  1. [Script Offer] [A4A] Try A Little Tenderness [Relationship] [Comfort] [No Sex] [Cuddling] [Teasing] [Sweet] [Reassurance] [Just Breathing] [L-Bomb]
  2.
  3. Potential tag: [Sleep audio]
  4.
  5. SYNOPSIS: You're getting into bed with your partner and sweetly talking/soothing them, and yourself, to sleep.
  6.
  7. NOTE - As someone who actively uses comfort and sleep audios to combat anxiety, insomnia, etc., a long version of this, extended after the script with just your breathing, even you actually falling asleep at the end, would be amazing!
  8.
  9. **Suggestions for inflection, tone, pauses, sounds, etc. in (parentheses). Feel free to improv where suggested or as you want/feel is necessary, swap out pet names, tweak dialogue, etc. Make it yours!
  10. **The SFX in [brackets] are few and just suggestion in case they’re something you’d like to incorporate. The script works just as well without them.
  11. **If you’d like the script reworked in a different way, feel free to reach out.

  13. ---------------
  14.
  15. (yawn) What a long day. Ugh. I cannot get into that bed with you fast enough. (laugh) Hey, that's not what I meant!
  16.
  17. (slightly under breath) Ok, maybe that's a little what I meant.
  18.
  19. [sounds of crawling into bed - sheets rustling, adjusting pillows, sounds of satisfaction]
  20.
  21. Mmmmm...this. is. perfection. I'm pretty sure I've been thinking about this since we had to get OUT of bed this morning.
  22.
  23. I talked to my mom today. She says hi. (pause) No, that's not all she said. You know how she is. I'm now fully up to date on every major and minor life event of my family for three generations. I heard her rather passionate opinion on the shirt I was wearing in that Instagram pic, and oh! They got 'the Netflix'. (pause) Yes, those were finger quotes. (pause) Mhmm. I told her you'd go by this weekend and explain how to use it. (pause, laughter) Because! They LISTEN to you! Please, baby? (pause) Thank you. (or feel free to improve small talk, a story about your day, etc. - whatever flows!)
  24.
  25. [sounds of shifting in bed]
  26.
  27. (sigh) This really is the best part of every day, you know that? Well, maybe the second best part. The best part might be rolling over in the morning and watching you snore and drool on your...ow! (laugh) Ok, ok, ok...but you absolutely snore.
  28.
  29. Seriously, though. I look forward to this every day. Sometimes I'll be at work or wherever and I'll be frustrated about something and I come here in my head. I come to these moments, with you, and I calm down. I know I have this waiting for me at the end of the day.
  30.
  31. I know I probably don't say it enough because we're dealing with work and bills and just life, but I wouldn't rather be doing any of it with anyone else, you know that? (pause) No, stop. It's true.
  32.
  33. I look forward to...c'mere [sounds of moving closer] I look forward to laying against you, slipping a leg between yours, like this. Putting an arm around you. Mmmm...you're always so warm. Running my fingers along your back.
  34.
  35. [a longer pause with just the sound of slow, steady breathing]
  36.
  37. You always smell so good. (pause) No, not the soap or the shampoo. You. It's the smell of YOU. (deep breath) Mmmmm.
  38.
  39. [a longer pause with just the sound of slow, steady breathing]
  40.
  41. I love your back. Hmm? Yeah? That feels good? Good.
  42.
  43. Hmm? What else? Hmmmm. Well, I love alllll of your body. Every single inch. I mean I could show you...(laugh). Ok, ok, I know. I'm tired too.
  44.
  45. It's true though. I do love your body. All of it. Even the parts I know you don't like. *Especially* the parts I know you don't like.
  46.
  47. I think this part might be my favorite part though. (kissing) I love this mouth. (soft laugh) YES. Yes, I love the things you do to me with it. But I also love when you smile. I love the way the corner tugs down when you're really focused on something. The smirk you give me when I tease you. I actually really just enjoy *watching* you speak sometimes.
  48.
  49. (kissing)
  50.
  51. Close your eyes, baby. I know you're sleepy.
  52.
  53. (softer, slower, from here forward)
  54.
  55. I love watching you when you don't realize I'm doing it. Sometimes, I'll walk in the room and stop and not let you know I'm there, just so I can watch you for a little bit. You have all these mannerisms, all these things you do and I love every one of them. It's like I've learned to read you, know what you're feeling and thinking, without you even saying a word.
  56.
  57. I love when you get excited about something, even angry. Your eyes get bright and you flush.
  58.
  59. I love when you laugh, when you really laugh. It comes up from somewhere deep and it lights up your whole face. I love that sound.
  60.
  61. I love when I can tell you're just on the edge of sleep. The little tics and twitches as your body settles. Your breath, slow and even. That sigh when you finally drift off.
  62.
  63. [a longer pause with just the sound of slow, steady breathing]
  64.
  65. (whisper) I'm not sure what I did to deserve you, but I'm so glad you're mine. I love you, baby. Good night.
