But seeing as I'm only lvl 11, I only have 11 points to spare. Should I just go down offensive first, or ..?
Plib (2:10): Yah, get the 9 point mastery and the grab whatever you want.
2 points in hardiness in defensive would probably be strongest.

Any tip on which spells to use?
Plib (2:16): Currently ignite plus (ghost/heal/exhaust). At level 12 you get flash and pretty much EVERY champion takes flash.
What the second spell you take is depends on what you're doing.
Sosjojuror (2:17): Ah
Plib (2:18): Okay, so it's unimportant to you right now but yu'll start to see it in 10 levels or so. Do you know about the Metagame at all?
Sosjojuror (2:19): No, not really
Haven't played since the Spring of 11 or something.
Plib (2:19): Okay, so the meta is pretty much "this is te best way of doing things" not always true but generally the easiest and most reliable way to do business.
Only really kicks in at 30 and often even then not in blind pick.
You have 5 roles, AD Carry and Support bot lane, AP Carry mid, Bruiser Top and Jungler.
Sosjojuror (2:21): That I mostly now.
Plib (2:21): Ashe, Tristana and Miss Fortune are AD Carries so you seem to have a preference there. Panth and olaf are tops (Olaf can also jungler decently)
The meta might change up a little soon because Season 2 just ended and there are changes coming in for Season 3.
Sosjojuror (2:23): Ah ... By the way, where do I get runes? I've more or less forgotten
Plib (2:23): Bot lane works as a duo lane because AD carries scale on items more importantly than levels (XP being reduced because of the duo lane)
In the store.
Sosjojuror (2:24): Makes sense
Plib (2:24): Support doesn't take CS (Creep score, killing minions for gold)
He gains gold on kills and assists and generally builds gold per 10 seconds items (gp10). So ideally the carry kills all (if he's on the all) the minions and gets any kills in the lane and can build
 (2:26): his damage items and carry the game.
Mid is AP (scaling off ability damage and thus more from levels, thus needed the solo lane)
Top is tanky and generally is often left to it's own devices.
Jungler kills jungle creeps and ganks the lanes.
 (2:29): I have done them all at one stage or another, still a terrible AD carry though. Generally play support cause it's needed of me, though I jungle and top too. Haven't played mid in a while and gotten
kinda shit.

Plib (2:32): Darius is quite fun for that. His ultimate ability does a ton of damage and resets cooldown if it kills. :P
