Mottled plumage in various hues of brown and white mark his upper body and head, while a vibrant chartreuse is reflected on the underside of both his wings and his underbelly, the two contrasting tones melding seamlessly together. Two inquisitive beady black eyes seem to study those around him with an unusual intellect. A short rounded beak with a slight point at the end aid him in eating seeds, and allows him to impale small insects or bits of fruit before eating them. Never still for long, he flits about in bursts of short flight, perching on anything he is able to for a moment of rest before launching airbourne once more.
