When we use technology, do we ever think of how awesome it is? Do we notice how
there is a certain beauty in its ever-increasing complexity? Technology can be as terrible
as nuclear weapons or as wonderful as a car but like it or not, technology is here to stay.

For as far back in human history as we can go, we have used technology. If you were to
separate humans from it totally, you would take away the one thing that separates us from
animals. When I look at technology, I see a relationship between man and machine. I see
technology as a living entity. As we continue to develop and use technology, we will gain
power over our environment. We are its master but as we use it more and more, we will rely
on it to an ever-increasing extent. We have become its slave. Lets us be careful, though, as,
of course, if we misuse it, it could lead to our destruction. I treat dangerous technologies
with due caution but I will always revel in it, no matter what the technology is. We are
human. And with technology, we will conquer anything that stands in our way.
