In the beginning all were a part of the Darkness. Then there appeared the Light which banished the Darkness from existence and spawned forth the Primordials who formed the various planes of existence and the mortal world.

It was from the actions of the Primordials that the Civilized Races came to be and under the authority of the Light and Primordials they formed the Great Cities who colonized the planet, protected the land, made war and diplomacy, and spawned forth the history of the ages.

In the 714th Year of the Imperial Calendar: The Darkness which had once been banished by the Light returned and upon the mortal world it spewed forth devouring the land and malforming the beings of the planet to birth its own kin known as the 'Unholy'.

The lands which fell to the Darkness and its legions became known as the 'Unholy Territories' and the lands which remained under the control of the Light and Civilized Races became known as the 'Holy Territories'.

In the 725th Year of the Imperial Calendar in order to fight against the Darkness the Great Cities formed the Grand Coalition alongside the Paladin Organization who would hunt the Darkness and exterminate all those who had become 'Unholy'.

The Paladin Organization which leads the front of the fight against the 'Unholy 'and Darkness in the 727th Year of the Imperial Calendar have established their headquarters in the Holy City of Iscala a place borders the frontier of the Unholy Territories...
