[04:55:04] Jack's only reprieve was meditation all though he couldn't really feel the mana flowing around him he was at least able to calm himself and allow some inkling of his sanity to remain. Although his injuries were still fresh he tended to them as best he could by remembering Rilla's own medical work. He missed his friends the most. The ones he had left behind, Those who stood and fought with him. Jianghu's raid on Prosperity was the beginnings of war. Jack couldn't tell if the war had begun or even if his life was no longer of concern.

All Jack could do was bide his time. As a rune scribe he knew that without someone there to restore the Anti Magic Collar it would soon loosen and allow Jack to break free from this hell scape. He was glad no one checked on him if he was indeed able to use his magic to break free and escape it would allow Valmasia to execute any prisoners they were holding. It seemed that their forces were scattered from what Jack could tell when he had woken up before his imprisonment.


He wondered how Valmasia would respond to the raid both Gehenna and Jianghu teaming up to fight them off. It was deplorable they had no honor and no right to stand on this continent. They showed that they would use whatever prejudice they hold against Valmasia to wage war. But it would be impossible to stop now. War was coming and they only real way to win against two powerful Enemies was to have strong soldiers and necromancers as well as the demons who sought free roam in Avalon to join forces. Jack wished he could be apart of that march the one that would have them take back their enemies fortress and destroy any plans they had for assault. It was unfortunate that Valmasia had to fight two enemies at once but they would make way and show them that Azrael's and the Immortal Litch will defeat all who stand in their way.

[05:03:35] Jack figured he would continue to meditate, He wondered what had become of Esra after she came to Jianghu. He knew that the couldn't be trusted after all he's read he knew that Jianghu had no honor in civilized talks or meetings all the cared about was inflicting damage to their enemies and suppressing their culture as a whole. Jack wished he could break free of these shackles and at least take one of them with him as he did.

The Jianghu forces were cowards and weaklings using hit and run tactics during peace times to try and defeat us however they were defeated easily showing full well that the forces of Avalon wouldn't lose to their meagerness. They had been gathering forces and cultivating warriors and magi to be ready for the war that was evidently coming. Jack could do nothing but wait for such a moment when the woman who defeated him Nakano to be murdered and her body strung high on Valmasia's walls.


Not to mention the Gehennans they were indeed a threat too. Their blood lust for seeing Valmasia fall was immense but they would only follow the coat tails of Jianghu. Had they warriors of Jianghu all been quelled and their weakness shown they would surely run and cower letting Valmasia and Jianghu continue their fights.

[05:16:07] Jack's death would be needed in order for Valmasia to stand strong and firm against its enemies. He needed to know that at least his home land was safe that the would fight back against their enemies with those thoughts in mind Jack knew that he at least had some peace of mind. He of course would've preferred to grow stronger and eventually help fight in the war against them but he knew that it was an impossible thing to want. His only hope was to give himself up to the reality that was his death.

Jack wished he could at least control mana once more at least have a fighting chance to be able to break himself out or attempt to. His speed was something to be noted within Avalon yet he knew he wouldn't be able to get very far without the use of his magic. He could barely break the bars with out enhancing his body.


He all he could do was fade himself in and out of conciseness allowing his wound and his body the rest they needed. He would continue to process his situation and the void of hope. He would funnel this feeling holding onto the last hope he had not for himself but that his country men would destroy this Arden Cliff and march their undead soldiers into the heart of Gahanna's tribes and rip their hearts out.

[05:29:24] Jack thought about his goals and how he was no longer able to master deeper forms of Hellstorm or even learn the magic he had been pursuing as well Necromancy and other forms of magic that would help him grow stronger. His life was forfeit and such a time. It was sad that he had nothing else to look forward to and nothing else he could rely on as a way out. The Jianghu's barely even spoke to him let alone acknowledge his right as a prisoner.


He would curse them as much as he could up until the moment of his death. His pride as a soldier had been smeared and their kind were among the less worthy to do so Jack wished he could shock them all to hell with his magic. If only it hadn't been suppressed in such a manner he would take as many of them as he could.

Jack was glad at least the people of Valmasia would rise to the occasion he was the only prisoner taken so he knew that he would be able to suffer alone and have his people fight for their own sakes instead of his.

