04:49] * Canis blinked, watching the doctor leave with becky and hearing the closing door
01[04:49] <Vincent> "Yes my dear?" Goldman asked, "What seems to be the problem?"
[04:50] <Miranda> "What is she thinking, going off alone with a suspected murderer?!"
06[04:50] * Becky held her face in her hands swivelling about, "I...I do believe I'm pregnant with the master's child you see~ and there's no way to procure something like a pregnancy test way out her. I haven't shown any of the bigger signs yet, but I wanted to be sure before I told Vincent! Can you help doctor?"
06[04:51] * Canis grabbed the bag with little thought to it and began rifling through it.
01[04:51] <Vincent> Vincent shrugged, "Becky seems to know what she's doing, hopefully she won't regret it again."

[04:51] <Miranda> "Again..." why was he talking like that? Like it's something routine to him
01[04:52] <Vincent> "Ah, why yes I can miss Becky...if you'll just let me fetch my stethoscope..." Dr Goldman started walking back towards the living room.
[04:53] <Becky> Damn! "J-Just a moment!" she cried out.
01[04:53] <Vincent> Canis spots multiple medical equipment, regular things that you'd expect from his bag...a scalpel catches her eye but there are also other sharp medical equipment that doesn't seem all that out of place...all the tools are clean.
06[04:54] * Canis picks up the bag and walks towards Vincent.
01[04:54] <Vincent> Goldman stops, "Yes Miss Rebecca? You don't look as if you're even past the third month so I can just put my ear to your stomach you know?" he chuckled.
06[04:55] * Vincent looks over to Canis, "Yes? Is there something in there?"
06[04:55] * Becky wrung her hands, "R-Right...But...I was wondering...What I should do if Vincent thinks having a child in the house would be...A burden."
[04:56] <Canis> "Master Leblanc. There's a bunch of sharp things and thin sharp things. Do you want to look?"
01[04:57] <Vincent> "Ah, a difficult question indeed." Goldman turned back to her, "A lot of couples question this between each other, you'll need to discuss with Vincent about it really. If he does find it a burden however, I can assure you things will get more difficult than they do easy...don't give up hope however." Goldman smiles, counseling Becky.
[04:59] <Becky> "I-I see..I do hope he accepts it...B-But who will deliver the baby when the time comes?" she hoped the others had come to a conclusion...Or would soon.
06[04:59] * Vincent peers into the bag, "Well yes, there are a lot of sharp things inside, however he is a doctor after all, that's not all that unusual for him to have I suppose." Vincent didn't seem all that impressed...what were they missing?
[05:01] <Kaitah> "Everyone else has an allibi though... D-do you mean to say that there could be someone else in the mansion who could have done this?"
[05:02] <Canis> "Master Leblanc. Is there something else that could make a thin sharp cut in the house?"
01[05:02] <Vincent> "Hmmm...I believe I saw some medical books in the living room, I could circle the passes of relevence for you and then you'll be able to ask Vincent to take care of it if worse comes to worse...otherwise I'd recommend calling the hospital." Goldman said.
[05:05] <Miranda> "But why would he just up and kill some one? I mean, there must be a reason..."
[05:05] <Becky> "What a relief..." Becky sighed, "Would you have any way for us to contact you? I suspect the master will want to tie the knot if all goes well~ we don't have much family between us...So we'd likely invite all our old guests!"
01[05:05] <Vincent> "Hmm...you are right that there are only two people with the knowledge to cut like that. That I know of currently anyways." Vincent grabbed his chin.
[05:06] <Canis> "Master Leblanc. Is Rebecca also able to?"
01[05:07] <Vincent> "Ah, contact me? Sure." Goldman pulled out a business card from his pocket. "Feel free to call, I'd love to return after you've been so hospitable."
01[05:07] <Vincent> "Well no..." Vincent looked over to Kaitah, "However I have seen someone here perform a cut like that..." Vincent mumbled.
06[05:08] * Becky comes closer to take the card, observing it carefully! "And it's been a delight having you sir~"
[05:09] <Miranda> "He did mention he came here before his car broke down...Can't we search his car for anything incriminating?"
[05:10] <Becky> "St-Florence..Ahh, that's not far from here...Could I call the hospital and ask for you?"
