But just then his sensors picked up a signal. It was far away, but it was very strong. It would take most of his remaining energy reserves to get there, but it was his last chance for a way out. He transformed, and set out into space.

On the other side, rolling around loosely in the case, was a glowing, murmuring orb, the source of the signal. A scan revealed its true purpose with such clarity that Soundwave guessed it must have wanted to be scanned. It spoke of another world, where, after a gladiatorial tournament, an immensely powerful being would grant a wish.