[05:37:39] Jack continued his meditation training in his own mind imagining the sensation of mana was like trying to imagine the sensation of a tooth ache. Sure the pain was immense when it was happening however once that feeling is gone your mind shuts away so you wouldn't be able to recreate it.
Jack knew that he wouldn't get another chance to fight but he imagined himself on the war grounds a full necromancer a full warrior able to take the heads of many of their soldiers he wished only to gain more power so he could do exactly that.

Having been cut off from his mana and the outside was torture in and of itself. He knew nothing of what was happening outside these four walls and the strain of such a thing weighed heavily on is mind. He knew not how to handle such a thing anymore Not knowing was almost as worst as dying. He figured he would continue to imagine himself killing and torturing those who did so to him. He would show no more mercy or surrender to his foes.


If only he had been stronger strong enough to support Quinten during the raid he wouldn't have found himself in this situation. However things were as the are now and nothing he did or said would change that from happening at least not in the condition that he was in. He would have to bide his time awaiting for the perfect opportunity when his wounds have healed and his collar was freed from his neck giving him control of his mana. He would be sure to attack in full force when such a time came. All though he didn't have staff any longer He would be sure to use whatever he could to fight back against his enemies.

[05:42:27] Jack focused on the feeling he got when using lightning the rushing feeling of being able to fly across the terrain at high speeds. Its why the higher ups would have faith in his abilities to travel a great distance in short time. He was capable of much with his power and to be cut off complete by his enemies there was nothing worst no worse punishment than sitting in a cell for defending his country.

He would harbor nothing but hate for the Alliance that teamed up on Valmasia even after they were beaten in the wars years ago. It was their foolishness that caused them to have many march on them and their foolishness that allowed them to be so bold as to attack yet again. Soon Jianghu's reckoning would come and along with them Gehenna will fall. Jack knew that such things would occur the military of Avalon needed a push but it would soon raise up and crush all who stood in their way.

[05:50:10] Jack would remember his first attempts at magic and finding a tutor or even when he decided to join the military many of people wanted nothing to do with him until eventually he was able to join and slowly began to shape what sort of person he would become. Jack was low born but he had learned to read and write due to his ability in magic and Valmasia's policy to educate all potential magi. Seeing how things in Agatha weren't necessarily stable yet they sent him here before his training figuring that he would learn more from battle experience in the new continent but really Jack knew they didn't want to add a low born to the ranks of Valmasia's armies.

However although he knew this he didn't worry about such things he would continue to train himself and finally once he met Kvaja in Agartha he felt that someone would be more than willing to teach him magic. Soon after he met Lady Rilla and Tarquin so many people that were his friends and fellow soldiers that made him enjoy Avalon and its people.

Ceres and Rebecca , were also prominent necromancers and would be the best teachers from him to learn from. He would be more than happy to do so if he hadn't been in his predicament but it seems that sort of thing was impossible now. All he could do is watch and wait for what his fate would be. However the fond memories of his home would keep him sane. At least for some time more.

[06:00:12] He remembered fighting the Nagual woman and capturing her a moment he would feel like a real soldier and magi able to be useful to his people however how things were only meant that he wouldn't ever be of service again. His only option now was to give himself up and allow Valmasia to grow without him. He had only been a soldier and a member of Avalon's army for about two years but they were they best of his life.

He would remember mastering the occult with his friends in the Black Court even learning more about himself than he had ever realized. His first time being able to use Hellstorm and charging it into his body as well. All the good memories all the bad memories. All the remarks that were thrown his way from the country he was from all these things would be of no use now. Yet they still gave him some comfort.

He wished that he could become stronger. That he could've been a better magi it was something that he wanted from the start and now he wouldnever be able to regain that dream. It was soon to be decided what his fate would be he wondered when it would come.

[06:17:47] Jack would continue pondering and day dreaming about his forgotten life hoped that with his capture and the attacks from the Jianghu forces he would get his revenge eventually. Slowly he faded back into a slumber not having much strength to do anything else but that. His body was healing but it had still been weakened being unable to sustain mana for so long it took a toll on him.

He would watch for the time when he could no longer be burdeed by such things but it seemed nothing would go in his favor after all he was just a prisoner.

