Chapter 1 - Prayer
Hello there, as I'm writing this I have drowned myself in an endless shelf of pills. What I will be telling you people about today has scarred me for the rest of my life. So let's start off from the beginning, at this point in time I was 15 years old and there was a rumor going around in school that there was an abandoned amusement park not too far from where I lived, roughly one and a half-hour away with buss. When I came home from school I asked my parents about this so-called "Land Of Dreams" as the words came out of my mouth my parents looked mortified. I a curious 15-year-old wanted to know so much more and the more questions I asked my parent's eyes filled with even more horror. My mom said in a shaking voice "Son, never speak of that god damned place again. Forget it!". I looked over at my mom who was holding the cross around her neck and I heard her whisper a prayer "Dear God, Forgive me for my son's sins. God I know it's too late but please don't show him that horrid place, Show him the light in the dark". In my ears that was all so strange, I didn't know my mom had faith in God. I felt a strange feeling like someone was staring at me for afar.