01[05:12] <Vincent> "Ah...I'm afraid not. I was let go recently." the doctor admitted.
[05:13] <Becky> "What a shame...Why's that, doctor?"
01[05:14] <Vincent> "The cellphone number is still good though." Goldman stated, "Stressful situations, apparently they thought I was overworked."
[05:14] <Becky> "Poor thing...I trust you to examine me though! Come, let's go get that stethascope, hmm?"
01[05:15] <Vincent> "Yes, let us." Goldman smiled walking back into the living room.
06[05:16] * Becky shut the door to the study behind her, they had effectively cornered the doctor now
[05:18] <Becky> "Master, the investigation is closed." Becky smiled.
01[05:20] <Vincent> "Oh is it now?" Vincent wondered.
[05:21] <Miranda> "Really? So he really did do it?..."

01[05:25] <Vincent> "Oh, Dr.Goldman you are a suspect in the murder of Miss Midori." Vincent told the doctor who simply looked perplexed. "Killed Midori? Oh, well I did heal her yes." Dr.Goldman responded.
06[05:26] * Becky tightened her fists, "You right horrible bastard..."
06[05:26] * Canis blinked, for what seemed like the first time in half an hour.
[05:26] <Miranda> "See? He healed her! Some one else must've killed her!"
[05:27] <Canis> "H-heal. Did you...How did you heal Midori, doctor?"
01[05:27] <Vincent> "I freed her from her suffering." Goldman replied with a soft smile.
[05:27] <Kaitah> "Who?  Everyone else has an allibi that checks out!"
06[05:27] * Miranda 's heart sinks. "W-What?!"
[05:27] <Canis> "S-s-ssfffr"
06[05:28] * Becky glared at the doctor's head, "Why did we have to bother proving it! This man's a raving loon!"
06[05:28] * Canis could only gurgle a hiss.
[05:29] <Canis> "S-u-...suffering?"
[05:29] <Canis> "G-g-GRAY'S suffering?"
[05:29] <Becky> "Master...What shall we do with him?"
01[05:29] <Vincent> "It would seem you girls failed with this one..." Vincent sighed, taking the centerstage again.
[05:30] <Canis> "Y-y...Gray... You say you 'healed' her? Healed WHAT?"
[05:30] <Becky> "Hardly!"
01[05:31] <Vincent> "Rebecca...please shut up." Vincent grinned to her, a dark grin that suddenly made Becky think of the mist for an instant...
06[05:31] * Becky folded her arms and stayed quiet...
01[05:32] <Vincent> "You see girls...Dr.Goldman here...is worse off than even you are...people who arrive here with their memories...they aren't quite all there. I would even go as far as to say that they are JUST memories..."

06[05:33] * Canis shuddered in place, still near Vincent, caught between bewilderment, fear, sorrow, and some anger, too. It shook her body but couldn't really reach her exhausted, dull state of mind
01[05:34] <Vincent> Goldman seemed off in his own world, thinking about poor Midori...he stared at Miranda...who reminded him of another girl he had to 'heal'....
[05:34] <Canis> "H-healed...G-Gray's...suffer..." Canis couldn't process the thoughts entirely. It didn't make sense to her at all.
06[05:35] * Miranda shivers as he stares, trying to avoid her eyes.
[05:35] <Kaitah> "And for that we should just let him get away with this?!"
01[05:36] <Vincent> "Indeed, memories. This mansion, is meant to save these 'ghosts' as I like to call them..." he paused when Kaitah spoke, "Ah...save...or punish. It would seem you girls failed to save this one...perhaps Miranda might have been able to do it..." Vincent notices that the Dr. seemed interested in her. "So I suppose all that's left...is to punish him."
[05:36] <Becky> "Fine by me. I don't intend to save him after what he did..."
[05:37] <Miranda> "Me? What do you mean?"
[05:38] <Miranda> "I just want to go home..."
01[05:39] <Vincent> "Perhaps you held the key to getting along with the good doctor here...if you possess the ability, why not use it to help others?" Vincent then grinned again, "Or perhaps, use that power to further torment the ghosts before they dissapear...I must admit that there have been all kinds of maids who have tried all sorts of possibilities..."
