- Hello everyone,
- first of all, big thanks that you are down for this. I personally am really looking forward to be at Dreamhack for the first time and was very pleased with how fast you all agreed to come.
- Each of you will get a ticket for the exhibition area. This ticket will NOT allow you to enter the BYOC area. You do not need to bring your PC, we have some stations available. However, you should not forget to bring the following things:
- - Mouse
- - Keyboard
- - Mousemat (optional)
- - Headset / USB Soundcard (optional, we can probably organise that for you)
- - USB stick with your configs
- - Your Steam login information
- The list of participants has shrunken a bit in the past days and reads as follows:

- Challenger Series
- With these 5 players, we will first hold a challenger event on Saturday from ~11.00 to 15.00 where people from the BYOC area can change one of you in best-of-3 series and the best challengers win something. The challenger picks all arenas. Each pro is expected to play against the challengers for about 40 minutes.
- Pro Tournament
- Afterwards, the pro tournament will kick off. It consists of a 5 player round robin (= everyone plays everyone) with a double elimination top 4 winners round.
- The round robin tournament (best-of-1 each) is scheduled to last from Saturday, 15.30 to Saturday, 17.30. The top 4 advance to the double elimination round. The arena is chosen through a map elimination process. The winner of a coin toss goes second.
- The double elimination round (best-of-3 each) is scheduled to last from Saturday, 18.30 to Saturday, 20.00 (Upper Bracket matches 1 & 2, Lower Bracket 1) and from Sunday, 10.00 to Sunday, 11.30 (Upper Bracket 3, Lower Bracket 2, Grand Final). The first round is be seeded (#1 vs #4, #2 vs #3). The arena is chosen through a map elimination process. Either the higher seed goes second or the winner of a coin toss goes second, if the matches are unseeded (all LB matches, UB round 2).
- This should allow everyone to have enough time to travel to Jönköping on Saturday (if you are arriving later on Saturday, you will get a later shift in the challenger event) and will also give everyone enough time to leave in a timely manner on Sunday and be home early enough to be ready for work / school on Monday. However, if you want to suggest slight adjustments, feel free!
- All matches will be played on LAN servers in MGE mode. We will use the following arenas:
- MGE – Granary Middle
- MGE – Process Middle
- MGE – Snakewater Middle
- MGE – Badlands Middle
- MGE – Viaduct Middle
- MGE – Gullywash Middle
- MGE - Waste Middle
- Prizes
- Unfortunately, I still have no word on the offered prizes. The minute I get this information, I will forward it to you.
- If you have any more questions, you can reach me under this email, via Skype, via Steam, or via cell. I will be at the event from Wednesday evening on together with Mia, GipsArm, Dr. Phil and more helpers. I can not promise to be online at all times because I do not really want to go online on my cell and pay roaming fees so in urgent cases, your best best would be to call me or send me a text.
