Shane entered the ring with a mic, sad and angry.

"Dad...Vince. What I just saw was a travesty, and a goddamned shame. This is where you'd think I'd be here to say 'I told you so'. Well, that's what I planned to do. But I just can't. I can't because even after all the things you've done, all the crap you've been responsible for...well, you're my dad. So I won't rub it in. This isn't the time for that. The only thing I'm really out here to let you know is..."

Shane stuffled his feet a bit, and cleared his throat before continuing.

"...is that despite our falling out, despite the acrimony between us these last few months, I'm out here. And I want you to know that I am willing to forgive you. If you can come out and accept my forgiveness, this can all be over, and we can be a family again."

Vince came out, no theme music, but with Shawn Michaels alongside him. Vince and Shawn were humble and subdued and their willingness to come out drew a few cheers from the crowd. Vince entered the ring and locked eyes with Shane, and the camera caught his eyes almost welling up with tears.

"Shane, I don't know what to say. Except to say... I don't deserve a son like you." Shane and Vince engaged in a heartwarming embrace and Shawn took the mic.

"Wow Shane, we kinda went off our rockers there, didn't we? No hard feelings?" Shane smiled, and the two shook hands, before Shawn pulled Shane in for another hug. When they broke, Shawn turned his back, looking overwhelmed by the moment... BEFORE NAILING SHANE WITH A SNAP SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Vince immediately rushed to his son's aid and started berating Shawn. The crowd booed the hell out of HBK, and he acknowledged this by flipping a double bird. Vince helped Shane to his feet to a round of applause from the crowd, before knocking him right back to the mat with a low blow! As Shane was writhing on the mat, Vince crouched down to make eye contact.

"I don't deserve a son like you...I DESERVE A BETTER SON THAN YOU! IT'S YOUR FAULT I'VE LOST CONTROL OF THIS COMPANY! YOU'RE WEAK, SHANE! WE COULD HAVE DONE IT TOGETHER, BUT YOU'RE WORTHLESS!"

Vince then stood up, pointing an accusatory finger at the hard cam before whipping it around at each and every person in the crowd.

"It's YOUR fault! And YOUR fault! And YOUR fault! IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH MAKING YOU IDIOTS HAPPY I'D STILL BE IN CONTROL!"

Vince threw down the mic and stormed off alongside Shawn, with Shane still curled up on the mat.
