The party delved deeper into the tunnels, and found some intact stonework. The area there had been obviously touched by the Far Realm.

Taking a right, they found a stagnant pool of the curse jelly, which Cassius purified and Omen explored. The jelly appeared to have been sitting there for quite some time.

Exploring onwards, they find decrepit and partially destroyed dwarven architecture. Upon reaching the tunnel, they hear several Uuvudaums and engage with them. During the fight, a creature from the Far Realms, known as a Kaorti attempted to ambush them.

The party emerged victorious. Reading the Kaorti's mind, despite how utterly alien it was, Ivy uncovered a few notable facts.

It appears to ambulate in a similar fashion as the Uvuudaum.
The flesh of the Kaorti appears to oddly not be too dissimilar to the cursed growth Ragnorra's illness causes.
This creature was an important warrior among its own kind, and was controlled by an outside force.
This creature cannot cast spells.
This implies the possessor can cast spells, as a wizard, and can cast them through their victims.
This possession appears to confer a +30 insight bonus to saves.
