- WELCOME TO THE ORDER! CADET URI! --
- His first day as a Cadet within the Order of Osrona. Young Uri was asked, why he joined and he gave a clear answer. To become a medic for the sake of his family and his people. To one day live up to the many stories left behind and most importantly, to be a symbol. The Phoenix of Osrona, one who defends through his flames and mend the wounds of many through his compassion for others.
- Mora would add to the queens speech as far as recruitment goes. "If you have the grit for it I suggest you take the offer and join, I will not say that it is going to be easy - I have seen battle and I have lost friends, but we have not lost this city.. and we have no lost our pride."
- She said now crossing her arms behind the queen. "Should you join you will be made the standard of what we stand for - even as a cadet your actions will be a reflection on us all. I may be hard on you, you may even learn to hate me but everything I put you through will be only to prepare you for what I know will come."
- Her black eyes would scan the crowd.
- "So- if you have the heart for it, if you can stomach the challenge I will mold you into a proper knight." There was a sagely nod given at the end of that.
- "If you are more interested in the medical field - I still recommend you join the front, your talents can be used within order we are always indeed of healers."
- There was a long pause - and yet she had another thing to add taking a step forward one would notice how tall the woman was - she towered over a lot of people it was due to this unique size that she had made it this far within the order, it gave her strength.
- "Come the worthy - come the brave, come the ones with courage and fight for the light when it calls for aid."
- After that she would continue to cross her arms, she had added what she wanted too and would now wait for further orders.
- (Mora lux Decleri)
- [21:12] Akame whispers something.
- [21:16] Hearing the call of Mora lux Decleri. Her ancestors.. her family has fought for Osrona and given their lives. So shall she. Faira had made up her mind in full.
- "I Faira La Enfer Sanctum wish to join the Order!"
- Stating this with a sense of conviction and dedication in her tone she got up standing infront of the Queen and Radiant Mora. Hoping to make her self a Cadet on this day.
- She had to for her family's name. As well as her grandmothers efforts.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [21:16] Grey Sanctum whispers something.
- [21:16] Erehn whispers something.
- [21:16] Panas walked away as he'd realise that this was probably a recruitment drive...! Not interested.
- (Panas H. Sartorius)
- [21:16] At that moment. When the opportunity had crossed him. Young Uri would break his shyness, even though he was extremely nervous to confront a polished veteran... He would present himself, bowing to the feet of Mora Lux Declceri..
- "Sir Knight! Please accept me as a medical apprentice of the Order!" He had to get out his fear, speaking to someone with so much rank and history behind the blade. He was not afraid of magic, no he loved the idea of one day becoming the Phoenix of the Order... But, he was nervous, not sure if he was fit for the task, but... He would take this chance to ask the knight before him...
- "May I Join the Order, sir?" He did not want to be rude, as a matter of fact he waited patiently with his sister.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [21:21] Erehn graced the entire place with his cocksure yet casual stride, he had to act like it didn't matter too much to him or he would seem like an idiot and unqualified for the job. Well, he is completely unqualified but not for long.
- He tried to move look at his recruiter by standing on his toes to peer above the crowd, failing to do so and instead choosing to sidestep to get a better angle.
- "Blah blah blah, my family was killed by dogs or something tragic and that's why i want to join blah blah."
- "Look, i don't have anything to say other than i find being a medic the only thing i care about at this point."
- (Erehn)
- [21:24] walks into the dojo while removing her black gloves and placing them into her coat pockets- she gave a sigh and then turned around to look at the group..
- "A lively group of cadets August, you have your work cut out for you." she said wil gripping the mans shoulder with her legendary iron grip.
- "Alright - if you are simply joining the order move to the left of this dojo - if you have special cases I.E. medical field or wish to be a priest you willgo on the right side of the dojo with me."
- "These are the things that is needed, Your name - your age, one goal for your self and where you currently live." she shouted.
- Then she would moving to the right. "August make sure to get everything from them and dock their names I will dock the special cases.. should there be many.."
- (Mora lux Decleri)[21:26] Kabal whispers something.
- [21:26] Mora lux Decleri asks, "Yes jin?"
- [21:26] Uri Sanctum asks, "So, I guess by our low numbers... We're the medics huh?"
- [21:26] Jin Decleri says, "We saw the speech.. We didn't want to interrupt because it seemed important."
- [21:26] Erehn says, "Yup, what's your sad story for joining? I just find it fascinating."
- [21:26] Mora lux Decleri says, "yes.. but I am still working, Jin."
- [21:27] Uri Sanctum says, "Sad story? My grandparents and their parents were in the order... It's more of a tradition."
- [21:27] Uri Sanctum says, "I'm trying to earn my place in my familys history."
- [21:27] Jin Decleri asks, "I know I know.. But.. Can we get in on the practice even if we're not cadets?"
- [21:27] Jin Decleri says, "Pleaaaaase?..."
- [21:27] Erehn says, "I wish my parents passed me down a tradition or something to be honest with ya."
- [21:27] Mora lux Decleri says, "Unfortunately not.."
- [21:27] Mora lux Decleri says, "Well.."
