  1. The new exp share makes it so lower level Pokémon can catch up while not giving the full exp to higher level Pokémon, making it actually viable to add to switch up your team whenever you wanted.
  2. You missed/ignored the point, The problem is not that it exists, it's that it's not an option, you cannot disable it like you could in previous titles.
  3. Okay. You also don’t have any hold in how this is groundbreaking. Its a change, and whether you view it as a good or bad change it purely an opinion. I view it as okay, you view it was bad. Accept it.
  4.
  5. Arguably one of the most open Pokémon games to date. (map bigger than Red/Blue for sure, bud)
  6. Again, missed/ignored the point. It's the most open game to date yet it is still the most Linear
  7. You really enjoy thinking I missed the point. I didn’t. I’m calling you out on a different way it can be interpreted. Glad you agree it’s the most open game to date. That’s a plus, checkmate.
  8.
  9. Every city does actually mean something in this game, only the starting town doesn’t have a gym, unless other games which had so many filler towns.
  10. They only mean something because you're railroaded into going there because there's a gym battle/a rival battle/a story exposition dump/or team yell is blocking every other path
  11. And it’s insane how that can add to the immersion for some players. It really seems like every single thing you’re saying is opinionated and can be interpreted in a better light than the one you’re giving. Better than the old games where you could spend so much time getting to a new town. Only for it not to matter at all and just move on instantly with no relevance. These towns all have relevance. Check
  12.
  13. So many gorgeous locations, arguable some of the prettiest areas in Pokémon and gaming today: The mines, the forest, Fairy gym city, alleyway city, Wild area, etc.
  14. the mines are a shoddy hallway with shiny rocks in it, the forest is a forest(pretty hard to fuck that up), the fairy gym city has nothing in it except for the gym, Like I said, the alleyway city(which is a hallway in every sense of the word) is the only good city in the game, the wild area is the size of an ocean with the depth of a puddle
  15. Wow. That’s so opinionated that it’s not even funny. Also.. wrong? How the hell is the forest a forest. It’s lighted beautiful, the colors are amazing, and the atomshpere is refreshing. The mines are pretty. Spikemouth is one of MANY good areas in the game. It’s your opinion that’s it’s the only one. When will you learn what opinions are.
  16.
  17. The Wild area is one of the most open and fun places in gaming, so many people I’ve talked to just spend hours walking around it, being chased by Pokémon, etc.
  18. The only worthwile thing to do in the wild area is to set up camp
  19. N-n-no..? Hell, as much as I praised the game, I barely set up camp. That’s just another plus for the game, while leaving everything I said still true.
  20.
  21. God, Raids are so fun online with friends.
  22. When you can find your friends in the god awful matchamking system
  23. Literally it’s never been harder for me than maybe needed to back out and start it again.
  24.
  25. With how the local communication works, this is by far the best to sit by a friend together and play.
  26. Sucks for anyone with online friends, though
  27. Ha, my life. I WISH I had friends I was close to that weren’t online to play it with. I was saying how fun that WOULD be if I could, glad you agreed though. Check.
  28.
  29. The act of earning TR’s vs TM’s and managing candies and rewards and Watts is great.
  30. TRs are just old TMs in a pretty new packaging, How do you need to manage somethig you get given in such abundance that you'll never really run out?
  31. Because buying wishing stars, giving the diggers W until I can finally get the dang rare fossils. Getting these extra good old TM’s early. I saw Earthquake during my first time in the wild area! But I could not collect enough W for it in time.
  32.
  33. The weather system makes it so the environment and Pokémon are always changing, more so than definitely any other entry in the series.
  34. yeah it would if it made any sense, there shouldn't be a sandstorm in the middle of a frozen lake.
  35. It’s diversity. Every area has all the weather conditions. Also, frozen lake? That’s not a thing?
  36.
  37. This is the first time in the series both games actually share what legendary they get during the main story That’s dope.
  38. What do you mean by this?
  39. The main story we got that 3rd legend Pokémon instead of the Mozart legends. First time in the series.
  40.
  41. Hop, such a good character actually. So many wrongful criticisms of him. First friend rival to actual have a full on mental crisis over always losing. Not just “it’s okay!”
  42. Hop is a worse version of barry wrapped up in a worse version of hau, he only has a mental crisis after losing to bede specifically, he's always okay when he loses to you, the player, because you're supposed to win.
  43. Opinions. Here’s mine. Hop is an insanely INSANELY better version of Hau, and only compares to Barry in the rushing along, and better than Barry too, I never liked Barry that much. Also, wrong. When he starts feeling better, it’s when he realized how much better you are, THATS when he has the crisis.
  44.
  45. The end of the game felt so much like the anime. They took their approach and made it a tournament. And it was just FUN.
  46. The end of the game was a copout, this was supposed to be this game's equivalent of the elite and they throw level 40s at you up until the champion
  47. The end of the game wasn’t at all a cop out. It was the first time in Pokémon history the rivals actually meant something since Blue. And again, IS WAS FUN, is was so much like the anime. And it made the Champion fight that much more surprising and challenging when you were expecting lower levels than what he had. I was over leveled until him, then I was underleveled. And that lead to a fun battle. More so, was the Hop fight in the post game. Fun.
  48.
  49. The postgame was insane, I knocked it out in one sitting. It felt like a somewhat different game but streamlined. Fun.
  50. That's because it's the end of the main story, not postgame. They thought they could get away with putting it after teh champion fight and calling it postgame.
  51. Wrong. The main story WAS the Pokémon Gym Challenge and overthrowing the champion. You can’t just say the extra story after the text “The End” isn’t post game. It is. And it’s different. And it’s good.
  52.
  53. Many fun new Pokémon.
  54. They only work because they were made specifically for this game
  55. That’s how.. new Pokémon work? Glad you agree they were fun.
  56.
  57. Insane redesigns this time around for Galarian forms and Gigantamax, blew me away.
  58. A dumb snake and charizard got gigantamax forms but the starters of this region didn't.
  59. I do wish the starters got Gigantamax, but how does that take away from the ones who did?
  60.
  61. Dynamax as a whole is such a more tame and fun mechanic, with the limits.
  62. They mixed mega evolution with Z moves and made it last 3 turns, not exactly revolutionary, it's also broken in every sense for competitive play which is going to make this year's VGC boring to watch after the dex cut gave everyone hope for a better one.
  63. No, it’s gonna make competitive the most fun it’s been in a while. Instead of it always being broken all the time, you got 3 turns to be broken. No infinite Mega’s. I love Mega’s don’t get me wrong, but they were way more broken. This will be more fair.
  64.
  65. First time the Champion and adults actually stopped you from helping and said to leave it to them, until forced
  66. and all it cost was your character intentionally missing story beats, like when random wild pokemon started dynamaxing. Because the champion said to not worry about it, that you were just a normal kid at the time. What made you different than any other gym challenger until you were champion?
  67.
  68. Insane animations, personal favorite being Snipe Shot.
  69. They made 1 good animation for each of the starters, amazing.
  70. As well as all the new moves. The legends moves. Remasters for old moves, Dynamax moves, the animations during some of the cutscenes, also the spin pose alone is one of the best things ever.
