- <lubosz> i was profiling my branch with cprofile, to figure out performance issues. i will continue doing that and have some ideas why it is that slow. the box drawing is fast without a video modifier, so the issue has to be updating the viewer widget with the effect in the pipeline. i have to figure out how to update the transformation box more frequently than the modified video signal. next i will acquire deeper understanding of how and

- <Mathieu_Du> Scrummed already ?
- <thiblahute> Mathieu_Du, Yes, sent you lubosz report, now your turn
- <Mathieu_Du> Yep ok, well yesterday I binded the formatter, updated the simple.py example and pushed it to a branch named "integration" on my github, and I am now integrating the timelinepipemine in pitivi, right now I do tests, and clicking on play on the viewer launches an arbitrary project in a separate window. Done

- <dash9> I reviewed the select-unused-files branch (Saturday IIRC). Done.
- <lubosz>i have to scrum early today, i have to go off soon. i was trying to refresh the video signal in der viewer more quickly, to aviod a flickering bug when the transformation is drawn. i am still on that. done

- <Mathieu_Du> Yesterday I started having fun with ges in python, and achieved my mid-term evaluation goal quite quickly :) Anyway, it's clear that the real part of the job lies ahead, but I'm pretty happy to have it working anyway. I had a strange bug with one specific project, with pitivi hanging when trying to load it, and that project loads perfectly with the python example in the bindings branch sio that's strange,
- <luisbg> for the last few days I've been learning about GES, playing around with the code, looking at it and fixing little stuff in the test/example code
- the first big task that I want to implement is layer/track mixing
- but first I need to be comfortable around the codebase and have a design chat with mr bilbo
- <Mathieu_Du> I investigated a little and found that when removing a certain effect it worked anew, but I couldn't find the link and put that on my todolist, as I wanted to go ahead. Now I'm starting to try and load the project in the timeline but this is way more difficult Done sorry luisbg but today I had a massive scrum xD
- <luisbg> having said that, if anybody sees any bugs in GES, I'm happy to take a look at it
- Mathieu_Du, no problem :) my bad for not waiting for the done
