{ PERSONALITY }

personality : (feel free to ignore everything after the colon lmao)

  - competitive & stubborn: if she's not the best, chaeyeon is easily fired up. she has no idea where it came from (perhaps her father's side), but it's always been there. no matter what it is, be it singing or baking or even getting sticky notes off her face, chaeyeon will try her hardest to be the best. if she isn't the best at it, then she won't settle for just that. it makes her quite a sore loser, as well.

  - perservering and self-aware: because of her competitiveness, chaeyeon tends to try and try over and over again, always trying to perfect whatever it was she needed to. she's very aware that she's not perfect (maybe more than she should be) and always tries to better herself.

  - blunt & straightforward: most of the time, chaeyeon is very straightforward with her opinions and the way she feels about people. why bother with lying? because the wall on her inner thoughts that blocks anybody from them, chaeyeon doesn't see why she has to hide her opinions. despite this trait causing some very awkward situations, chaeyeon finds that being upfront about her opinions when asked causes the less amount of problems.

  - secretive and paranoid: it's the reason as to why she has the block in the first. chaeyeon won't share any opinion unless asked, and won't ever tell anybody about her family and/or background. she's considered an enigma because of it. really, it's all because she's unsure whether or not people would genuinely like her and be her friend if they found out the truth of who her family is (and, well, there are those out for her head). the only people that she really trusts with her true emotions and history are her close friends.

  - intimidating yet alluring, quiet: with a single look and a raise of her brow, chaeyeon could have most of the student body on their knees cowering. perhaps it's the whole vampire thing, but there's something about her presence that catches your attention. though she's not mean, no, chaeyeon is brushed off as cold due to the fact that she stays quiet.