[07:40:30] As he faded into his slumber exhausted and still feeling aches of pain from his collar he looked reminded himself yet again that soon war would fall upon the Agartha yet again and he gave his last wishes to those who fought with Avalon and Valmasia those who pledge themselves to fighting for the freedom to practice their arts and not be restricted by the binds of self righteous imperialist and ignorant savages. There would soon be a day when they will face their defeat and Jack knew that it would be soon. He may not be able to join such a war but he would damn sure wish for the Jianghu's and Gehennans and all whom sought to be an Enemy of Avalon and Valmasia to die the worst of deaths.

[08:07:15] Jack combined the last remain ounce of his energy to try to do a few physical exercises. Even if he couldn't use mana he could at least plan his escape he hadn't been familiar with the structure of the city but he knew that more or less he would be able to break free from the shackles with in a few days time and he would move as fast as his injury would let him.

He figured it would be best for him to wait until he fully healed seeing as he would need some time to recover mana as well and seeing that he didn't have a staff or even a weapon he was at his enemies behest unless he used his speed to out maneuver them. With some luck he would be able to charge himself with his occultic lightning and be able to easily move himself away from any threats that appeared.

Jack wanted to join the wars no matter what he would put his life on the line to be sure to make it to help and assist his people. He gathered himself resolved to do this he continued his training. Even if his body being physically fit mattered it was the mental relief he got from doing the exercise that made him more willing to live more willing to flee and escape. He wanted to become a soldier that could help his people and he would stop at nothing to achieve this dream

[08:16:35] Jack would wait and bait his time gather his strength doing chin ups and sit ups although the pain from his injury was still present he decided he would fight through it allowing he didn't have any guards situated where he was so he figured that this was the best thing he could do was improve his lacking skills. Perhaps if he had better training and physical aptitude he would have been able to beat Nakano or at the very least been able to avoid her attacks to allow Quinten to strike back at her.

He felt like a failed occultist being unable to sub due the light which radiated through her body. He had heard once that she was indeed the strongest Exorcist with all of the Ardent Cliffs which made lots of sense having fought her. She really lived up to the name of Jianghu's Juggernaut. Jack would fight to keep his life in his own hands.

[15:41:25] Jack would sit pondering his fate after much time of being in solitary confinement he would here a singular rugged voice coming from behind his bars. Someone asking him a question something he hadn't considered ever would happen unless, unless this was his time. When his fate would be decided his question would ask if he had any regrets.

" I have plenty of regrets any man who has been wrongly charged for defending his country would. I regret not becoming a necromancer and finishing my training. I regret not having the for sight to fight in a battle with a magi who out classes me, and I regret being to weak to fight when I wasn't read."

The resolve in the mans eyes showed much but even lined with regrets he still knew that nothing would come of his opinion given the way Jianghu's feels about Necromancers and Occultist. Yet he would still voice his mind.

"I tell you this now young man. Being weak is not what caused this situation. What caused it was two different words that couldn't connect to the other. Taka eyes were blank but he would only just sit.

"To me I have will have no regrets because I know what I will die for and who I died for. I will die knowing I changed lives or even a single life. Regrets are things that will torture your soul. Even at the end of the days we all must focus on the things that made us smile. That made even the darkest times fill with light."

He would cough.

"You maybe my enemy but you are a being. You fight and would die for your home. Just as I would. We all go into a fight thinking we are prepared. But are we ever truly prepared? At times we all just go with instinct. Some with minds to kill and some with minds to protect. Young man always remember the things you done that made someone happy. Don't leave this world today or in the future with regret. Because your regret will only strangle you in the afterlife."

Jack would look disappointed in the mans words. He told him to smile to not regret yet how could one not? when his friends were in dire need of his aid. Even if he wouldn't be help at least he could fight and die on the battle field with truly no regrets.

" I have nothing for you sir. You come to me with kind word but I can say for certain that my death here would be filled with regrets I die without my people or perhaps achieve victory with them. Not knowing and not being able to participate that is the true regent of my life."

With that he slumped into the corner wall in his cell.

The man would get up and begin to walk away but stop.

"There will be no victory when either side wins or losses. Because at the end of this it will be only sadness. You sound eager for this to commence. I would rather talk and sip tea. But that is not how politics work in this place. Maybe one day I would change things."

Jacks words were aimed like daggers however he wished not to strike for blood. Instead to strike for realization of the truth. The mans logic made sense on a one sides view. But from the perspective of a prosecuted man how could he possibly know the depths of his peoples suffering?
