- Excellent machinery, storage, compartmentation space
- Excellent accommodation and workspace room
- Ship has slow, easy roll, a good, steady gun platform
- Excellent seaboat, comfortable, can fire her guns in the heaviest weather
- H-44, with the proposal modified to be slightly less absurd - instead of eight 20+ inch guns, the ship is armed with twelve 42 centimeter (or 16.54") guns, and instead of a mixed battery of primarily anti-surface 15 centimeter guns and primarily anti-aircraft 10.5 centimeter guns, it has a dual-purpose secondary gun battery of twenty 12.8 centimeter guns, as well as having a vastly more robust medium and light anti-aircraft armament. As a bonus, the ship is able to be slightly smaller, slightly faster, and just as well armored. 30.33 knots flank speed, 19 knots cruising speed, 20,000 nautical miles range at cruising speed.
