Vergil flared steel and Pushed him away. He drew his sword once again. As Sam skid across the Qliphoth, he leaned down and pulled the trigger on his scabbard repeatedly. Sword after sword flew towards Vergil hilt-first. Vergil deflected the stream. But in doing so, he ceased his Push. Which meant Sam could close the gap once again.
