Resilient Session 7: POV's

Otto Schneider:
11:30 PM - Otto von Kunstmann: * Schneider moves over to one of the trees with his knife and carves "Jaegers were here." into the trunk.
<TheResilientGM> Hector leaves the skin he took from the animal on a small wooden mount by the side of the road.
* Schneider stalks through the woods with Hector behind him heading towards the sound of gunfire.
<TheResilientGM> As you approach, you can see on the opposite side of the creek heavy weapons teams setting up. One such stubber team already fires on your allies. They are completely unaware of you.
* Schneider motions for Hector to assist him and sets up a shot on the gunner.
* Schneider fires off a shot and kills the heavy stubber gunner.
<TheResilientGM> The chaos of battle blinds his comrades of any direction of the fire taken. They simply drag the man's body to one side and one takes his potision in his stead.
<Schneider> Hector fires a shot after Schneider and hits the heavy stubber's ammo bearer.
<Schneider> "Good shot."
* Schneider fires again and kills another soldier.
11:30 PM - Otto von Kunstmann: <TheResilientGM> The heavy weapons teams abandon their positions.
* Schneider fires off another shot into the charging troopers.
* Schneider taps Hector on the shoulder and motions him to follow him to get a better view on the battle.
<TheResilientGM> Hector follows close behind.
* Schneider whispers. "We need a find a way to break this. Search for an officer or something leading them."
<TheResilientGM> "I'm crossing over" Hector rushes to the other side of the creek.
* Schneider nods and covers him until he's on the other side.
<Schneider> Once he's on the other side Hector covers Schneider as he crosses the river.
<TheResilientGM> Hector runs behind the charging enemy formation, "I heard the bastard from here"
<Schneider> "Stay here, we'll mow them down from back here."
* Schneider goes prone and starts searching for more targets.
<TheResilientGM> Across the creek, you can see the battle raging on. Behind the enemy formation, stands the enemy commander and his squad.
* Schneider takes aim at the enemy commander. "Help me out here Hector."
<TheResilientGM> "Oh, the Jaegers are going to love this..."
<Schneider> "Mmmhmm"
* Schneider fires a shot.
11:30 PM - Otto von Kunstmann: <TheResilientGM> The enemy Commander is hit on his side, and he instantly drops. The men around him quickly scramble to aid him. Several soldiers form around him aimlessly firing in every direction to "cover" the men dragging him away.
* Schneider fires another round at the Commander.
<TheResilientGM> One of the guarding soldiers is hit and instantly killed by the round.
* Schneider mutters under his breath.
<TheResilientGM> His comrade opens fire in your direction, but misses.
* Schneider fires a shot and watches at the lasbolt passes through the Commanders eye and hits a tree behind him.
<TheResilientGM> It takes several seconds before the men around him come to the realization that their commander is a limp carcass.
<Schneider> "So who's gonna believe us that we killed a Commander? Should we take his head?"
<TheResilientGM> Hector smiles, and readies his knife.
<TheResilientGM> Most men ignore their commander's body and run, only a couple of the men in his squad remain behind to carry his body away.
* Schneider takes aim at them and fires.
<Schneider> One of the soldiers carrying his dead commander drops dead.
<TheResilientGM> The other soldier, panics and breaks.
<Schneider> "Should we let him tell stories of Ghosts in the woods?"
11:30 PM - Otto von Kunstmann: <TheResilientGM> "I think their friends deserve to hear a thing or two about the Jaegers."
<TheResilientGM> He lowers his weapon.
* Schneider chuckles and heads over to the Commander with his knife out.
<TheResilientGM> Around you the last remnants of the fleeing enemy run past you in utter panic.
<TheResilientGM> Soon, it's just you and the prized corpse.
* Schneider quickly uses his knife to cut off the officers head and leaves a note around what used to be his neck saying "Jaegers were here."
