Occupation:  i’m still contemplating this— but basically, he’s a civilian. he doesn’t do hero work or villain work. toyo is just your average dude who can crush your car flat like a soda can sometimes. (i might make him a private detective with rinko. might.)
Biography: A foster kid that fell through the cracks, Toyo joined a gang at an early age.  Once his Quirk manifested, he rose through the ranks, making a name for himself one heist after another.

He avoided killing when in his gang, but there were times when he couldn't.

Recently released — and married — Toyo has more or less turned over a new leaf. Unbeknownst to him, he walks around with a target on his back; snitches end up in ditches after all.
Hero/Villain Name:  he is no hero and his “villain” (if you want to be so black and white) past is long gone. toyo made sure to spread word that he, the notorious IRONHIDE, died in prison to avoid any .. repercussions.. due to his bargaining with the police for a shortened jail time. KNOCKOUT is simply the alias he goes under when joining his wife in her detective work.
Costume: both his costumes-- in his criminal days and now in his detective days -- are straight from western culture such as a pinstripe suit like american gangsters and the old-fashioned trench coat detective look.
Motivations: domestic bliss. everyone out here tryna save or ruin lives, but all he's tryna do is settle down and start a family. miss him with your hero and villain bs.
Quirk: matter absorption
Abilities: he can absorb and manifest the properties of multiple solid materials— and use them simultaneously, if need be.

Weaknesses: 1.) he has to keep track of which ones he's using, because he gains their weaknesses, too.  2.) he can't absorb liquids, gases, or superheated materials. (water in the form of ice is the only exception. but, he doesn't do ice because that stuff stings. he's not immune to their normal temperature) 3.) he can and prefers using one material at a time. 4.) he needs to focus on how much he wants to absorb-- normally, he covers hands and arms since it requires less focus compared to covering his entire body.
Other Abilities: man knows how to throw them hands. he practices boxing.

Trivia: i like the idea of him having brass knuckles— a small box of maybe four made of different mineral; titanium, tungsten, chromium, and gold (for show). each one has a fat bar on the knuckles with some lettering like BADASS. he used them a whole lot to knock out a crowd of rival gangs or police — also to absorb the metal (this makes sense right?) nowadays he just uses his wedding band if he needs to punch someone out since it's only enough to cover his fist.