[05:39] <Canis> "M-m-m-m-m..." she stuttered, hardly able to think of anything except blood and mists and metal glints and creaking metal an- "M-m-Mismaster Leblanc."
01[05:39] <Vincent> "Yes Canis?"
[05:40] <Miranda> "As good as his intentions were, he's still a murderer. What do we do now?"
06[05:40] * Canis tried to look up at the man, but only managed to do so with a gaze that looked right past him.

[05:42] <Kaitah> "Is t-t-there really any difference between punishment and salv-v-ation?"
01[05:42] <Vincent> Goldman seems unable to respond anymore now that everyone has discovered his past...was this the destiny of the ghosts that arrived here? Were they just awaiting punishment?
06[05:42] * Becky stared down Miranda, "Give up those things already! I've told you!"
06[05:43] * Vincent shrugs at Canis, "I do not know, all manner of things could be hidden in the mist...it's up to you girls to find out." he simply responded, unable to give her a straight answer.
01[05:44] <Vincent> "Please carry out his punishment right now."
01[05:45] <Vincent> Dr.Goldman simply smiled, looking at Miranda. "Valerie..." he mumbled to himself.

[05:50] <Canis> "Goldman?" Canis asked, turning back to the wall behind the large doctor.
01[05:50] <Vincent> "Kaitah, Miranda, Canis...do what must be done. Kill that ghost." Vincent told them.
[05:51] <Miranda> "I can't just k-kill some one!"
01[05:51] <Vincent> Goldman did not respond to Canis' call.

01[05:51] <Vincent> "Ah Miranda, always the same with you. Please do realize that soon enough, you will find yourself forced to kill..."
01[05:52] <Vincent> "And you will do it, not willingly at first but you will to survive."
[05:52] <Canis> "G-Goldman?" It can't be told if she was asking the others to confirm the name to the person or asking the person himself.
06[05:53] * Becky stood firmly, putting her left index finger to her temple and channeling psychic power
06[05:53] * Canis gulped down a sob as she stared at the man.
[05:53] <Becky> "Die."
01[05:54] <Vincent> "Valerie..." Goldman mumbles once more, staring at Miranda. He looked...sad.
06[05:54] * Canis stepped towards the man--lurched might be more accurate.
[05:54] <Kaitah> "Yes sir..."  She picks up the whip and swings it at Goldman's neck
[05:55] <Canis> "Rebecca. Wait..."
[05:56] <Becky> A blue flash leapt across Becky's eyes, "I've waited long enough." she willed the doctor's neck to snap, like bending a spoon.
06[05:57] * Canis pushed herself over to Rebecca and tried to shake her out of her focus, but she couldn't manage it
06[05:59] * Miranda tries to avoid looking at him, but can't help but feel a bit bad for him. He just thought he was doing the right thing.
01[06:02] <Vincent> Goldman's neck snaps, he gurgles for a moment before falling to the ground, limp dead from a single blow. His final thoughts off to the girl he felt he needed to 'save' from her suffering...he felt no remorse for having healed her...his only regret, that she had to die for her pain to be alieviated.
06[06:04] * Becky took her hand from her temple, looking taxed. "Bastard..."
06[06:04] * Canis pushed herself off Rebecca's shoulders, wobbling a moment before stumbling over to the dead doctor.
06[06:05] * Vincent seemed unimpressed, "Well well, looks like another bites the dust. Shame, Becky please take care of his body. We should have another visitor soon..." Vincent mumbled impatiently, "You know where the furnace is, please just burn it there." he motionned towards the basement.
06[06:05] * Canis fell to her knees and threw herself over the body.
[06:06] <Becky> "Should I take Midori there too?" she asked, "You all seem to have forgotten."
[06:06] <Canis> "SUFFERING?"
06[06:06] * Becky hauled the doctor's corpse over her shoulder.
[06:07] <Canis> "Red, no...!"
06[06:07] * Becky stared down Canis. "He's dead! He's trash that needs to be thrown out."
[06:08] <Canis> "No, he's...! I need to tell him! I need..."
[06:09] <Kaitah> "You wish to die as well, perhaps?"
06[06:09] * Becky walked off with the doctor's body slung over her shoulder. "I'd just come back."
06[06:09] * Canis jumped at the words. "I... I..."