- [21:28] Uri Sanctum asks, "-----Were we suppose to get in a line?"
- [21:28] Mora lux Decleri says, "say maybe we will see run along I have stuff to do right now."
- (Akame)
- [21:29] Jin Decleri asks, "Should we go Mirua?"
- [21:30] He would smile and accept the handshake. "Uri... House of the Sanctum ," he looks to Erehn, they shared a similar hair style. That was a start... He was making friends left and right, but who would truly stay throughout this long journey.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [21:31] Erehn says, "Uh, sorry. "
- [21:31] Erehn whispers: Between you and me guys, they're on that side because they aren't too bright.
- [21:32] Erehn whispers: Not that i'm anything above average.
- [21:32] Mora lux Decleri says, "How funny.."
- [21:32] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "!"
- [21:32] Xyth whispers something.
- [21:32] Mora lux Decleri says, "Anyway let's hear your reason.."
- [21:32] Uri looked at Erehn with widened eyes.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [21:32] Uri Sanctum asks, "My reason?"
- [21:32] Uri Sanctum asks, "For joining right---Ma'am?"
- [21:33] Mora lux Decleri says, "Yes."
- [21:35] He looks at Mora Lux... "Well, my family has a history of scholars... Historians and Knights who have all fought in the great war many years ago..."
- He looks to those next to him. "As much as it pains me to, have this desire to fight. I want to be able to mend the wounds of those injured in battle, so that our home could continue shining..Uhm.."
- He shyfully says, "I wish to be like a phoenix..Fierce but capable... Of a healing hand. To Knights and civilians alike," it was a tradition for the Sanctum to find their light through the Order, but for Uri it was a passion.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [21:39] Mora would watch Uri as he spoke, she stood over him like a tower and watched his every movement. "Ok, how very noble of you - but perhaps you should stop judging your fellow cadets, there will be a time where you will be down and they will be the only ones to save you.."
- A hand would reach for his shoulder. "But you will learn to enjoy them, they are like a family once you get to know them, all of you living to fight for the same cause - the right cause.."
- Then she would start to move to the next. "Welcome to the order Cadet uri, please move to the north and wait for the rest of the screening to be done." then she would stop at Erehn.
- (Mora lux Decleri)
- Uri Sanctum asks, "Looks like we're passing our initial phase so far huh?"
- [21:51] Erehn says, "Yessiree, i think i'll probably be one of the few to pass the later tests."
- [21:51] Erehn says, "You seem well adjusted so we can work together i hope."
- [21:53] He smiles, with both hands rested on his knees. "Yeah, I'm actually counting on it, Erehn." He looks to the other cadets.
- "I hope everyone makes it through. This is after all, our first... First of many days, as medical apprentices..." The young Sanctum could not see his sister from here.
- "Faira, my sister wishes to be a Knight... But I know she'll make it. She's so much like our grandmother and grandfather haha.. She's got energy for days!" He joked.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- Erehn turns to his left and yawns before moving to rest his legs on the other stool, making sure he didn't scuff the seat with his shoes.
- "Don't look at me, i'll move when someone can take the seat." was all that left his mouth when he was justifying his selfish actions.
- "To be honest with you i hope everyone makes it so i'll have less of a workload but hey, job security is a thing."
- Erehn yawned and continued to blabber on about pointless things.
- "I'm more of a medic wannabe than an apprentice to be honest with you, wanna hear my first messed up story?"
- (Erehn)
- [21:59] Erehn stopped hiding his racial features AYY THE ADMINS FIXED IT
- (Erehn)
- [21:59] Erehn whispers: Between you and me.
- [21:59] Erehn whispers: You're alright, small ears.
- [22:03] He raised an ear, by that. I mean he leans over a bit to better understand this ones words. Even though Uri came from a family that existed long before this dojo was upgraded. He was humbled, actually nervous if he could even measure up to the stories told to him about his ancestors, if he could make his family proud and maintain the titles they've earned.
- "No friend. Here. Despite our experience, we're all students, who will one day mend many wounds, so that our comrades could return to their families, and share many war stories to come."
- He dared to look at Erehn with a smile, a big grin, "My parents always said that, a legend is nothing without a commoners praise and a comrades aid." He nods.
- "But tell me, that story of yours... I don't know much about anyone here aside from my sister... Why don't you tell me, while we can speak that is."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- "A legend is nothing without a commoners praise... It's just a phrase passed down through our family... It means that everyone matters, and to never lose sight on the people around you and everyone who has given you a hand to get where you are."
- He looks to Mora to see what would happen next.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [22:13] Mora lux Decleri whispers: all of you go join the others..
- [22:13] Uri Sanctum says, "---Guys."
- [22:14] Uri Sanctum says, "We must go.
- [22:20] Hearing the others he could get the message from their long speeches about protecting the city. So, Uri would place his right hand onto his chest, right where his heart would be. He stood in the position of attention. He looked the Knights before him dead in the eye. His left hand would be flat and pointed to the heavens, a traditional Military style form of swearing in, making an oath to the cause and to all the comrades around him.
