- Description: Ford was driving in downtown Reno, NV on Thanksgiving Day 1980, when she veered onto the sidewalk and began running over pedestrians. She later declared: “I will get you honkies.” "I deliberately planned to get as many as possible. A Lincoln Continental can do a whole lot of damage, can't it?" "How many did I get?" "The more dead the better. Give the mortuaries the business. That's the American way. Did I get 50? How many did I get? I hope 75."