06[06:10] * Becky continued on, heading to the furnace
06[06:11] * Canis watched Red's exit with shattered golden eyes
06[06:11] * Becky hucks the corpse into the furnace and heads for the guest room to grab Midori next.
06[06:12] * Canis staggered once again.
01[06:12] <Vincent> Midori's body was missing...
06[06:12] * Becky blinked, seeing only bloodstains.
01[06:12] <Vincent> A blood trail can be seen leaving the room...and out the window...?
06[06:12] * Becky walked to the window, what would she see?
06[06:12] * Canis shambled to the stairs and shouldered past Kaitah to the room herself
01[06:12] <Vincent> There is nothing but mist for Becky to see...
[06:12] <Canis> "G-g-Gray? Where'd Gray go."
01[06:13] <Vincent> "Ladies, please come here. There's another visitor coming."
01[06:13] <Vincent> "Well, a new arrival anyways." Vincent calls out.
06[06:13] * Becky stayed silent, a hand on the window...She retreated back down, hearing the master
06[06:13] * Canis watched Red at the windowsill for a moment before slamming the door and running down the steps, tripping over them and falling down the bottom ones
06[06:13] * Becky wondered, was it...?
06[06:14] * Midori stands on the front porch... how'd she get here? What's she doing here? And why is the only thing she can remember a flash of pain across her throat, and a man's smiling face as he cuts her open? ... she puts it out of her head, and looks at the door she's in front of. With a shrug, she steps forward... and knocks.
06[06:14] * Becky opened the door, not too surprised.
06[06:14] * Canis shouldered past the others and ran roughly to the door, jerking it open and running outside, to run around in the mists
06[06:15] * Canis slams full force into a body instead
06[06:15] * Canis blinks, stunned. Midori's body is right under here. How did it get there?
[06:16] <Canis> [her*]
06[06:16] * Midori UWAAAGHS as she's bowled over, winding up with Canis right atop her. She looks mildly annoyed... and is more or less identical to the way she was before! Well, she has her hair pulled into a ponytail, but other than that...
06[06:16] * Canis shuddered, and threw her head over her shoulder, back at the door. "Step back, Red! No!"
[06:16] <Midori> "... Get off."
[06:17] <Becky> "Fine." she retreated back by the master's side
06[06:17] * Becky leaned over the master, "Do forgive me for getting over-excited today my lord. It's been awhile since we've had visitors."
[06:17] <Canis> "You're not inciner--" Canis halted, whether it was hearing a living sound or Red's retreat, she's not sure.
[06:18] <Canis> "G-r-g... Gray? Gray? Gray??"
01[06:18] <Vincent> A voice speaks out to Midori in her mind..."To move forward is to walk deeper into the abyss, once you cross a certain threshold...there will be no return...or desire for it to change..."
06[06:19] * Canis head swims, even after all of Tophat's words, e-even that, she doesn't realize Midori could be alive. That's just impossible. She had been that close to her b-b-body...blood...
06[06:20] * Becky leaned her head on the master's shoulder, not really expecting a response anyway...
[06:20] <Midori> "...." She pokes the girl atop her. "Off."
06[06:20] * Vincent simples walks forward, "Ah, Midori. Welcome back." he nodded, "Please come in, I shall explain everything to you. Ladies, please let her go and bring her to the living room." Vincent told them, walking off back to the living room, like when this day began....
06[06:20] * Canis doesn't get off. She just buries her face in the other girl's chest, even if she was taller. She doesn't have anymore tears to cry at this point.
06[06:20] * Kaitah stares at Midori, wide eyed
06[06:21] * Becky sighed and followed behind Vincent.
[06:21] <Kaitah> "She doesn't even sound like the same person anymore..."
[06:21] <Canis> "Gray, Gray, Gray, is it really you?"
01[06:21] <Vincent> "Also, you're forgiven Becky, please do try to stay calm. I wouldn't want the same thing to happen to you as last time." He sighed.
[06:22] <Midori> "If I say yes will you let me up...?" She sighs...
[06:22] <Canis> "No."
[06:22] <Becky> "How cruel, master...You know I get curious when you bring it up like that."
