1:00 The circumstances leading to Kiryu Coco leaving Hololive
1:04 are the results of the Taiwan incident, bullying that can be called racial discrimination from part of the management,
1:11 and the movement to alienate her.
1:17 First of all,
1:18 there are magnitude of chinese insiders as shareholders and sponsors. (Do a search yourself on investors)
1:23 Kiryu Coco, being American,  has never been liked much from her debut by those (chinese insiders)
1:29 For example, about publishing videos on bilibili,
1:32 she asked the Chinese branch on how to, but got ignored.
1:35 As the result, she is the only one that has never been explained about the procedures and could never stream on bilibili,
1:39 so there has been tiny bullyings from the beginning.
1:42 But those are just petty, if you would compare to things later on.
1:47 The turning point, was what I have reported on this channel earlier.
1:52 On 25th September 2020, Kiryu Coco has made AsaCoco and showed Youtube analytic in there
1:57 and reported Taiwan and China as separate countries.
2:00 After that, even though there has been huge shitstorm in China,
2:04 Kiryu Coco did not do any explanation and did AsaCoco normally, so it was controversial.
2:11 But in fact, Kiryu Coco had been trying to do apology and explanation,
2:17 but after she told the contents of those (apology and explanation) to management, they stopped her.
2:23 Why is that you ask?
2:25 Because the thing Kiryu Coco wanted to say in her apology stream
2:28 was “I did not know I can’t touch this subject about Taiwan and China”.
2:35 Even before, in Hololive,
2:36 there were China-related shitstorm with Minato Aqua and Usada Pekora,
2:40 and there has been official announcements from Cover about each of those incidents,
2:43 and said to Chinese shareholders, Chinese sponsors and Chinese viewers they would “Focus on educating the Hololivers from now on”.
2:50 But in reality, they did nothing of sorts.
2:53 If Kiryu Coco said something about that (them doing nothing to educate the Hololivers), the burden of responsibility would fall on management.

3:00 Fearing this, Cover stopped her apology stream,
3:04 and punished her without any explanation beforehand.
3:08 After that, they did a “one china policy” announcement because of angry shareholders.
3:15 That resulted in huge shitstorm.
3:19 That time, it said
3:21 “Their fault is from showing their youtube channel data to others without any modifications” (tl note: same nuance as distributing copyright materials)
3:28 in the official announcement.
3:29 But, there are no agreements nor guideline about that in Hololive,
3:32 and there has been cases in the past where Hololivers read out their analytic.
3:37 Internally, there has been a significant crash between Hololiver(s) and the management about how is that (showing analytic) bad.
3:43 So, the management, fearing that the Hololivers would cooperate on that,
3:49 planned to kick Kiryu Coco out, who has never been liked by a portion of sponsors and shareholders anyways.
3:54 As example, after her punishment hiatus, even there has been a lot of spam and death threats, management made it her own responsibility and left her on her own.
4:01 They intentionally did not invite Kiryu Coco to official streams and did not give her any sponsorship projects (eg. Subaru Pekora Aqua’s Nisshin curry meshi),
4:05 denying projects she purposed and not allowing her to collab with HoloEN/other oversea people.
4:13 From those facts, Kiryu Coco realized she were being alienated. Then on 11 November,
4:18 “To protect Kiryu Coco” (as she tweeted), she went on hiatus again.
4:23 She came back on 14 December, but the bullying continued.
4:29 They did not do anything about the spams.
4:30 On the official Hololive website,
4:32 whenever a Hololiver reaches subscriber milestone, they would release an announcement,
4:37 but they did not when Kiryu Coco reached 1m subscribers.
4:41 After the fanbase that was perplexed by this contacted them,
4:43 they reluctantly released an announcement, and it was really later than normal.
4:50 She has never appeared ever again on the official channel’s animation (Hologra) after the incident.
4:54 Even before the incident, she only ever appeared 3 times, and if not counting her 3d debut, only 2 times.
5:02 The final blow was what I have reported on this channel before,
5:06 the incident when management gave moderator status to a lot of spammers.
5:10 I thought that this can’t possibly be human error, and it looks like it was just another bullying
5:17 By this, she broke down,
5:20 and decided to leave Hololive, then informed management about that.
5:23 “Mission accomplished” – management
5:24 The fuckers in management, right after got told that she would leave, stopped any bullying they have done since before.
5:30 From HoloEN collabs, they have lifted any restrictions they have placed on her
5:35 perhaps to make it appear that she left willingly in the end.
5:40 Kiryu Coco even after her graduation, would probably continue her activities on her roommate account,
5:45 but even on there, she has been facing a lot of malicious spam.
5:48 Every time she streams, there would be malicious images posted on twitter with her tags.
5:53 And of course, Cover did not want to do anything about that,
5:57 like they were saying “I don’t care, it’s your own fault”.
6:01 They are using Kiryu Coco’s head as an offering to regain their chinese market.
6:08 It’s probably like if a portion of the investors and sponsors can finally walk on their own motherland.
6:16 Those are the malicious things Cover did to Kiryu Coco, as explained by the source individual.

6:26 but I have information from other sources too about Kiryu Coco’s dissatisfaction for the management.