- "I, Uri Sanctum, will honorably serve by taking this oath. From this day forth." He may have been nervous but he was cultured in the tradition just as his sister Faira and cousin Grey might have been.
- He stands by a new friend of his, Erehn, a fellow Medical Apprentice. He repeats anything else he may have missed.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [23:25] He was intrigued by Joaquin's story, just as he was by those other new faces he has met. But now, Uri was into this fight, a fellow unarmed fighter.
- Someone he could possibly measure his strength against. "Hey sis, maybe I should go for a round with him, since we're both in that category right now." He couldn't mend any small injuries just yet, he was apprentice but one with am empty cup, waiting to learn the true wisdom of the medical profession.
- But for now, he would study their bodies, from a little note book of his. Marking down where the knock out points were. It was not much but it was honest work.
- "So, how about it guy? Got energy left to spar with me?" He ask Anthem Altin.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- His strikes land with accuracy with each clash of fist the young boys give time after time. Each blow hurt, he was durable, but fighting magi was always something that was difficult.
- He was only lucky that he didn't have to deal with the burning sensation of flames and heated air.
- "Ahh, you're pretty good. You plan on being a cadet with the order soon? I've been thinking about it but I'm on the fence. I kinda don't like have to take orders from all these big knights, but at the same time, it's good to help out the city when everyone needs it."
- (Anthem Altin)
- [23:42] He would help humself up. Looking at the guy before him. "Actually~ I am a cadet... I'm part of the medical core, so, I won't exactly be a knight but, a surgeon if that makes sense...Well, an apprentice first off!" He declares as he looks over his shoulder.
- "My sister started off with magic, while I felt I should take my time and focus on my hand to hand combat...As a medic, it's handy to know the right spots to strike."
- He looks at Altin up and down, "If you change your mind friend, I'm sure you'd make a great knight! The process isn't hard and from what I see... The Order takes care of its people," Uri says with a grin.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [23:44] Anthem Altin says, "Fair enough man."
- [23:44] Anthem Altin exclaims, "Take it easy!"
- [23:44] Anthem Altin asks, "I'll see you around yah?"
- [23:45] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Mhm!"
- [23:45] It was an upset, an absolute disgrace! Rather rude swipes of his claws had fallen short a fair amount of the time; Shocks of lightning just barely scraping the Sanctum's hair as she weaves him along the outskirts of the mats. Snarling soon builds up in his throat as he continued the chase until--
- Bam, he's shoulder-checked into the mats. A wild volley of sparks follows him down as he flails about for a moment. Huffing, puffing, it's clear the Avitus was wildly upset!.. Though with an eventual sigh he'd calm down. There was talk of something decently interesting for once from someone.
- Going faster beyond the limits of humans.
- "... Aye, tha'll be m' one day. Ain't happenin' right now, but in time y' won't be able to make m' so slow." Half of him wanted to swipe that hand away, but the other half won. Promptly clasping the hand he'd pull himself up - Squeezing it even as he continued.
- "Jus' y' wait though. I'll get rounds off y' soon enough." A confident chuckle soon escapes him before he lets go. "Good fight, y' not 'alf bad."
- (Thalis Avitus)
- [23:45] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Uri"
- [23:45] Faira La Enfer Sanctum asks, "How did yours go?"
- [23:45] Uri Sanctum says, "I lost haha.... THough it was close."
- [23:46] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Mmm..."
- [23:46] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Guy has a lot of skill!"
- [23:46] Faira La Enfer Sanctum asks, "Would you like to go then?"
- [23:46] Uri Sanctum asks, "It's fine, for now, I'll tend to any small injuries ya got...If you'd let me study them?"
- [23:46] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Oh..."
- [23:47] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Well I was tackled, battered with waves of mana. Shocked."
- [23:47] Faira looks at her damaged dress.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [23:47] Thalis Avitus says, "Imagine not bein' shockin'... Might be a few scratches."
- [23:47] Thalis Avitus says, "Think I nicked 'er a few times 'ere 'n there."
- [23:48] Joaquin the Greater says, "Damn."
- [23:48] Thalis looks at his dirty nails for a bit, squinting as he inspects them.
- (Thalis Avitus)
- [23:48] Thalis Avitus says, "... I'unno."
- [23:49] Jay shrugged and smiled as he looks at Thalis, "You guys wanna go hang?"
- (Joaquin the Greater)
- [23:50] Little Uri would go to examine his sisters dress and arms. He had to make sure she was okay after all. Even though he was a simple apprentice, he had to go and take notes. So as his first day being a cadet, he would do exactly that. Despite his own loss, it did not ruin his passion to be recognized as a great medic, the Phoenix of this land. "It's nothing serious, but always good to take note right? Besides, the early I begin, the better of a student I can become right?"
- He smiles, taking note of the shock marks, the bruises that could have been made by the tackle and the durability of Faira's skin over all. "On anyone less, I'm going to go and guess this one with a wild card. That someone not so sturdy would uhm...Suffer greater damage, someone not sturdy like me." He speaks with compassion, as he felt a joy in people allowing him to study their injuries no matter how small.