01[06:24] <Vincent> "Yes yes, I've heard it all before. Please do try to watch your curiosity and desire to prove your theories on the mist this time, I promise you it won't end well." Vincent clarified, he yelled back to the other girls, "Girls! Now! Living room! I don't have all day---well, I do. However what fun is that?" he laughed.
06[06:25] * Midori sighs... then she grabs the other girl by the shoulders. A flick of the wrist, a twist of her hips, and a brief moment of PANTY SHOT as her skirt settles back down from the amazing flippy maneuver she does, and she's standing next to Canis, who is still laying on the floor. SHe was careful not to hurt her, at least...
06[06:25] * Becky shuddered, hanging over the master for comfort. "Yes, yes...I've learned my lesson master."
[06:25] <Midori> "... Ahem. Here." She holds her hand out, offering to help Canis up
06[06:26] * Canis 's world spins yet again.
06[06:26] * Canis takes the hand again, and tries to lift herself up, managing to.
06[06:28] * Kaitah slumps to the floor yet again, terrified at the thought of losing everything that makes her her, or being left remembering everyone as someone who they no longer are
06[06:28] * Midori helps pull Canis to her feet. "You alright?"
06[06:28] * Canis sniffles through unwillingly-dry eyes and nods.
01[06:29] <Vincent> "Today?" Vincent yells from the living room.
[06:29] <Canis> "Yeah. Yeah. Gray."
[06:29] <Midori> "... You sure?" Leaning in a little, eyeing Canis' expression... the girl says she's fine, but she looks ready to cry.
[06:30] <Midori> "... guy sounds grouchy. Lets go." She heads for the living room, where the voice is coming from
06[06:30] * Miranda walks back into the room after splashing some water on her face. "So what are we going to do about the-HOLY CRAP!"
[06:30] <Canis> "No," she answers honestly. "But I'll be fine. Suffering...suff..." She breaks off and follows Midori.
06[06:31] * Kaitah stumbles into the living room and sinks into a chair with a far off look in her eyes
[06:31] <Midori> "Well... lemme know if I can help."
[06:31] <Canis> "Gray."
06[06:31] * Becky kneads the master's shoulders, "They'll learn in time, my lord.."
[06:32] <Midori> "... why do you keep calling me that? Name's Midori."
[06:32] <Miranda> "A GHOST!" she runs off.
06[06:32] * Canis turned to where Becky had gone with the body.
[06:32] <Kaitah> "It's like Buddhism gone horribly wrong here..."
[06:33] <Canis> "Suffering. Death ends suffering, y'know?"
06[06:33] * Becky slinks off with a growl, stomping her heel. "GET INTO THE LIVING ROOM. NOW."
06[06:33] * Midori smiles. "Merely the suffering of the body. The soul can suffer on."
06[06:33] * Midori steps into the living room, arriving
01[06:34] <Vincent> "Now now Rebecca dear. You'll grow old in no time if you act like that." Vincent grins again, nodding at Midori as she steps in.
[06:34] <Canis> "It's just that...Suffering isn't all there is to a life, Goldman. There's suffering and there's happiness, Goldman. And you can't have any more suffering or happiness when you're dead. It's balanced."
06[06:34] * Miranda jumps while running at the sound of Becky's yelling and tiptoes back, too afraid to look in. "Y-Yes?"
[06:34] <Canis> "It's balanced, Goldman, it's balanced..."
06[06:35] * Canis chokes again, and follows Midori into the room.
06[06:35] * Becky returns to the master's side, "How cruel my lord, I'd kill myself if you no longer found me attractive."
[06:35] <Kaitah> "I want to go away..."
01[06:37] <Vincent> "Ahem, Miss Midori?" Vincent called to her.
06[06:38] * Midori looks to Vincent... does he seem familiar? Nah. She's never seen him before. "How... do you know my name?"
01[06:39] <Vincent> "Ah ha ha, it seems as if you've forgotten again...it's only natural I suppose, since it's happened the last time you came...and then time before that...and the time before that..." he smiled to her with his impossible smile.
[06:40] <Midori> "Forgotten... again? What are you talking about?"
01[06:42] <Vincent> "Hahaha Midori, don't worry about it too much." Vincent laughed, "The others will be glad to explain their experience later...for now. My name is Vincent Albert Leblanc. Welcome to my mansion!" he grinned once more to Midori...and thus this chapter came to an end.
