  1. Steve Dayton says, "And then we can rebuild the earth on the corpses of the gods of the tyrant thrones of Olympius and Asgard, and we mortals shall finally triumph over the prideful and tyrannical gods that think they are so much better than us. At least, the Hellenic ones always seemed to think they were so much better than us. Poor prometheus."
  2. Juggernaut whispers, "Psst. Wonder Woman would wreck Thor's Day."
  3. Juggernaut says, "But, I'll be rootin' for ya Thor."
  4. Thor odin forces upside everyone's head!
  5. Dru-Zod has left.
  6. Diana Prince ice cream cone.
  7. Juggernaut dusts himself off.
  8. Power Girl says, "Doyana"
  9. Harry Dresden holds his right hand out projecting a shield to diflect the odin force..
  10. Dracula says, "I wouldn't even try to say who would win.. too many variables truth be told. Yes Diana is a demi-goddess but that really doesn't diminish her potential. I think that Earth would be destroyed before a winner was even close to being announced.. rofl.."
  11. Steve Dayton says, "Prometheus did nothing wrong."
  12. Diana Prince says, "Poiwah Grill!"
  13. Monet says, "Don't be gauche, Thor."
  14. Superboy has disconnected.
  15. Harry Dresden says, "Prometheus created the 7 keys.. he betrayed all the gods!"
  16. Thor falls over for a bit, back later!
  17. Thor has disconnected.
  18. Juggernaut says, "Aw, I dunno about all -that- Drac but yeah I'd give them a chance to stalemate, sure."
  19. Dracula says, "Yeah you know what I mean Juggernaut.. lol"
  20. Dracula says, "I think it would end in some kind of stalemate"
  21. Steve Dayton says, "As I recall, Prometheus was the one who alledgedly created mankind, and then was generous enough to liberate fire from the gods and take it to mankind. And then he got his liver perpetually pecked out by eagles because the gods were evil and didn't want mortals to ever have nice things."
  22. Steve Dayton says, "Prometheus did nothing wrong."
  23. Harry Dresden says, "he did nothing wrong if you believe that he didn't steal from Apollo.."
  24. <Public> Shadowlite says, "With their stance against time travel, I'm not expecting any speed force users for a while."
  25. Harry Dresden says, "liberation of a possession without the owners permission is theft.."
  26. <Public> Dracula reiterates: If you happen to see Hotel Transylvania 3.. note that you will never see me so carefree here. That is the only place where I am so serene.
  27. Steve Dayton says, "Even if he stole from Apollo, he still did nothing wrong."
  28. Spawn says, "Prometheus and Loki suffer very similar fates."
  29. Juggernaut says, "I don't think he created humans"
  30. Juggernaut says, "Pandora was created by two other gods"
  31. Juggernaut says, "Prometheus was one of the titans"
  32. Juggernaut says, "You know I think i'm wrong. He is creditted with the creation of humans"
  33. Dracula would wonder if Loki and Prometheus were "created" or "destined" by the same force.
  34. Harry Dresden tilts his head at Steve.. "Explain to me how theft is not a wrong action. When is theft of another's property a 'good' thing..
  35. Juggernaut says, "Loki crimes are abit different"
  36. Steve Dayton says, "Poor Pandora was a victim in all of this, too. The gods set her and humanity up and then had the gall to blame Us."
  37. Spawn says, "Prometheus was punished by his government for creating wikileaks."
  38. Harry Dresden says, "Prometheus /was/ the gubbment.."
  39. Power Girl takes a Mustard bean from the Bean Jar and pushes it at Diana Prince.
  40. Dracula says, "They have their differences but they both function as tricksters, challenging the status quo. Sure Loki does so in.. very oppressive ways but.."
  41. Spawn says, "No he was the old administration, before Zeus and his team moved in."
  42. Juggernaut says, "Yeah very true"
  43. Steve Dayton says, "Now, in contrast to Prometheus, who did nothing morally or ethically wrong, "The Modern Prometheus" did almost everything wrong."
  44. X-23 says, "Stealing would, in fact, be both morally and ethically wrong."
  45. Steve Dayton says, "Victor Frankenstein was a irresponsible parent."
  46. <Public> Mason notes to get Dracula lots of free tickets for cruise ships to keep him serene.
  47. Spawn says, "I stole a suit and some powers from Hell."
  48. Harry Dresden says, "at this point X-23.. I'm starting to think Steve is just taking his stance to incite friction VS actually beliving what he's saying and being capable of backing it up.. I've asked him multiple times to explain how promethius stealing was not a wrong thing.. he's not answered.."
  49. Monet has left.
  50. Harry Dresden builds a bridge above Steve Dayton.. "There, a nice home my trollish friend"
  51. Steve Dayton says, "He was justified in his theft because the gods refused to help humanity."
  52. Juggernaut says, "Why does that justify it?"
  53. Harry Dresden says, "he shouldn't have created something he couldn't support.."
  54. Steve Dayton says, "Prometheus took things into his own hands and helped the powerless."
  55. X-23 says, "They were under no obligation to."
  56. Harry Dresden says, "I buy a car that I can't afford to make the payments on.. you refuse to give me money to help me make the payments.. I am morally justified to steal your wallet?"
  57. Spawn says, "The theft was justified because humans are more important than gods. Because we exist and they don't."
  58. Steve Dayton says, "I just like to root for mortal against the divine, okay?"
  59. Harry Dresden says, "so it goes back to you taking the stance to incite things"
  60. X-23 says, "Which is fine, and that's a preference. But don't try to justify it by saying it was morally or ethically right when it was neither."
  61. Juggernaut says, "You're examining what he did from the context of modern day western thinking and culture. Those stories weren't told for that purpose. What he did wasn't written as an act of right or wrong but as something that defied the established order of things because he was a trickster god who had both good and evil in him - as did humans - and there were consequences for that. The theft and gift of 'divine fire' appears in a lot of ancient stories and isn't usually framed in the light of 'This is a good thing'."
