Fated Threesome (RP Vanilla, Kazmina & Hinawa)

just coming back up from a rather exhausting talk, the mouse just kicks open the door!.... That she kinda didn't lock when she left anyways, showing off the by now already quite a while unarmored mouse just in her normal vest, with some shot glasses in one hand and a big bottle of Mina's old favourite whisky in the other hand, looking into the room to look at the little gremlin! There she stood at the table, staring down at the majority of her belongings that she had neatly strewn out. What did not fit on the table, lay on the floor just as organized. At this point Hinawa barging in with her raucous fashion had no bother to her anymore, as she had grown accustomed to it over the weeks. She would not bat an eye, but gave a small wave instead. "Aye...?  What is it, Hinawa?"

she just kicks the door close behind her with her foot and slowly moves up towards the table that they usually drank on, putting said items down, trying to see if Mina is looking towards her

A few gaps on the table would leave some room for the glass and bottle to be placed, as most of the larger items were placed on the floor. Kazmina did not seem too thrilled about a drink for once. Just... Exhausted.  "Thanks..." she mumbled out, still refusing to look away from the table itself. "You can go to bed if you need."

It wasn't long before a knocking was heard on the door and it slowly opened up with the beaten kobold on the other side. She looked around at the room and seeing the two of them and raised an eyebrow. "So you've found a mate in the 7 years?" The kobold says surprised by this as she thought it true.

"You end up hauling a dragon into this backwater town first, then you come here and immediately start this entire speech about my fucking life - more than I've been able to figure out from nearly a decade alone, mind you. And you've the audacity to ask if I'm calm? Why shouldn't I shoot a bolt into you where you stand?"

Which was not likely, since she would have to reach across the table for the bolts and then jump off the chair for the crossbow itself.

The kobold head pulls back some and her hand kinda lowers as she was reaching for Kazmina. She took a deep breath and rubbed the back of her head. "Sorry... I mean, I apologise for my manners. I haven't really spoken with people for far longer then you've lost your memory. I was in your ship when hell broke down...but I didn't fight. I wasn't a crew member I was a passenger and this was my first time in a fight...they took me as prisoner and I was a slave to them. So I don't really get body language and proper manners as I forgot them" Vanilla let out a sigh and just looked up at Kaz and the mouse.

"Im sorry for not thinking to much about what I was saying to both of you...names Vanilla...I know I said it down stairs but with a bolt pointed at me. And yours? I know what I said down stairs was insensitive. I just looked for anatomy to tell..."

She looked at the mouse

Yes that mouse did actually not remember that entire rat thing up until now and all of a sudden the kobold apologizes to her making her ears perk in surprise
"In all honesty I kinda...... forgot." hand on top of her head, she just scratches it in a surprisingly stupid manner
"Was pretty mad at the time and being called a rat was just the tip of the iceberg............" stopping the head scratching she points towards the captn
"You should rather work on improving yourself talking with her, you're bringing up a shitton of stuff she doesn't like why just not try to... talk NORMALLY and not try to bring up a painful past?" wiggling her eyebrows the mouse just takes another shot absolutly casual

Very slowly Kazmina rested her face in a hand and sighed. She had hoped today would have been done with, but it just kept going on and on...

"Neither of you are helping," she threw out, getting all of her stuff back into her backpack one item at a time.  "Yer gonna have to put some effort into makin' shit worse, now. But I've got faith you can accomplish that, can't you. Now, what do you want?"

Vanilla was starting to get worked up and rushed over to Kaz standing over her and looking down at the gremlin. She looked like she was getting angry the more Kaz tried to avoid it all.

"So this is it? You wake up, lost with no memory and now that someone told you the tragedy of your past you try to run from it? What happened to the fearless captain of the Ravens wing? Someone was going to tell you this one day and someone like family does and you want to choke them... I saved your life...and your threatening mine. Miss Loudsteel was ruthless but lived with morals...."

The more she spoke the more her voice started to shake and crack as she held in tears.

Their hands reached out, gripping onto the kobold's shirt and pulling her down to see eye to eye with them. Their coldness had not changed, except for a snarl curling at their lips as she continued in a quiet growl, "And then you run along and drop everything I've been looking for in the past seven years, as if I'm supposed to know every little detail that's happened.  Were you expecting some...  Happy little reunion?"

Kazmina's arms fell to her sides.  Shoulders slumped.  Their eyes glanced away from Vanilla, away from Hinawa. There was no anger to her expression anymore, no more thought going into how she held herself, no more looking in charge.
For once, she just looked tired.
"...  I was told Pipmat did this to me," she began, voice on the cusp of quivering.  "And I've been so damn focused on finding a way to get to him.  To kill him.  Ain't had time recently to think on myself, since most of this crew are hardly coordinated.  Y'put me in a bright spotlight, kobold, 'n I wasn't ready fer that.  Hell, still ain't."

Vanilla felt more at ease...her hard work... For the crew and the captain wasn't in vein. "I'd like to join you on your quest, you are going to need me miss Loudsteel. If anything like an anti magic barrier were to come you'd be dead with out me. Similar to a phylactery everyone works differently so it maybe harder with out me around"

"Do you expect me to happily accept every person I meet at face value?  Every person being honest just because they stake their word on it? A very long stretch of silence followed, eyes unwavering from Vanilla. None of this felt favorable for her.  Accepting Vanilla was a risk.  Denying her felt... Wrong.  For as far as she could remember, Kazmina had spent a long time not needing anyone.  Only within the past few weeks had she been given any assistance in the form of whatever this motley crew was, and the captain hated admitting it outright that she needed the help.
"Hinawa?  How many shot glasses did you grab?"

Vanilla looked surprised by the sudden offer and just was left shooked. She snapped out of it and made her way to the table
"I....you have me a bit at a loss for words... How badly do I want to drink?"

The kobold was bad at this....but she gave a soft smile now...in her mind this was enough for her. Even if they continue to be rough on her she atleast got alittle bit of trust and didn't need them to try and push themselves too much further for her. She knew Kazmina was not easily trusting and that this mouse was loyal so it would take time for her to adjust to the new family.

"W-well...I...um...you are rather small, so the alcohol will fill your blood faster then let's say this mouse. There's also genetics that go into play, however if what Miss Silvan says is true, that means the oil in your body also consumes some of the alcohol too."

A few draconic curses followed, fully well aimed at Vanilla.  Some things about "cheating," "made this way," "choke her out later," all in one long jumbled mess.
She was clearly out of her own contest.

She says asking for another shot. Possibly her last just so she can have one more drink over the Capn to say she drank more

Before she took the drink she counted her self down, readying her self before drinking it all. The kobold....might have cheated. Either that or she knew how to approach this  situation to avoid getting drunk to fast.

The glare at last began to falter, slowly darting between the yellow kobold and the filled glass for her on the table.  "... 'f this was scotch I'd... Probably have this..."  A lot of hesitation followed as she pulled the shot closer to herself.  Kazmina knew she lost, she was not that dense.  Whatever was driving her this far was beyond even her own comprehension.

It never made it to her lips.  Never made it off the table.  But she would smile to Vanilla and give her a little nod.  "A draw it is, then..."
