- Two beams of light streaked down through the sky and focused on the main reactor building standing almost intact in the middle of the devastation. The thronic aura beam would act as a guide for the missiles that were already on their way.
- Moments later, the main reactor building exploded in a crimson flower of flame. The whole city shook, the heart torn out of it. A gaping, smoking hole lay in the centre of the city complex. But the structure round the edges remained intact.
- 'Thronic missiles enhanced and focused plasmic detonation,' the Dalek Commander observed above the rubble of continuing explosions. 'Reactors have been completely vaporised and blast damage is minimal.'
- 'Battlefield Commander reports no loss to Dalek forces. All Mechonoids now exterminated.'
